are welcome at no extra charge, but must be fully house trained, well behaved and kept on leads in the unenclosed front grounds for their safety, as there are cats about and a road. There is an enclosed rear patio and numerous walks from the cottage, where dogs can be off their leads. Please do not leave dogs alone in the cottage.

Cyclists can join the Brunel cycleway 1 mile from the cottage or explore the many cycle routes in the area and secure their bikes at the cottage.

Due to steps leading to the property, the only toilet and bathroom on the ground floor and the cottage not being wheelchair accessible, we regret that we would not recommend this cottage to guests with limited mobility.

Hayguard Barn is a traditional stone built barn, constructed of old red sandstone which is a special feature of old local Pembrokeshire barns. It was converted back in the late 90s from a calves-cott and barley store loft .Offering spacious accommodation for 6+2 (2 at an extra cost). It occupies a beautiful private setting overlooking the pond and is naturally separated from the working part of the farm.The barn overlooks the pond with an array of wildlife. A spacious upside down house. The bedrooms and bathrooms are downstairs and upstairs is open plan living. Its uniqueness includes hand made ceramic tiles and pieces inspired by the sea, which can be seen around every corner of the barn. Including coiled and slab built sinks and light fittings made on site. It is designed to make maximum use of the light and space.

This farm, close to the wonderful Pembrokeshire beaches and the old port town of Milford Haven, has been in the family for generations. And it is the family who make it special. It is off the A4076 main road, which makes it an easy drive from the A40 of Haverfordwest, or the A477 from Pembroke Dock which takes you over the Cleddau bridge with the spectacular views of the Cleddau estuary and the ports of both Pembroke Dock where you might catch a glimpse of the Irish Ferry on its journey to and from Rosslare, Ireland, and Milford Haven.
When you arrive you will see the lawns and farmyard garden flow into the rich vegetation around the large pond with it’s water lilies and Irises. Around this area you may be greeted by our very friendly dogs Rodney, Madge, Mavis and Mostin. But if are unsure about them, we can put them away.
Check in at the farmhouse, then wander past the hens, and the waddling ducks, into your home for your holiday.
Just below your holiday home, just opposite the pond, you will see the Pond Studio, once a working farm workshop, which was once filled with old vintage tractors such as Nuffield and Fordson. Then it was transformed into a ceramic studio, where all the pieces you will see inside the barn were produced. There are still some there, some finished, some unfinished, but sadly none are for sale.
Today it's a Music, Games studio. One side, is a electric organ and piano, which can be used, but only under strict supervision with very young children.
The other side of the studio is a multi games table, which can be transformed from a Pool Table, to an Air Hockey Table and a Table Tennis Table, very popular with all ages, and perfect for those wet summer days or for those days when you would rather just relax in the barn .
On the wall is a TV which is connected to Sky Freesat, Bluray player, Surround sound system and a Nintendo Wii.
Below the TV, you will see an array of games for the wii and DVDs for all ages to watch and play.
Outside the barn is a hot tub. Introduced in 2021. a 6 seater cotswold eco, which is heated completely from fire wood. It is full of water ready for your use, you just need to heat it. Takes 2 hours to heat from cold, and hour to heat on consecutive nights. There is a charge of £10 per back of 12kg for the wood. This amount should be enough to heat at the beginning. Half of the amount should be enough when the water is lukewarm. It can be lit on your arrival, but most want o lit it themselves to get the full experience, but the kindling is already there to lit.
We charge for the wood for its use, as it is not included in the nightly rate, as not everyone wishes to use it.

- "The house was so lovely we could have spent the whole time there! Scenic grounds, garden for kids, playroom. Hot tub after nightfall, we’ve never seen so many stars! We’ll stocked kitchen (thank you coffee machine!), plenty of space for board games. Beautiful ceramic stoneware and tiles. Really helped us unplug from devices. Day trips: Dramway trail bike ride with kids ending at Saundersfoot beach. You have to see it to believe it, amazing views. National trust site Stackpole Quay and best beach in Wales Barafundle bay. Thank you for viewing our apartment and in these uncertain times we wanted to inform you of changes we have made to our booking and cleaning policies.
The first change is that new guests will be unable to arrive until 15:00 on the same day as guests depart, this will ensure we have sufficient time to implement our revised cleaning and sanitising policies. The second change is that the facility to "instant book" has been temporarily suspended, this policy will be reviewed when appropriate.
Whilst we have always prided ourselves on the cleanliness of the apartment we have implemented the following procedures to enhance that. We have based this upon guidance from Public Health Wales: our Holiday Let Insurers and Home and Away:

