It looks like this used to be a cheap motel but the owner did a great job renovating it! Personally, the pillows were a little stiff for my liking but I usually find all hotel pillows to be either too soft or too stiff. The in-unit AC works really well and it's easy to control. Water pressure is also on the lighter side but didn't really affect showering. Rooms are also not super well sound proofed so it's easy to hear people walking around the halls but you can't really hear between rooms. The hotel is still undergoing some renovations so it's not as pretty and refined as some high end hotels but I wouldn't mind coming back for another stay next time I'm in the area."

Spring is here with summer just around the corner. How about doing something different, something unique? Book with me for that weekend before a birthday. What a great Kodak moment!! My place is very quiet, very comfortable....a little piece of heaven. Or spend Easter getting away for a weekend. How about Memorial Day weekend? I still have some openings for summer, but it is filling up fast. Plan ahead.......... :) My place is an upscale place with a view that is out of this world. One guest called my apartment "posh". There are places you can stay; but then there are places you can feel like you are living the dream. Beautiful accommodations, lots of amenities, and a view that few can beat. Located in Marshfield, MA, which was written up recently as the best place to live in Massachusetts. Lots of history here along with being a seaside town. Marshfield is located in Plymouth County along the South Shore of Massachusetts.

The apartment is on the upper floor of my home which was renovated after a fire. It has its own entrance. There are three large rooms. The main room (living room and kitchenette) is 12.6 X16); the bedroom has the same measurements and the bathroom is about 10 X 10. It is very spacious and has 'breath-taking' distant ocean views. A 5-minute walk to the beach is all it takes to make a great vacation. It is a very quiet and safe area.

In addition to the beach, there is a lot to keep you busy. Right close by are two restaurants. There are also many walking trails and bike paths.

The 'T' station is in nearby Scituate. You can hop the train into Boston.

The best feature is walking to a private beach less than 50 yards away. It has a back deck and outdoor shower to rinse off and then unwind.. The Space:
You can enjoy a shared 50-foot long deck, and views of the South River. With a full kitchen, cozy bedrooms and salty crosswinds, our guest suite is the perfect oasis to stay put or explore. Both bedrooms have a queen bed and cot available. We are located on the second floor, stair access, in the Creating the Space building. We are a great spot for vacationers, travelers, and outdoor enthusiasts looking to explore a magical community on Massachusetts' South Shore.

Getting Here: Creating the Space is located in Humarock, MA. We're located on the east side of the Marshfield Avenue Bridge, across the South River from Marshfield Hills. After crossing the bridge, we're the second building on the right. Look for blue-shutters and coral doors at the intersection of Marshfield Ave. and Central Ave. Our lodging entrance and parking lot is on the Central Ave. side, directly across from the Post Office.

Using your GPS, enter 10 Marshfield Ave. Humarock, MA 02047 and we will come up.

Enter the coral, beveled glass door on Central Ave, across from the Post Office and the Nantucket Guest House is directly at the top of one flight of stairs (Nantucket, Guest Suite 2). We will reach out to you ahead of your arrival to share details on keys.

Humarock Beach is a picturesque seaside village of Scituate, MA, surrounded by water and situated on Cape Cod Bay midway between Boston and Plymouth. This particular Ocean Drive neighborhood has always been our favorite spot on the Humarock peninsula. "Shore Bet" beach cottage is located about 150 yards from private Humarock Beach, and the same distance to the South River. It's also a short walk to the village center, and steps from the gorgeous sand dunes with protected wildlife and trails to fully take in where marsh meets sea. A few of our favorite activities are kayaking, paddleboarding, and striper fishing in the ocean and in the South River. For fishing, we surf cast, drop off the bridge, or fish from our kayaks. For the younger kids, it's beach and more beach... then a short walk to the center for some ice cream or other eats. Walk the opposite direction on the beach and enjoy low tide at "The Rocks" where the kids love the tidepools with fish, crabs, snails, starfish and other creatures. Families can enjoy their favorite food and beverages on the beach with plenty of space for corn hole, bocce, frisbee, building castles, looking for rocks and seaglass, and more.

Humarock is a peninsula (some call it an island), accessible from Scituate by boat or from Marshfield by bridge.

This home is the second to last house on a dead end street in beautiful Green Harbor. Views of the Marsh and the sunset at night are amazing!! Walk past a few houses and you are on the beach. Green Harbor Beach (Burke's Beach) is a short walk to the left, and Duxbury Beach is to the right!

Bring your bikes, kayaks or golf clubs! Ride or walk to the Green Harbor General Store (The Genny), the Green Harbor Lobster Pound (best lobster roll and fried seafood) or the Coffee Shack for a coffee and freshly made donut! All are local favorites - you will not be disappointed!!! Take a quick drive to Brant Rock and enjoy the many indoor and outdoor dining options such as Haddads, The Venus, The Jetty and the Fairview.

About the house....fully equipped kitchen with dine in table that seats 4 with an additional 2 seats at the high top counter. Living room has an L shaped sectional and a flat screen tv. Small seating area with 2 chairs and an end table - perfect for morning coffee! Bedroom # 1 has a queen size bed and plenty of storage in the closet. Bedroom # 2 has a full size bed with a twin size trundle bed under. Sun room has a sofa which pulls out to a full size sleeper sofa. House has central air-conditioning as well as a washer and dryer.

Enjoy the fenced in backyard and have a BBQ with friends / family. Picnic table and grill are provided. There is also an outdoor shower.

A taller/larger person might have a hard time going up to the bedroom with the 3 twin beds since it is a loft with a narrow set of stairs. But the pull out couch which is on the main level could be easily accessed by anyone. A wonderful space in a quaint beach community!"

The 2025 calendar year shows all weeks blocked at this time. This property has a resilient group of repeat vacationers that get first dibs on “their” week(s). These vacationers will have until January 31, 2025 to make their wishes known and to produce a deposit to secure their time at the beach. Any available weeks will be made known on February 7, 2025. Stop back then and see if there is something that will work for you!

This bungalow is a short 3 minute walk to the sandy shores of Rexhame Beach. The home is located on a dead-end terrace and only three steps separate the ground level from the floor level, making this property suitable for children and seniors alike. The property was recently remodeled with many updated conveniences added, yet the home maintains the feel of a beach cottage from years ago!

We prefer to rent full weeks that start and end on Saturdays! You may ask about availability of renting half-weeks, but they will conform to the following format:
FRONT HALF: Arrive Saturday at 2:00 p.m depart Tuesday at 6:00 p.m.
BACK HALF: Arrive Wednesday at 9:00 a.m depart Saturday at 10:00 p.m.

The home can comfortably accommodate four people. There is room to park up to five cars off-road. You can beach-walk up to six miles starting on Rexhame Beach; going north to the mouth of the North River in Scituate or south to Bluefish Cove and the entrance to Green Harbor. Surf cast for keepers right from the beach to the east, or play with the schoolies in the South River Estuary to the west. Skim board at low tide, while boogie boarding and surfing are Rexhame favorites, waves permitting! Launch your own boat or rent a charter boat out of Green Harbor. Fabulous restaurants abound but particularly in and around Brant Rock.

We’re a 4/10 of a mi. walk to the beach. From the deck in the distance can be seen & heard. Our converted 2 story garage unit is ideal for romantic getaways, a family vaca, or work from home escapes.
There’s an official bedroom upstairs & a quaint kitchenette. In the living area there’s also a couch made to sleep 2 small children or 1 adult w/ a 55” TV. Downstairs is a high end king size sleep sofa. There’s plenty of room downstairs to open up the ping pong table and enjoy the 65” TV.
