This cozy cabin, approximately 800 sq. ft. has wood interior throughout. All updates including the windows are centered around the lake view from the home and from the deck. Two bedroom and 1 bath. Large outside shower with its own hot water source, great for just coming off the water to clean up, to enjoy the roominess of an outside shower, and to free up the inside bathroom. Very comfortable for 4 people with the two queen beds, a queen foldout couch in living room sleeps 2 more for a maximum of 6 guests. Walls are insulated inside and out for a peaceful retreat. Cabin is fully furnished with bedding, towels, cookware, plates, silverware, etc. and a I propane grill on the 12' X 32' deck for awesome outdoor cooking and dining while enjoying the view. Cabin is easily accessible with all paved roads and is located approximately 15 minutes from Roaring River State Trout Fishing Park, less than 30 minutes to Eureka Springs, Arkansas, just around the bend from Big M Marina (less than 1 mile by boat or land), approximately 10 miles or 15 minutes by land from Eagle Rock Marina (3 miles by water). Big M is a full service Marina including boat rental and slips and don't forget the Dock N Eat on-the-water café (can be accessed by water or land). Come to our cozy cabin on the lake and enjoy all the lake activities and more with all the beautiful surroundings. This is a non-smoking and no pet cabin for the comfort of our guests with a allergies. It's a short walk down the road from the cabin to the lake for a quick dip (by the boat docks, which are private-no trespassing); there is also another swim area. There is a boat ramp and a swimming area in the Big M recreation area, which is a Corp of Engineers park so there is a fee. Boat parking is available on property outside power to recharge boat batteries.

Enjoy your vacation getaway while staying in a spectacular log home on 12 acres in Mark Twain National Forest nestled on a private cove located on the 'Quiet side of the Lake'. The 3 story log house has plenty of room to relax and everything you need to make your vacation perfect. Pine logs, milled and kiln-dried in North Carolina, along with notty pine wood, doors and maple hard wood flooring give the home a very rustic and warm feel. Cedar trees that were cut down on the property provide both a functional and unique accent to the home.

Once you enter you will be delighted at the spacious and open floor plan. The lake and tall hardwood trees can be seen through the large windows and sliding glass doors on the back 2 story wall of the family room.

Relax with a drink on the large, covered porch while watching and listening to the birds and wildlife without leaving your chair. You will feel like you are sitting in a tree house with nature and trees all around you.

Cook your favorite meal in a custom designed kitchen while still staying connected with your guests. The kitchen is fully equiped with everything you need to make your favorite meal. Black walnut cabinets, granite counter tops, a farmhouse sink and new stainless steel appliances makes the job easy and enjoyable. A long kitchen table made from old barn wood, the kitchen island and bar will seat up to 12 people for an evening meal.

Soak the day away in a large claw foot tub in the Master Bath. The large Master Bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed for a good night sleep. When you wake up, open the sliding glass doors to join your guests on the back porch for a morning coffee.

A spacious office just off the foyer provides a private get away for reading or using your laptop. Internet access is provided for your convenience. If you need an additional room for sleeping, you can use the queen size bed.

As you go up the stairs to the second floor, you will find a loft and two bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own full size bath, a king or queen size bed and 2 XL twin beds. In addition, you have your own HVAC unit and thermostat for your own personal comfort.

The basement is finished with a pool table, basketball game, TV, couch and tables for playing games. It also has a bar area with sink, microwave, small refrigerator and full bath with shower for your convenience.

There are several trails on the property to go on a nature hike through the woods. The backyard has a gradual slope to the lake and a fire pit for family gatherings and comfort on cooler evenings.

If you need to run into town for supplies, groceries or get something to eat, it is just a short 15 minute drive. If you are looking for a day trip, Branson, Silver Dollar City and Eureka Springs, AR are only 1 hour away.

You will find our cabin warm and inviting. The river rock gas fireplace, pine wood floors and pine stair case greet you and make you feel right at home in the big woods. In addition, the open concept kitchen-living-dining area keeps everyone together but with enough room to spread out. The living room has a memory foam queen sleeper sofa and a twin size sleeper loveseat. The TV is ready with a DVD player and Starlink internet for streaming. We also have a record player so that you can teach the kids the best way to listen to music... vinyl. The Big Woods Cabin kitchen is loaded with cookware and everything you need to prepare and serve a full meal or to just whip up something quick. Our household is split on coffee- so we offer both from the pot and a Keurig.

In addition, downstairs you will find a bedroom with queen size bed, full bathroom, and a washer and dryer (we have the detergent).

Upstairs the kids and adults will love the loft with two- twin over full bunk beds. The loft overlooks the living room downstairs. The master suite is also upstairs and includes a king size bed and a private balcony. The bathroom has a stand up shower, toilet room and double sink.

Outside:
Our home has full access to the tribute falls pavilion located only 50 yards away. The pavilion is a rustic lodge equipped with a large inside table, community refrigerator and bathroom. Please remember that the pool and pool house are only open during the summer months.