1. Wooden floors will be steam cleaned between stays
2. All surfaces, furniture and devices such as remote controls etc will be cleaned and sanitised
3. Crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils will be cleaned, regardless if they had been used or not
4. Bedding and towels will be washed at a temperature of at least 60 degrees
5. Door handles, key safes and other high use areas will be cleaned and then sanitised
6. Particular attention will be given to sanitising the bathroom area
7. We will endeavor to provide disposable paper towels, hand sanitiser etc for your personal use, there will also be a range of sanitising cleaning materials provided
8. Weather permitting; windows will be left open as this will help reduce disinfectant odours that some guests may be allergic to

For the foreseeable future it is possible that not all attractions will be open, so we suggest you check before booking if traveling for a specific event/attraction.

Centrally located for access to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path, children's attractions such as Oakwood and Folly Farm are within a 25-minute drive. Our apartment is spacious, bright and modern. The prestigious award winning Torch Theatre is a ten-minute walk offering both theatre productions and cinema, a few times a year films are shown in an outside cinema. From April to September boat trips operate from the marina to surrounding areas.

The marina holds events during June to celebrate Pembrokeshire Fish Week with a range of stalls serving fresh fish and other attractions. During November a renowned Jazz Festival is held in Tenby, attracting musicians from around the world.

- "We stayed in the apartment the previous month so knew what to expect. We were not disappointed and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The apartment was clean and well equipped and is ideally placed for all the restaurants. We will certainly use again." - "Check in was problematic. Luckily I was able to contact VRBO and they patched me through to the owner whoo was away on holiday.After we got the correct codes everything went fine. The place looks out at the harbor and is located within walking distance to several restaurants. We stayed in Milford Have to have a base to visit Skomer Island and the puffin colony. I would love to give 5 stars across the board, but as I was recovering from heart trouble, we only went out during the day, & I simply had to lay down each evening, as the tablets make me so lethargic - which left little room for my husband, who always then had the corner end of the corner settee, which made watching TV a bit difficult. If there were 4 adults (it sleeps 5) it might have been tight! Everywhere else in this lovely barn conversion was very roomy. The adjoining property had a small fenced in garden, which would have suited us more, seeing as we always holiday with our two dogs, it would be nice to sit outside knowing they were totally safe. All in all, a beautiful restored holiday home, in a beautiful area (nearby Marina had a lovely restaurant) as did Milford Haven Marina."

- "Everything about the coach house is exceptional. The welcome by Dympna and Bill was great and the coach house itself is remarkable in the care and detail to make it wonderfully comfortable. I could say so many things about how good it is but a real measure is how things are handled when things go wrong. We arrived mid afternoon on Friday and when we got up on Saturday at 9am, we found that we had no central heating or hot water. Bearing in mind that this was the day before Christmas Eve, we felt that we would have to return home. Dympna,howeever, had telephoned an engineer and he arrived at 10am. Peter, the engineer took two visits during the day to solve the problem and by 4.30 pm, everything was working perfectly- incredible, as I said, the day before Christmas Eve. We had experienced a tough year and needed a "Christmas Cottage" to help us to relax and the Coach House with it's wonderful Christmas decorations was a triumph for us and a real triumph for Dympna and Bill"

Cartref Antur is a comfortably modern 3 bedroom house, ideal for couples and families wanting to relax on the stunning Pembrokeshire coast. This home is the perfect place to dive into a thrilling adventure or get away from it all and just cozy up in front of the wood burning fire after a soak in the hot tub.

Occupying an enviable position in the village of Herbrandston, and overlooking the rolling countryside, this lovely holiday home has its own private enclosed garden, hot tub and decked area for al fresco dining.
The village itself is close to the popular sandy haven beach, which occupies a unique position on the Milford Haven waterway, an estuary forming a natural harbour popular with sailors. Sandy Haven, which won a Seaside Award, is also part of the Pembrokeshire Coastal path and boasts excellent tidepooling for budding explorers, a slipway, free parking and the beach is also dog friendly year round!

Cartref Antur was thoroughly modernised recently so you can expect a high quality finish and we hope you will be delighted during your stay.

Upon arrival you can expect to find a welcome basket to keep your tummy from rumbling. We will tailor this basket for dietary requirements, of course.

Kitchen: All essential kitchen equipment, including a large 6 burner stove and double oven. If you love to cook you will enjoy this kitchen. Don't worry about clean-up - there's a dishwasher!

