- "Great place to stay. Close to concerts at Top of the Rock (4 miles) and Branson. Will definitely stay here again. WIFI was spotty but I wasn’t there to work or be online so worked out well for use. Thank you " - "It's a cute little place and served our purpose of being near the Top of the Rock, Branson Belle, and Branson. We had plenty of linens and enjoyed the hot tub on the back deck. It was quiet and peaceful.During our stay, the city put a water boil advisory into effect, so we weren't able to use the tap water for drinking, ice, brushing teeth, etc. We weren't expecting that, but no fault of anyone and Ryan text to make sure we were aware, which was extremely kind of him to do. I did give 4 stars instead of 5 for cleanliness. The kitchen, toilets, floors were all clean, and really it wasn't super dirty, but looked like certain areas could've used another clean or wipe down before we arrived. The window sills had a few dead bugs, like gnats, some of the dishes still had some food remnants that looked like didn't come off in the dishwasher, dusty in various parts of the house. The other things, though not major, is that several of the remotes did not work. The ones for the lamps, candles, the shower. They might just need a battery change. Overall, I still give the place a 5 and the communication with Ryan was easy."

Approximately a 15-20 minute drive up Hwy 65N is Branson, MO which boasts some of the finest golf courses, delicious local restaurants, thirst quenching watering holes, and a myriad of other terrific experiences!

Sitting less than a mile down a well-maintained gravel road, the Landing House is tucked neatly into the side of the Ozark Mountains. The home itself boasts an inviting atmosphere both indoors & out with beautiful landscaping and cozy spaces to chill! The house itself sports 2 bedrooms & 2 full bathrooms with accommodations to sleep up to 9. Large windows in the Living Room/Kitchen allow the natural beauty of Arkansas to stream in of a morning and let's you take in the serenity of the evening sunsets at dusk. Outside you will enjoy wandering the grounds taking in all the local flora & fauna. Below the Landing House is a leveled sitting area complete with horseshoe pits, a fire pit, and plenty of chairs for relaxing. Nearby the fire pit is the Studio with access to a covered wood deck. This deck space generally has a gentle breeze pulling through and provides an ideal location to wait out a rainstorm as you listen to the pitter-patter of the rain on the metal roof and feel time itself slow down just a bit...

Internet Update as of October 2022: We have exhausted all of the options for internet providers. We believe we have settled on our best option and we currently have internet service at the Landing House. However, we cannot guarantee strong enough internet signal for the workaholic who can never seem to disconnect. Please keep in mind that part of the charm of staying in rural Arkansas & the Ozark Mountains is spotty cell phone/internet service which allows the traveler to get off the grid and unplug...at least for a little while anyway. As you will see in our reviews, the vast majority of our guests are thankful for the opportunity to step away from the rat race of life.

- "One of my daughters and I stayed her back in April. We loved it so much, she immediately started asking to go back. So, in July we returned, with her sister in tow. The cabin itself is just lovely. Fully stocked, and beautiful. We drove down to Harrison for great meals and shopping. And we drove up into Branson and Springfield for more shopping, and various entertainment options. Loved it. Both my daughters are wanting to return and experience the cabin when the weather is colder. :) Seems like the perfect spot for chili and hot chocolate."

Most of the roads to our property are paved. The last 1/4 mile is on gravel, so slow down and take your time as you make your way to our scenic location.

There are NO stairs on the property.

Check-in is a breeze with the 4-digit code we will provide.

Guests will have access to the entire property, including the private hot tub, fire pit, and laundry.

PLEASE REVIEW THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BEFORE BOOKING:

■ HOT TUB - Absolutely NO GLASS or food near the hot tub. NO BUBBLES, NO SALTS OR OILS can be added to the hot tub. You must shower first and wear a swimsuit (not clothes) in the hot tub. The hot tub is professionally serviced twice a week. Just let us know if it needs to be served during your stay.

■ AGE - All guests must be 21+ with the exception of children with their parents.

■ OCCUPANCY - Maximum 2 Persons. If you bring more people than accounted for on your reservation, you will be asked to leave without a refund.

■ SECURITY CAMERA - Security cameras on the front porch are in place for your protection. You will be asked to leave the property immediately with no refund if you touch or tamper with the cameras. This is for your protection.

■ NO SMOKING - This is a NON-SMOKING/VAPING cabin.

■ UNCONTROLLABLE SITUATION - No refunds for weather/natural disasters/power outages/other things that are beyond our control. Please purchase travel insurance for coverage if this is a concern.

■ PETS - Pets are NOT allowed. We love pets. However, some of our family members and guests are very allergic to pet dander. Please be considerate and make alternate vacation arrangements for your furry family members. Many pet-friendly cabins in the area would love to host your family.

■ CHECK-IN/OUT - Check-in at 4:00 PM. Check-out at 10:00 AM. We do not offer early check-ins or late check-outs.

■ CRITTERS - We have the cabin on a regular pest control schedule to help minimize the possibility of insects and critters. However, this is a lake area and some insects are unavoidable. You can occasionally expect to see critters (bugs, ants, spiders, bats etc.) in or around the cabin. If this is a concern for you, a place further from the water may be a better fit for you. Please help us by keeping the floors swept, sweets in the fridge, and trash cleaned up.

■ CHECK-IN/OUT - We can occasionally offer an early check in/out for an additional fee. This can only be set up 7 day prior to your stay. Please inquire if you are interested. If you stay late, past your check out time, you will be charged $100/hr.

■ COOKING - Absolutely no cleaning fish in the cabin. No cooking sea food in the cabin. There is a propane grill by the hot tub for you.

■ MISC - No drugs. No parties or events. No fireworks on the property. No weapons. Do not throw things other than toilet paper into toilet. No re-arranging furnitures. No glitter, confetti, or candles in the cabin.

It’s just the wind interacting with the structure — nothing to worry about. We also provide earplugs for extra comfort, though most guests find it minimal and part of the lakeside atmosphere.

Access to our container home is at the end of a shared gravel driveway. It is about a 10 minute walk to the beach.

Please note: There is construction taking place right next to the cabin, and for some time it may be ongoing during the day. While we do our best to minimize any inconvenience, occasional noise is possible. Your comfort is important to us, so please feel free to ask if the construction next door has been completed before booking.