Go Jump in the Lake!! Big M Marina approximately 1/8 of a mile away. Water sporting rentals are available at the marina as well as nightly slip rental. At Big M Marina you can dine at the 'Dock-n-Eat', one of table rock lake's floating restaurants. There is also a convenience store at the marina along with the Bear's Den Ice Cream Parlor. Marina and restaurant is only open during the summer season.

There is a Dollar General, local grocery store, pizza hut, and other small town amenities at nearby Shell Knob, a 15 to 20 minute drive. The closest Walmart is an 18 mile, 30 minute drive away at Cassville. Cassville also offers restaurants and a small hospital with 24 hour ER services.

For the Kids:
We have traveled with kids for seven years now and know the difference a truly family friendly environment makes for everyone. Our house is ready for the youngest of guest with a pack-in-play, high chair, and baby gate for the stairs. We have a step stool in the bathroom and nightlights ready to go. There will be a small assortment of toys, board games, DVDs and books. Our street is paved and dead ends- which limits traffic. We are happy to share a few pool toys and beach towels, but keep in mind that there is no guarantee of exactly what will be in the deck box. If you have a request, just ask and we will do our best.

5 Bedrooms, 3 Full Bath:

You will find our cabin warm and inviting. The pine wood ceilings, unique fixtures and beautiful views make you feel right at home in the big woods. In addition, the open concept kitchen-living-dining area keeps everyone together but with enough room to spread out. The living room has two seating areas. The dining room table seats 12+ and there are 5 more seats at the kitchen bar. The TV is ready with a DVD player, current and classic movies and Starlink internet for streaming. The Big Woods kitchen is loaded with cookware and everything you need to prepare and serve a full meal or to just whip up something quick. We have enough dinner ware for everyone and ample storage in the pantry. Our household is split on coffee- so we offer both from the pot and a Keurig.

In addition, downstairs you will find a bedroom with king size bed, full bathroom (wheel chair accessible shower) and a washer and dryer (we have the detergent for you).

Upstairs the kids and adults will love the loft with two- twin over twin over full bunk beds. That's right sleep 8 in the loft. The loft overlooks the living room downstairs. The master suite is also upstairs and includes a king size bed and an attached bathroom. The bathroom with a stand up shower and dual copper sinks feels like it came from a magazine. There is a third bedroom with a queen sized bed. Finally, what we call the super loft- climb the ladder to the third story loft with a queen size bed (the ceiling slants and is low). This area can accommodate kids or adults with semi privacy.

After struggling to find rentals where we could take our elderly grandparents we worked hard to design a house with minimal steps to enter and a shower with out a lip. We hope you love these features too.

Outside:

Our home has full access to the tribute falls pavilion located next door. The pavilion is a rustic lodge equipped with a large inside table, community refrigerator, bathroom, stereo system, and charcoal grill. Please remember that the pool and pool house are only open during the summer months.

Go Jump in the Lake!! Big M Marina approximately 1/8 of a mile away. Water sporting rentals are available at the marina as well as nightly slip rental. At Big M Marina you can dine at the Dock-n-Eat, one of table rock lake's floating restaurants.There is also a convenience store at the marina along with the Bear s Den Ice Cream Parlor. Please note that the Marina restaurant is open Memorial Day to Labor Day.

There is a Dollar General, local grocery store, pizza hut, and other small town amenities at nearby Shell Knob, a 15 to 20 minute drive. The closest Walmart is an 18 mile, 30 minute drive away at Cassville. Cassville also offers restaurants and a small hospital with 24 hour ER services.

Looking for a day of fun outside the house ask us about nearby Branson, MO (we love the Stampede and Silver Dollar City), Eureka Springs, AR (quaint town full of artists and history), Northwest AR (Woo Pig Sooie, the free Crystal Bridges Art Museum and home of many well known entrepreneurs) and Springfield, MO (Bass Pro and Wonders of Wildlife Aquarium).

For the Kids:

We have traveled with kids for nine years now and know the difference a truly family friendly environment makes for everyone. Our house is ready for the youngest of guest with a pack-in-play, high chair, and baby gate for the stairs. In addition our outlets are covered. We have a step stool in the bathroom and nightlights ready to go. There will be a small assortment of toys, board games, dvds and books. Our street is paved and dead ends- which limits traffic. We are happy to share a few pool toys and beach towels, but keep in mind that there is no guarantee of exactly what will be in the deck box. If you have a request, just ask and we will do our best.