Kid Stuff: The house is equipped with all the essentials for traveling with small children. You will find a travel cot, 2 toddler mattresses, 1 high chair, 1 toddler booster seat, kids cutlery and dishes, fire guard, hot tub safety lock, and baby gates at the top and bottom of the stairs, as well as some toys and books.

Dog Stuff: The house has the basic essentials for your four-legged friend including water and food bowls, space for a crate at the bottom of the stairs and a doggy gate - dogs are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture.

A beautifully presented two bed apartment overlooking the picturesque marina with breathtaking views across the Milford Haven waterways. This stylish apartment has recently been renovated to a high standard with its own private balcony off the open plan living room and kitchen to enjoy the spectacular Pembrokeshire sunsets. Local Area

There are plenty of restaurants, bars, art galleries, nautical museums, beauticians, hair salons and gift shops within the Marina. Tescos supermarket is a short walk away and there's a local cinema/theatre in the town centre. Milford Haven is a good base to explore all that Pembrokeshire has to offer. You are within easy reach of Blue Flag Beaches, visitor attractions such as Oakwood and Folly Farm, plus the county town of Haverfordwest is only 8 miles away.

Getting there

From the town to the A4076 along Hamilton Terrace onto Victoria Road. Just before the roundabout turn left onto Nelson Quay, Orion House is on the right hand side opposite foam and the carpark.

This top floor beautifully furnished apartment sleeps six across three bedrooms with views over looking the Marina and being surrounded with views and restaurants in the heart of Pembrokeshire what is not to love.

As you enter the apartment you enter the hallway. On the right you have a twin bedroom and then a double bedroom. At the end of the hallway you have the family bathroom with shower, toilet and hand basin.

As you leave the hallway you enter an open plan lounge, kitchen and diner. The kitchen has everything you would need from a Nespresso machine to a dishwasher and washer/dryer. All the cooking utensils are provided.
The lounge has plenty of room for you all to relax across three large velvet sofas. Take your pick wether you gaze out of the french door windows over looking the Marina or to watch the 55 inch flat screen T.V. The dining area offers seating for six.

Up the stairs from the lounge you find an open mezzanine homing a king sized double bedroom with an en-suite shower room.

The historic town of Pembroke is a ten-minute drive away and made famous for its medieval castle and the birth of King Henry the VII. It is well worth the visit to step back in time and take in the glorious views around the mill pond and the town. Travelling further south you can reach the National Trust run Stackpole Estate where you take a stroll through Bosherston lily ponds and out to Broadhaven South Beach. Be sure to visit Barafundle Bay, one of the Europe’s most stunning beaches too. Locally there is a selection of family attractions all within a short drive, including Folly Farm, Oakwood Theme Park, Heatherton World of Activities and Manor House Wildlife Park.

The outdoor furniture is badly worn in places - the inner decor needs an uplift and although the interior furniture looks lovely it is uncomfortable - There was only one dishwasher tablet, no hairdryer and we ran out of gas on day 2, bedroom 2 is small dark and was dirty with dust all over the bedside lamps, the housekeeping needs much more attention to detail, not what we expected. We felt the property was similar to a high end caravan and as such, is overpriced. You would have to be very fit to walk down to the pub, The Jolly Sailor, in fifteen minutes and as for walking back up the long hills in fifteen minutes I feel this is very optomistic. All in all a lovely peaceful location but grossly overpriced and needs some attention to bring it up to the standard we expected for the price we paid."

Doors from the lounge open into a small study from where there is access across a bridge to the rear lawn. Follow the steep stone steps up from the lawn to the summerhouse.

The Pembrokeshire Coastal Path is on your doorstep and a short walk away along this is the local pub, great for bar meals in the conservatory overlooking the Waterway. Various boat trips leave from the Marina - Shearwater Safaris, trips to the bird islands of Skomer and Grassholm, Dale Sea Safari Wildlife Adventures, Pembrokeshire Cruising as well as trips exploring the inland ’Secret Waterway’ with its quiet inlets, waterside pubs and restaurants.

Brunel Cycle Trail, starting (or ending) at Neyland Marina Brunel’s Trail is part of the Celtic Trail from Chepstow to Fishguard via Swansea. Traffic-free and well signed, with some gentle climbs, this is a popular shared-use path which links Neyland, once the western terminus of Brunel’s Great Western Railway, with Johnston and Haverfordwest. The Trail follows the picturesque Cleddau Estuary through Westfield Pill Nature Reserve, along the now disused Great Western Railway line to Johnston and then north to Haverfordwest along a path which runs parallel to the railway.
