- "This facility came in clutch for me and my family on a long road trip. We had to leave our previous hotel after walking in and checking the beds for bed bugs turned up bed bug stains. We ran out of there as fast as we could but had nowhere to go. The kind woman on staff at the counter was extremely helpful and put us on the 3rd floor at my request even though it was 10 o clock at night and we believe the room to have been a bit of an upgrade from what we had hastily booked on the drive over. Her kindness was an extremely welcome and appreciated show of hospitality for us tired travelers. The room was spotless and the AC worked well to cool it down quickly. The Candlewood offered us a perfect night of sleep and all the amenities in the room we could have possibly needed. I can't say enough good about this hotel. The only thing I'd change is the lack of offering for a Continental breakfast. However, the friendliness, service, hospitality and terrific nights sleep were well worth the price of an admission and we would return for another stay in a heartbeat. - "My husband and I came into town to visit family and stayed here for a whole week and it was perfect. The cabin was just what we were looking for. -less than 5-10 minutes to Lake Cypress, Walleye Park, Overlook Park and the Cove Restaurant which is right on the lake and ~12min to Mt Vernon and the grocery store. - Brand new cabin with a full kitchen and everything needed to cook. Gas grill worked amazingly too. -There was a handheld shower hose (instead of just a fixed wall showerhead) in the shower which was awesome bc that’s a must for me to wash my long hair! -The king size bed was comfortable w plenty of pillows. - The AC units (2) were easily adjustable and kept the place nice and cool, which is imperative in a Texas summer! - The covered porch was so nice to sit and enjoy a cold drink w a nice ceiling fan to keep ya cool. We didn’t use the fireplace but I can imagine it would be SO NICE in the Fall/Winter. - The onsite laundry facility was brand new and so convenient. 4 commercial washers and dryers that you could pay for either w quarters or the PayRange App. They worked great and everything was clean. We didn’t use the shower facility (there were several individual, completely private showers (6?) but I looked into one and it had beautiful tile and was very clean and smelled sanitized. The area was quiet and we felt very safe. Jennifer and her husband were very welcoming and we just felt like part of the family! We would definitely stay again and I highly recommend The Pines RV And Cabins Resort."

This rustic retreat has an outdoor grill and large seating area on the front porch and small sitting area on the back porch. The open layout of this cabin offers a full kitchen and bathroom, a sunlit living area with indoor fire place smart TV and WIFI. The bathroom is accessible through hallway to the master bedroom and bunk area. Master bedroom has a smart TV and a queen sized bed with dresser and hanging hooks. The loft includes 2 twin sized beds with bean bags and games for kids! This cabin also has a set of bunk beds in the hallway leading to the master bedroom! This cabin comfortably sleeps two adults and four children.

- "Beautiful cabin, clean and had everything we needed. Relaxing stay away from the city:)" - "We stayed for 2 nights to attend a wedding. The loft includes two twin sized beds with beanbags and games for kids! This cabin comfortably sleeps two adults and four children. This is also the only cabin with a built in washer and dryer!