- "Great getaway if you’re wanting peace & quiet. Nestled back in the woods a bit. Wrap around porch faces the woods & water & has a nice gas grill & smoker, lots of outdoor seating. Propane provided. Fire pit out back. A fox came right up in the backyard. Screened in porch off the kitchen and downstairs bedroom with seating & mini fridge. LOTS of space! Technically it’s a 3 bdrm if you count the twin bunk bed in the loft. Upstairs sleeps 6 & downstairs sleeps 2. Washer/dryer work great. Soap provided. Lots of towels, dishes, etc. All you need. 3 TVs. The water behind the house is not very accessible. It’s on a steep bank, however my son was able to get down there & fish a bit. There is no swim dock on the property as advertised but there are swimming areas nearby (Eagle Rock Campground) has a public beach. Travis, the host, is extremely friendly & helpful. He is very quick to respond. I highly recommend this place if you’re wanting something away from the busy life. This would be a great getaway even in the winter time. We visited Dogwood Canyon & Blue Spring Heritage Center. I recommend both!"

- "The house was perfect for what we needed." - "Lakeside Home is just a few blocks from the lake and more importantly, our dock. We host all of our friends and family one weekend a year and we fill up ALL of the rentals. We just discovered this perfectly located, adorable place. We will definitely be booking this for our friends again!!" - "Let me start by saying the area was great. Very pretty and quiet. The view of the lake from the kitchen window was nice. The backyard was big and our kids loved playing out there. The big deck was great and we used the grill most nights for dinner. The town is full of friendly people and the local grocery store had everything we needed including a fantastic meat counter with an awesome variety of different sausages made in house. We especially loved the blueberry breakfast sausage and the Hawaiian Pineapple sausage. Delicious! They also have a grind your own coffee station with a dozen different options. We loved it. It was too cold for boating and lake activities but there are lots of flee markets in the surrounding areas for those that love a vintage treasure hunt and Eureka Springs, AR is just 30 minutes away. That town is so cool. We spent a few days wandering through all the shops and historic sites and even toured one of the many caves open to the public. Now as for the cabin... our trip happened to be during the coldest winter the area had seen in decades. The cabin only has one heat source in the living room by the front door. It reminds me of a space heater where it's either on or off. Blowing really hot air or nothing. The living room was roasting hot and the bedrooms were freezing. The weather started to warm up eventually and we started to get more comfortable and the kids were able to play outside, but those first three nights we were freezing. We bought two space heaters at the local hardware store but they kept tripping the breaker so we could only use one at a time. We warmed up the kids room and my husband and I shivered under extra blankets we brought from home. Once the weather warmed up a bit we were way more comfortable, but those first 3 nights were cold. As an unrelated side note, we did appreciate the access to the washer and dryer with available detergent and dryer sheets. We went home without any dirty laundry. So nice. We were there for over a week and by the end of our vacation the weather was warmer and we were sad to leave. We recognized we were there under completely abnormal circumstances since the winters are normally more mild, but we decided that if we were to visit again we'd prefer to go during warmer months."

We invite you to stay in Side B of our duplex which is located at the Big M Army Corp Campground. You will find your unit warm and inviting. The living and kitchen is open concept. There is a queen sized Murphy Bed located on one wall of the living room. There is also a 1/2 bathroom off of the living room. The TV is ready with a DVD player and Starlink internet for streaming. The Sapling kitchen is loaded with cookware and everything you need to prepare and serve a full meal or to just whip up something quick. Please note there is not a dishwasher.

Off of the living room there is a private bedroom with king sized bed and an attached full three piece bathroom with a shower/tub combo.

Outside:
Our home has full access to the tribute falls pavilion located only 50 yards away. The pavilion is a rustic lodge equipped with a large inside table, community refrigerator and bathroom. Please remember that the pool and pool house are only open during the summer months.

Go Jump in the Lake!! Big M Marina approximately 1/8 of a mile away. Water sporting rentals are available at the marina as well as nightly slip rental. At Big M Marina you can dine at the 'Dock-n-Eat', one of table rock lake's floating restaurants. There is also a convenience store at the marina along with the Bear's Den Ice Cream Parlor. Marina and restaurant is only open during the summer season.

Nearby:
There is a Dollar General, local grocery store, pizza hut, and other small town amenities at nearby Shell Knob, a 15 to 20 minute drive. The closest Walmart is an 18 mile, 30 minute drive away at Cassville. Cassville also offers restaurants and a small hospital with 24 hour ER services.

The house was recently completely remodeled. The house has hardwood flooring throughout. A brand new kitchen with a huge island that is perfect for gathering. Ample seating inside and out. Fire pit area with seating and a 'smokeless' firepit perfect for relaxing in the evening - grab some firewood on your way down at one of the many resorts near Roaring River.

Wireless internet with a smart TV and Hulu included, or your personal login to your preferred platform. Only one local aerial station is available. Stereo with aux input in the living room, a bluetooth portable speaker provided as well.

Boat mooring, rental, and/or put-in is done at Big M Marina (12 minute drive) or Eagle Rock Marina (15 minute drive). Launching any boat or PWC at the shore is prohibited by the Corp of Engineers. The docks in the cove are privately owned.
