The house is divided into three floors, in addition to parking and an indoor play area. On the ground floor is the living room with fireplace and kitchen, there is also a toilet and a wonderful terrace where you see the sea. - "We came for a family get-together, eight people over three generations. Everyone's needs admirably catered for. Very spacious, very comfortable and with a superb view. Well stocked kitchen, copious towels, the pool terrific. The garden is beautiful. Negatives? Well, the view comes at a price, of a steep 15 minutes up from the beach at the end of the afternoon but we'd foreseen that and it's only once a day. More disturbing are the guard dogs who press on the fences and gates on the hill up, barking and slavering. Not great for adults. The stuff of nightmares for the 7-year-old. But, knowing this, we'd still love to go back. It was an idyllic week!"

- "We had a brilliant stay at Maria's apartment in August. There were 2 adults, a 16 and 12 year old and the space was perfect...inside and out. The swimming pool was well used in 33oc heat! It was lovely to have it all to ourselves and we could use it anytime. The outside shower was useful. The apartment was well equipped....the dishwasher and washing machine were handy!) The neighbourhood is quiet (you can hear the church bells - they were lovely and the train in town. Listen out for the peacock! but none these disturb you). It is a 10/15 min walk to town which is a quaint, traditional spanish town. It comes alive at night but not in a tourist way, just locals going out for dinner. We didn't eat in town but there are plenty of restaurants. Do go to the bakery on the corner...delicious products and get an icecream from one of the parlours! The beach is next to the town...and has a public toilet..very useful. The train is also in town . We took the train to Barcelona on one day. It takes an hour and is very cheap (compared to the UK!). The apartment is on a little hill (and has steps to the inside) and if you have a car, you park at the bottom so it may not suit people with poor mobility. We really enjoyed our stay here and would highly recommend it. Maria's communications was 5* and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely stay here again and explore north of Sant Pol De Mar."

Come and enjoy a wonderful holiday in a traditional 19th century Spanish town house built around an interior patio in the heart of Sant Pol de Mar, north of Barcelona. The patio brings sun and shade right into the heart of the house which complements the light and airy rooms.

Formerly a hotel, the top floor is closed off but this still leaves a huge amount of space - 380m2 - shared among 9 bedrooms (3 doubles, 6 singles) spread over 2 floors which gives everybody plenty of room to relax. The original touches are still there to appreciate, from the ornate light fittings to the wash hand basins in the rooms. But there are all the mod cons you need as well - internet connection, fully equipped kitchen and flat screen TV.

The ground floor has a huge dining room which connects to the living room. The kitchen is well fitted out with oven, hotplates, microwave, toaster, fridge and all the utensils you’ll need. This floor also has one double bedroom and 2 cloakrooms with WC. All spaces have big windows which provide lots of light and fresh air into the house.

The heart of the house is the patio. Utterly private it connects to the kitchen and is the pillar of light and freshness around which the house is built - the perfect place for everybody to sit down and enjoy dinner together.

- "This is a wonderful house for a relaxing vacation near the sea in tranquil Sant Pol de Mar. Teresa was great at communicating with us. She also gave us very good recommendations for restaurants and food stores. The house was impeccably clean and we found everything to be as described in the ad, but the photos don't do justice to the wonderful views and the tasteful elegance of the home, which is decorated with superb style. Sant Pol is a charming little town which is not spoiled by over-development of hotels and large apartment buildings (unlike Calella de la Costa, the next town up the coast). In part this is because of the very hilly topography which makes it easy to build nice houses in the hills but not easy to build big buildings. The same hills mean that, in Summer at least, having a car to get around is absolutely necessary, and advisable throughout the year. From Teresa's house it is a short walk to the beach, steeply downhill, but you'll want a car for the trip home! Another thing to keep in mind is that in the Summer months the city prohibits open fires outdoors, so you can't use the barbecue on the terrace. We were just a couple and only used the master bedroom bed, which was very comfortable. The little "pool" was great to have for a quick cool-down on hot afternoons. And it was also great to have both the terrace outside the master bedroom upstairs, and the lower terrace dining table, so that we could eat in either place depending on temperature, wind conditions, and how much we wanted to see the sea while eating. The house can sleep up to 7 people, but is probably best for single families of 3-6 rather than big groups of friends."

- "The apartment was amazing. It was remodeled, new appliances, a lot of space, very bright with all the windows, a clean bathroom. The washing machine was definitely a nice addition to it all. The location was perfect, just a few meters from the beach, close to the city center and the train station, which takes about an hour to get to Barcelona.The apartment was a bit hard to find though.
