At the end of East Hickory Street a gravel drive up the hillside takes you to a hidden stop in the woods right in town. Deer and squirrels are the closest neighbors. Amazing relaxation just minutes to everything Mena has to offer. 1.5 miles to the Mena Trails on Rich Mountain!
The bedroom is large with a wall mounted TV. A large bureau with a mirror. A chest of drawers. Two nightstands with touch lamps. A door directly to the deck. A wall mounted mini split. A cased opening leads to the kitchen and small living room area. The kitchen includes a two burner cook top a microwave, apartment size refrigerator, toaster oven, coffee pot, double sink and dishwasher. Dishes, cups and glasses are on the unique wooden shelves with pots and pans in the lower cabinets. Utensils in the drawers.
Just off the deck is a charcoal grill.

The AMRock Cabin is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom beautiful modern rustic cabin that sleeps 8 people comfortably. Besides the two king-size beds in the dedicated bedrooms, there are two queen-size beds. One queen is a pull-down murphy bed, the other is a queen in the pull-out sofa sleeper. The cabin has a full kitchen with beautiful butcher block countertops and a farm-style sink. It has an electric range and oven, microwave oven and dishwasher, along with a full-size refrigerator. Both bathrooms have beautiful vanity sinks. The master bath has a bathtub shower combo. The main bath has a spacious shower.
This cabin is nestled in the woods directly next to a Ouachita National Forest road. ATVs can be ridden directly into the forest with access to hundreds of miles of forest roads and the famous Wolf Pen Gap Trailheads with no trailering required once you unload at the cabin.

Checked Vrbo and found this hidden gem. It was so cute on the outside and then my eyes got wider as I walked in. It was so beautiful. Loved the layout and decor. But the best surprise was the bear I saw when I opened the front door on the day we were leaving. I opened the door, and there he was. It was awesome. Do not hesitate to rent this property. - "This cabin is tucked back in the woods off of a paved road but literally just minutes from Mena. It made getting supplies easy. Then we drove beautiful county roads to the Wolf Pen Gap trails on the side x side. Found several places to swim/wade in the cool, clear water. We seen a cave and a place where there was a natural spring coming out of the mountain to a spillway. There were deer everywhere and I think there is a family of 4 with two babies that still had their spots living near the cabin. We seen them more than once. Had a visit from a raccoon overnight at the cabin. The side x side had paw prints and a few buttons pushed. Sure would like to know what that raccoon was thinking. All in all it was a wonderful stay and we would recommend this place to others."

The space
This newly-renovated 1940's cabin, has an eclectic vibe with a focus on 60's mid-century modern furniture. The upstairs loft boasts a cozy bohemian/gyspy atmosphere.

The west-facing wall of the house is made completely of new windows and the view from both downstairs and up in the loft of the west is spectacular, facing the pond and trees. There is a furnished deck complete with fire pit on the west side of the cabin as well, where you can sit awoth the amazing pond view and relax with a cozy fire. S’mores ingredients included.

The home has 2 bedroom areas, one queen bed in the loft located up a spiral staircase, and a king bed next to the living room downstairs. There is also a couch available for a fifth person to sleep on; we have extra sheets and blankets available as needed.

There is a red vintage cone fireplace in the living room.

As of February 2024 we have 25 mbps internet. This service is sent over the air from several miles away and is therefore susceptible to inclement weather. You should be able to perform light internet tasks including streaming to one personal device at a time without taxing the service too much.

Cell coverage is spotty with AT&T and Verizon being the only service we have found that works at the cabin. Once you get into downtown Mena most other cell services will work. There is a coffee shop in town called The Ouachitas that has wi-fi.

We do not have any streaming services set up so you have to go old school on this one and watch dvd's. We have a small mostly older selection or there is a Red Box rental inside the entrance at the Walmart.

The radio works and will pick up some stations. It also has a bluetooth adapter that if you know how to pair your device to it (I think you switch the receiver input to AUX and then hold the button on the bluetooth til it blinks you should be able to pair).

We have several modern boardgames that you are welcome to play as well as guidebooks and information for the area mainly for hiking. If you would like more information on hiking and the best trails in the area feel free to reach out and we will be happy to get you going outside.

Mena is a small country town. Do not be surprised when the town shuts down after 5pm with most businesses shutting down after lunch on Saturday. Sunday is completely dead outside of dining and Walmart/grocery stores. Walmart is open late as well as a couple of the restaurants and fast food.

Guest access
Guests may park anywhere on the dirt road/drive that passes the house; larger trucks and campers must go a bit past the cabin on the road/drive to park. There is plenty of parking options behind the house, under the carport or on the driveway. Please do not park on the grass.

Guests enter the cabin through the mudroom/laundry room using a lockbox. The code will be sent to guests once the reservation is confirmed. Guests have full access to all rooms in the cabin.

Guests are also welcome to explore all 6 acres of land the cottage sits on- please do not leave any trash or belongings outside on the land. Be respectful of mother nature’s natural splendor.

