There are many childhood relics, including vintage Sports Illustrated magazines, comic books, 45 rpm records, Valentines from my father's elementary school years, and even a Pig Extractor from my grandparents' farm. My endearing chickens live nearby, and you'll get to sample their eggs!

Park View is a 4 bed, 2 bath spacious home located in a quiet, residential neighborhood and is conveniently located to local restaurants, schools, sporting events, and a short drive to many beautiful hikes and outdoor areas. This home is furnished to welcome anyone from a large family to a single guest in the area for work. We are just yards from walking trails and an accessible park, which was opened in 2022.

The master bedroom is a queen bed with en suite bath and a large walk-in closet. The en suite is a full bath with a walk in shower, no tub.

We have a twin over full bunk bed in the second bedroom, that is perfect for kids and adults alike.

The two additional bedrooms are both queen beds with large closet space.

The living room has more than enough seating for our guests, a large smart tv, and electric fireplace that can be used on cold evenings.

The dining room has a table with 8 chairs for family meals and adjoins the kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, cooking utensils, a coffee pot (with coffee provided), and we also provide cooking essentials (salt, pepper, oil, seasonings, etc).

We also have a sunroom area with seating. This is a smaller room with a fold out futon where you will find books and family friendly games.

We don't mind sharing our home with your family pets, but please respect the property and cleaning up after them, and notify host of any issues and clean and address accidents asap. There is a $30/night pet fee. We provide a few blankets and a clean up station in the yard for your use. Dogs are not allowed on furniture, unless it is a necessity by a service animal; prefer out of the carpeted rooms due to easier to clean. Dogs need to be kenneled or in back yard if left alone. Guest is responsible to check fence and make sure it is suitable for dog to be left alone outside, however if dog is outside, excessive barking can not be an issue. If neighbors complain this could lead to cancelled reservation, with no refund. Fee for excessive damage and clean up fee of $250 will be charged for pet messes. Please utilize the pooper scooper and waste bags provided.

Smoking is allowed OUTISDE ONLY. Any smoking inside the house is strictly prohibited and if you are smoking on the deck please make sure windows are closed. please puck up trash and butts. If violated the cost of ozone treatment to remove smoke odors and residue will be charge to the guest at a minimum of $750 as cleaning fee.

Upon check in all guests must be listed and added to the reservation. An ID for everyone over 18 is required.

Also, we have our pool cleaned in between every booking, Debris sometimes blows into the pool. You are always welcome to use the “robot” or the pool nets to get out anything that may bother you. We do not have a professional come back out to clean it during guest’s stays, but nature has a mind of it's own and any outdoor pool is likely to get "outdoor substances" in it at times. If there are any MAJOR issues with the pool, again, take pictures and send them to us.

*During the Fall and Winter months the pool is technically closed. We ask that you be mindful of the pool cover (it can not be walked on), especially with children.

Kitchen/Dining:

The kitchen contains all essentials for cooking as well as some cooking basics like oil, seasonings, etc. You will also find a new coffee pot, with complimentary coffee included (it can be found in the refrigerator), a toaster, and microwave.

Adjoining the kitchen is the dining room, including a table with 6 chairs that extends to accommodate more people.

Amenities:

Complementary WiFi is provided at Homestead Acres which can accommodate streaming video and a work from home space with 1GB internet.

A full-size washer and dryer is on-site along with complimentary detergent for use. The laundry room is located in a separate room outside the main home. This is an enclosed room and is locked, with the key being provided to guests.

House Rules:

Multiple buildings exist on the land where the property being rented is located. Access to the home listed is the only building where access is given with a reservation. Access to and entry of the other buildings on property is strictly prohibited. These buildings are monitored, and additional fees will be added if evidence can be shown that tenants enter or attempt to enter the buildings. These buildings include, but are not limited to, the original homestead, barn, cellar, well house, and any other outbuildings on the property. Guests should also not attempt to stand on or access the porch or back deck of the homestead. Dried crusty brown stuff in the bottom of the fridge, old food crumbs in the microwave, old pieces of food left in the kitchen sink, dirt or crumbs of some kind in the window sills, i had to clean the tub, and the stool before i used them because there was dust and hairs on them. The keurig still had a used pod in it, and old water. The top of it was dust covered, and the little drip area that your coffee cup sits on had something caked up on it. No idea what it was. The floors were tracked up, and our bedding hadnt been washed. And there were alot of ants. I contacted the owner about it"
