- "We never saw another person at this Inn, not a guest, nor a proprietor. We were the only people there, which was a little weird. Because it was during in the eclipse and an hour from totality. All communication was email and text. Oh, one phone call. I don’t know what it’s like at the height of the summer/boating season. But I’d like to return in the fall. It’s in a neighborhood with normal houses, but you can sit on the deck and enjoy river view from hot tub. It’s very spacious. A complete apartment. We were upstairs in Room 2. See top right of photo. I did not like the stupid motion detector coming on when I wanted to sit on deck at night. It’s completely unnecessary and annoying. The frig was just stocked with breakfast and lunch items when we arrived. We couldn’t even eat all of it. What a nice surprise. There’s a good pizza/bar/local dive a few blocks away. Another complaint is that there should be a double bed instead of a single in the second bedroom. But overall, I recommend this quaint Inn and I’d stay again and ask for the same room. I enjoyed the upper deck and privacy. "

The space
This is not a brand new cabin, but has been updated in 2020. We left all the original knotty pine walls. This is a STUDIO cabin therefore we named it our "cozy" cabin.
Our intention was to tidy this cozy space and leave its history. Enjoy a private bathroom and shower. A small stove, full refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker. Keyless entry. There are assigned parking spaces. Our cabin is located on a large property with 4 other cabins spaced out. Feel free to walk around and enjoy nature with the respect of others.
NEW smart TV. local wifi is available BUT hard to connect to at times in this cabin. We have purchased a smart tv allowing cell phone wifi or Hotspot connections.

- "I enjoyed everything about this cabin. Property manager very helpful and gets back to you right away. It was very clean and I felt very safe. The only complaint I had was the bed. If you like overly soft with no support then you will be in the right place. But if you need supports as I do then you should look eles where. If the mattress problem was fixed I would definitely stay every time I go to Branson." - "Had the most glorious Thanksgiving Week here. Will definitely come back when we are in the area again. Celebrating our Honeymoon in the "Cozy Cabin" (#1 of the 4 cabins on site). Dollar General, Pizza Place, and Coffee Shop within walking distance. Beautiful views of the mountains and river. A real treat away from the hustle and bustle. They even thought of our furry friends and had treats, potty bags, and a sweet welcome note for us all. The thoughtful details put it over the top. Feels just like home. There is even a wooded field trail 3 minutes from the cabin where your fur babies can run free (if they used to being off leash). Cozy Cabin #1 - Updated Heating/AC Indoor Unit and front deck. Roku TV. Wifi. Decorated for the Christmas Season. Very Comfortable Queen Sized Bed. - "I only have 2 complaints about the place. Beyond that I do not have enough space to say all the nice things I would like. The first complaint is the provided toilet paper was awful but we left the place stocked with good paper. The second complaint is the mold or something set my allergies off really bad. The cabin was clean, the dock is right across the street, parking was enough for 3 vehicles. We will definitely be back." - "Wanted a getaway to relax and this was perfect!! - "Very nice place and well keep up" - "Enjoyed our stay during the Thanksgiving holiday while visiting our daughter in Branson. Lovely place in a quiet location. Close to everything Branson offers without being in the middle of it all. Great amenities including a hot tub and free breakfast." - "First of all, the gentleman who we communicated our issues to was so very polite! He was our waiter at the restaurant where a fabulous breakfast was provided every morning except Monday. They are closed on Monday. We never received any check-in information. We had to find it by calling the VRBO number. The hot tub was dirty and freezing cold, but was fixed after a couple days. It took three days to get hot water for showers. We ended up having to go to the store to purchase toilet paper, trash bags, soap, etc. All the containers provided were empty. The shower curtain and towel holder both fell all on their own. Due to poor construction. The listing is deceiving. There’s one bottom unit and two upstairs units. You have to listen to people stomp around above you. The owners are from Russia so expect a language barrier, but again Arthur is so sweet. He’s just the waiter/translator so he can only do so much. The owner never actually came out front to speak with us. This is a newer structure (?) but very poorly constructed. Furniture is extremely uncomfortable, mattresses are horrible and only one bed had a fitted sheet on it. I don’t think they was comforters between guests. I just used the sheet and got my own blanket. Commute to town was grueling. Prepare to spend a lot of time and gas going back and forth. Unless you’re going strictly for lake entertainment, save money and get a hotel or place closer to town. After two calls and three days, we did finally get hot water."

If your Lake Taneycomo vacation is for fishing, look no further. This one bedroom lakeside cabin comes with a boat slip right next to the public launch. Each cabin has a full bathroom and a kitchenette with a stove, oven and full sized refrigerator. Outside is a picnic table and bbq grill. If you don't want to cook, Branson is only 15 minutes away by car where you will find plenty of great places to eat.

Our Cabin is located in the heart of the Ozark Mountains and is only 10 mi to Branson, Missouri. Adventure awaits in the historic fishing village of Rockaway Beach, which is located on the shores of Lake Taneycomo, a part of the famous White River Basin. Anglers come here from far and wide for a Trout fishing experience that is second to none. Rent a boat at the nearby Marina (2 blocks away) and travel a few minutes upstream to Branson Landing for a unique dining and shopping experience.
The space
From the moment you walk in you feel as if you are at a special retreat at the lake. The cabin has a rustic theme and the outdoor space comes to life at night with the campfire and string lights. The deck, BBQ and fire pit area is a shared space.

Guests have access to the entire place including the outside campfire pit and BBQ areas.

- "I’ll start with the positives, it was a very good price. It had been cleaned and I do think the place was fairly clean. The location was good, not terribly far from Branson. However, it smelled like something died in there. I didn’t reach out to the property manager because I knew the trip was non refundable, and I think the smell was due to it being such an old building and plumbing so it probably couldn’t have been fixed quickly. We ended up booking a hotel for the rest of our stay. You get what you pay for."