Other things to note
If you need a check in time earlier than 3pm, please send us a message asking about it. If there isn’t a guest checking out the morning of the day you will be checking in, we may be able to accommodate you earlier- just ask!

If you are running late for your 10am checkout, please let us know ASAP. Our cleaning crew arrives between 10am and 12 pm to clean after your checkout to have the place ready for any guests who may be checking in at 2pm that same day, so depending on how late you are checking out, additional fees may apply.

We are in the woods, there are bugs. We can not be expected to get every spider off the deck before each guest..... We do blow the leafs and tidy up the deck after each guest. If you need any additional cleaning, please just ask!!!!!!

This is a small but functional cozy little cabin. It is one bath, and 1st bedroom has queen bed and second room has futon as well as a couch in livingroom that could be used as extra sleeping area. Sleep 4 comfortably.
Cabin has a full kitchen fully stocked with small appliances, dishes, pots and pans. Coffee and cream and sugar provided. Back deck over looks large fenced yard with firepit. Outside grill and utensils also provided for those of you that enjoy grilling.

The property is two and a half acres and very private. You have access to any and all of the property except the out buildings. They are for our personal supply's.

Other things to note
There is a lot of wild life to be observed on this property as it is wooded. Great for ATVS or just for a private getaway. Perfect for a couple or even a small family. Lots of room for kids to play outside. Back yard is fenced as well as pet doors if your little one happens to be a fur baby. $75 each extra for up to two dogs.

Adult fort in nature with an incredible view & pond access, surrounded by wildlife. The cabin has queen bed, ceiling and box fan ,wall heat, mini-fridge, dry camp toilet with 24/7 access to main bathrooms (roughly 40 ft away). Enjoy your morning cup in the gazebo and take a float in the kayaks.

Welcome to Halfmoon Hideaway, a newly built, cozy cabin located just outside the city limits of Mena, AR. This beautiful cabin can accomodate up to 4 people. Nestled close to hiking and riding trails, stunning lakes, and majestic mountains, as well as local shopping and eateries, this retreat offers the best of both worlds.

The cabin features a charming interior with beautiful pine walls adorned with hand-cut cedar trim.There are two comfortable bedrooms furnished with king and queen beds, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The fully equipped kitchen provides all the essentials, including pots, pans, plates, and silverware, allowing you to prepare your favorite meals. Gather around the pub table for a delightful dining experience or enjoy a leisurely cup of coffee.

The living room welcomes you with an exceptionally comfortable couch and chair, perfect for unwinding and relaxing. Stay connected with the cabin's Wi-Fi and enjoy your favorite shows and movies on the Roku TV. You'll feel right at home in this inviting and well-appointed space.

During your stay, you'll have the entire cabin to yourself, ensuring peace and tranquility. Situated at the end of a lane, with no houses past it, Halfmoon Hideaway offers a quiet atmosphere. The road off the highway is dirt/gravel for approximately 1/3 of a mile, it can be navigated by all vehicles.

While the cabin isn't deep in the woods, it provides a quiet and serene setting at the end of the road. One neighboring property is situated just before reaching Halfmoon Hideaway. There is a newly added partial privacy fence between the cabin and the neighboring property. The cabin location maintains the perfect balance between enjoying Mena's attractions and relishing the peaceful country ambiance.

Check-in is available anytime after 4 pm, and check-out is required by 11 am. Should you require alternate timings outside this window, kindly seek prior approval, as additional fees may apply.

As a guest, you'll have access to the entire cabin and the yard on the right and front sides of the property. Ample parking is available on the left side of the cabin. Enjoy the evenings gathered around the firepit, or perhaps engage in a friendly basketball game.

It's worth mentioning that Halfmoon Hideaway boasts an ideal location. Just a quick five-minute drive will take you to all the conveniences of the city, while still providing a secluded and peaceful retreat. Within a short distance, you'll find hiking and ATV trails, picturesque mountains, and serene lakes, offering ample opportunities for outdoor adventures.

Halfmoon Hideaway has woods on two sides of it. With the woods around, it is possible to see bugs, lizards, and even possibly a snake. The neighbor's dog may even stop by to say hi, although not often. If you are looking for a place without the possibility of seeing a bug or two, or even a snake outside (although it has not happened yet), a place in town may suit you better.

Guests have access to the entire cabin and the yard on both sides of the cabin. Parking is on the left side of the cabin. There is a firepit and even a basketball goal.

Other things to note
This is perfectly located! A five minute drive to all city conveniences but located at the end of the road! Guests can enjoy the outdoors and still travel to town in minutes. Within a short drive to hiking and ATV trails, as well as mountains and lakes.

Halfmoon Hideaway is located 5 minutes from the city limits of Mena, AR near a local private lake (not lakefront). It is on a dead end lane which allows guests a place away from the hustle and bustle of crowds. It is close enough to town to pick up a pizza if you don't want to cook, but set far enough away that you may get a visit by some wildlife if you are lucky!

