HILLBORNE COTTAGE is a self-contained two bedroom cottage in the beautiful Perth Hills at Sawyers Valley. Hillborne borders on, with safe easy access, to the Railway Reserves Heritage Trail, the KEP Track (walk, cycle horse ride) and the National Trust Golden Pipeline Heritage Drive (Mundaring Weir to Kalgoorlie) and Alps Reserve.

The cottage is perfectly situated for bush walkers, cyclists, and horse riders with numerous tracks and trails all within a stone's throw of "Hillborne", about 5 mins drive, 15 mins off road cycle ride from Mundaring and 45 minutes from Perth. The Munda Biddi Trail, one of the worlds longest off road cycle trails starts in Mundaring.

The cottage, has very comfortable two bedroom accommodation with a queen bed and a second bedroom with two king singles. It has a fully equipped kitchen, sitting and dining area with TV, DVD player, reverse cycle air-conditioning in the living areas, fans in the bedrooms. A large veranda with BBQ to enjoy the beautiful views over the valley and the spectacular glow of the last rays of the sun disappearing up the gum trees.

- "We had a wonderful weekend at Mount Olive Studio with our dog Winx. We all enjoyed the beautiful gardens, bush tracks, streams and wildlife such as kangaroos, baby ducks and what we are pretty sure was a barn owl! Winx was very excited about exploring and enjoying the smells, and it was a very rare treat to have such an area all to ourselves. We enjoyed sitting outside in the early evening taking in the light and drinking a nice wine. The studio itself was very comfortable and well equipped for self-catering. I forgot some of my warm clothes but it was fine as there is a warm fire, an electric blanket on the bed and some lovely fluffy blankets for snuggling on the couch. We had a lovely time and would love to return, particularly at a time when the garden is in full bloom. Tip for nearby activities - the Parkerville Tavern looks very good, but unfortunately for us the dog friendly area was full when we arrived for lunch, so we went to the Mundaring Hotel instead which is not too far away, has a large dog friendly beer garden and good food 👍"

Tillbrook Cottage is fully self-contained and sleeps up to 6 guests. The cottage has two bedrooms with a queen bed, two king-singles and a double sofa bed. Fully self-contained and sleeping up to a maximum of 8, the unit is perfect for two people looking for a weekend getaway or for a larger family or group of friends there are 3 queen size bedrooms and an additional bathroom available. The master bedroom has a king size bed en-suite. The living and dining room adjoin the self contained kitchen in open plan. Be advised there is NO oven in kitchen.

The apartment has reverse cycle air-conditioned and linked by verandah off main house to heated pool, ( in summer only) BBQ deck and tennis court.
Fire Pit: We are happy to supply wood for your first night - after that wood can be purchased by the bag from the garage or Glen Forrest IGA. Please obey fire restrictions.
There is ample secure parking in a gated yard. Parkerville Equestrian Center is just 700m away through the trees.

There is free WIFI and the Unit yard is fenced for pets.
