He welcomed us with a smile and conversation about the history behind Sassafras Inn and Mena, We sat and visited for about an hour. Our suite was extremely large, (2 rooms), complete with coffee and refrigerator. He then provided us with his homemade, organic blueberry muffins that were to die for. Very cozy atmosphere and a soft bed was just the remedy for a long day in the road. Highly recommend this wonderful place. Will stay again!!"

Fully furnished with all utensils, pots, pans, small crock pot, electric knife, blender, tea kettle, toaster and coffee pot along with linens and towels. Wood laminate flooring runs throughout the living areas where you will find a large living room with a sleeper sofa, large TV with satellite programming, comfortable recliner, and a selection of books are available to enjoy during your stay. The separate bedroom has a king size bed. Kitchen appliances include a stove, full size refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker w/filters for the duration of your stay. Coffee not provided. BRING YOUR COFFEE OF CHOICE. In the cabinets you will find dishes, flatware for 8, and cooking utensils. Iron and ironing board are also provided.

Address is on garbage can holder. Turn right there. PARKING: Please park to the right in front of the door to allow room for a second car to park to your left. Cottage ‘A’ is just to your right, follow sidewalk.

KAYAKS & CREEK: There are 3 ORANGE kayaks and 1 yellow kayak, paddles, & adult life jackets available for use during your stay. The kayaks are for use ON OUR PROPERTY AND ARE NOT TO BE REMOVED FROM SITE! Guests assume all responsibility for use. All guests are required to wear life jackets while kayaking. The kayaks & life jackets are hanging from the backside of the deck. Generally, the creek flows slow enough that you can paddle upstream. After about 1/2 mile downstream there are some large rocks in the middle - this is a point where you will turn around. You cannot walk back. The creek is full of fish where the water gets deeper so feel free to bring your poles and tackle. You must have an AR fishing license.

OUR PROPERTY ACCESS: The area behind the deck to the creek is our property and extends East about 50 feet which is landmarked by a large burn pile. PLEASE DO NOT TRESPASS OFF OUR PROPERTY!

CHECK IN is 3:00 pm. CHECK OUT time is 11:00am SHARP. You will be charged 30.00 per every 15 minutes past 11:00. Our housekeepers time is very valuable! PLEASE TEXT 479-216-3308 so we may service cottage for next guests.

It is a short side by side rod to Wolfpen gap trail head. There’s a small creek at the back of the property which is nice to go. Look at little fish in the morning and drink coffee. I would recommend this for couples. It is a cute little property. But my tinder date was a jerk."

The Farmhouse Cottage has a fire pit, a wrap around porch, fully equipped kitchen and utility room, wonderful views of the Ouachita Mountains, a queen sleeper sofa and an inflatable bed as well to add extra sleeping space. There is a world of outdoor activities nearby and in the general area - hiking, ATV riding/rentals, state parks, rivers, lakes, creeks and the list goes on and on.

This is a NO GROUCH CABIN. If you are hateful, rude or just plain mean, please rent somewhere else. We are nice people and we only want to deal with nice, fun people looking to enjoy their vacation :)

This 1 bedroom/1 bath STUDIO is equipped with all the comforts of home including a back covered patio and a SHARED16x20 deck outfitted with patio furniture and a BBQ grill. This deck includes outdoor lights and plenty of space to kick your feet up and relax at the end of a long day.

Wood laminate flooring runs throughout the living areas where you will find a large common room with a king sized bed, a sleeper sofa, large TV with satellite programming, comfortable recliner, and a selection of books are available to enjoy during your stay. Kitchen appliances include a stove, full size refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker w/filters for the duration of your stay. Coffee not provided! BRING YOUR COFFEE OF CHOICE. In the cabinets you will find dishes, flatware for 8, and cooking utensils. Iron and ironing board are also provided.

NO SMOKING OR VAPING INSIDE. Feel free to smoke outside on deck or patio. Please use ashtrays that are available. There is a fire pit by creek. Firewood can be purchased at Atwoods. Pack folding chairs and beach towels if planning on spending any time by creek.

There is a green sign with address posted on a tree just past the driveway. If you reach mail box, you just missed the driveway on the right. PARKING: Please park to the left in front of the door to allow room for a second car to park to your right.

KAYAKS & CREEK: There are 2 ORANGE kayaks and 1 yellow kayak, paddles, & adult life jackets available for use during your stay. The kayaks are for use ON OUR PROPERTY AND ARE NOT TO BE REMOVED FROM SITE! Guests assume all responsibility for use. All guests are required to wear life jackets while kayaking. The kayaks & life jackets are hanging from the backside of the deck. Generally, the creek flows slow enough that you can paddle upstream. After about 1/2 mile downstream there are some large rocks in the middle. This is a point where you will turn around or have arrangements made for pick up downstream. You cannot walk back. The creek is full of fish where the water gets deeper so feel free to bring your poles and tackle.

OUR PROPERTY ACCESS: The area behind the deck to the creek is our property and extends East about 50 feet which is landmarked by a large burn pile. PLEASE DO NOT TRESPASS OFF OUR PROPERTY!
Check In time is 3:00 pm. Check out time is 11:00 am SHARP. A late fee of 30.00 per every 15 min past checkout time will be charged! Our housekeepers time is very valuable! Upon checkout, please…
-Turn off all small appliances
-Wash, dry and put away all dishes, pots, pans, silverware, etc.
-Pick up all trash, papers, cigarette butts, dog poop, etc and place in garbage bag.
-Fill out Guest Book.
-Place trash in garbage cans at end of driveway (in bags only).
-Please lock door and put key back in lock box on door.

The AMRock Cabin is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom beautiful modern rustic cabin that sleeps 8 people comfortably. Besides the two king-size beds in the dedicated bedrooms, there are two queen-size beds. One queen is a pull-down murphy bed, the other is a queen in the pull-out sofa sleeper. The cabin has a full kitchen with beautiful butcher block countertops and a farm-style sink. It has an electric range and oven, microwave oven and dishwasher, along with a full-size refrigerator. Both bathrooms have beautiful vanity sinks. The master bath has a bathtub shower combo. The main bath has a spacious shower.
This cabin is nestled in the woods directly next to a Ouachita National Forest road. ATVs can be ridden directly into the forest with access to hundreds of miles of forest roads and the famous Wolf Pen Gap Trailheads with no trailering required once you unload at the cabin.