The AMRock Cabin is a two bedroom , two bathroom beautiful modern rustic cabin that sleeps 8 people comfortably. Besides the two king size beds in the dedicated bedrooms there are two queen size beds. One is in a pull down queen murphy bed, the other is a queen bed in a pull out sofa sleeper. The cabin has a full kitchen with beautiful butcher block counter tops and a farm style sink.

Our goal was to create a space for the entire family. The History of our Cabin started as Hoss's Country Store where we provided a general store for our community and the guests visiting our beautiful area next to the National Forest. We have always felt that taking care of our family and friends were the top priority. We carried that mindset over when we created this special place for families all over to get together and create memories. Come on over and stay with us at Deer Ridge Resort!

The space
The entire building was built by the owner and his family. This was originally a Country Store. The store and the remodel was built by wood that was cut from the land that the cabin is located on. We wanted to showcase a rustic farmhouse modern look and incorporated rough cut pine and cedar accents through out. We went with a open floor plan for the kitchen, dinning room, and two living room areas. We set up the master and guest bedrooms for a bit more privacy. The front porch, side deck, and back porch/gravel patio area, with fire pit, are all set up to give you an option on where you would like to relax.

The Cabin is located off the main high way and is easy to spot and access. Look for our sign that is located in our profile picture. It is not easy to miss!

Other things to note
The Deer Ridge Resort is located approximately 3 miles from the Wolf Pen Gap West trail entry. If you own your own ATVs we have plenty of space for you to park your trailers and you will be able to ride from our property to the trails on on the highway. If you go past the ATV trails you have so much opportunity to see the beautiful National Forest. Hiking, Fishing, Swimming, Hunting, Horseback Riding are all activities that you can experience. Our location is only 7 minutes from the town of Mena where you are able to venture into the old Downtown area that has many locally owned business. Mena is known for the second largest mountain in Arkansas, Rich Mountain, located in the Queen Wilhelmina State Park. We wanted to list a few experiences that you can have while staying with us. Nestled in the Ouachita National Forest, this 4 bedroom 4 bath handicap accessible lodge is the perfect place to stay for a large family or a group of friends! Large parking for several trucks and trailers. Once you're here, unload those rides and park the trailers. you won't need them until time to go home. You can ride to Wolf Pen Gap trailhead from the lodge and the Cossatot river. You also have miles and miles of National Forest roads to ride. Beautiful scenery, wildlife and lots of fun!

The space
This is an amazing space for big groups. The lodge itself can sleep up to 14. Then on the same property, 2 smaller cabins can also be booked by friends /family. You're entire group can stay together in one location. Give us a chance, I bet you'll love it here. Each of our listings have charcoal grills , so don't forget your charcoal and starter.

Sitting on the banks of Bethesda Lake, this cabin is complete with a hot tub, fire pit, cornhole game, the pristine view of heavily stocked Bethesda Lake and the surrounding mountains. Near Mena Arkansas, Bethesda Lakehouse is part of Bethesda Lake Resort & Cabins which was created and owned by Michael & Jessica Myers. Bethesda Lake Resort & Cabins is located on and around Bethesda Lake. Bethesda Lake was constructed in 1925 and was set to be the centerpiece to a resort back in those days, complete with a golf course that was in the original plan. The plan for this resort fell by the wayside and the Great Depression led to the complete collapse of the plan to create the resort back in those days. Moving forward a few years, the Watkins family became the owners of the property and built some smaller cabins and also hosted seasonal swimming for an annual fee. The resort at that time was known as Lake Bethesda Resort. Lake Bethesda Resort closed in the late 60s at the will of the Watkins family at that time. During the following 50 years, minimal maintenance was performed on the property and it became completely ran down. The cabins were bulldozed and the beauty of the lake and surrounding property became covered in unsightly brush. Roll forward to 2019, Michael & Jessica Myers (owners of Bethesda Springs Properties), purchased Bethesda Lake and the surrounding land with a passionate vision to restore the property to it's original glory, and maybe take it to a level that is even better. Michael & Jessica, with the help of local craftsmen, began bringing their vision to life with the construction of cabins on or near the lake. Today, Bethesda Lake Resort & Cabins is comprised of 300 acres and 10 cabins and there are other cabins in the construction plans that will be constructed on surrounding mountaintops. These mountain cabins will have views that rival the Smokey Mountains - stay tuned! Bethesda Lakehouse is the original cabin on the lake. In 2020, the cabin was completely stripped and made new again. We welcome you to book this cabin and experience it, feel the love that was poured into the restoration of this cabin. You will absolutely love the cabin, lake and surrounding area. This is a NO GROUCH CABIN. If you are hateful, rude or just plain mean, please rent somewhere else. We only want to deal with nice, fun people looking to enjoy their vacation. (seriously :) )
