- "Check in was fantastic. When we got to the room we noticed the toilet seat was broke but still useable so we didn’t complain. We had dinner at the restaurant attached and the food was absolutely amazing. Upon going back to the room, which we had a king size bed, we noticed that the pillows, although very neatly placed were no bigger than the throw pillows on my couch at home. My only suggestion would be to please invest in some actual bed pillows as there is a Walmart right next door. For a king size room we thought it would have king size pillows. That’s the only complaint we had. Upon checking out I did inform the young lady and she was very apologetic and shocked that I didn’t complain about the toilet seat sooner, but like I said it was useable. "

- "Property is under renovation. I had seen negative reviews, so called ahead and got directions, as the hotel currently does not have a sign and is difficult to find. It is behind a Wendy's just off the highway. Staff is very friendly and helpful, by deluxe room had a working tv with cable, refridgerator, microwave, and coffeemaker. Bathroom fully equipped and all areas clean if showing wear. For the extremely reasonable (low) price, I was very pleased. Only issue was that there were no USB hookups in the room. A cozy cottage located in a secluded valley just 20 minutes south of interstate 80 and just a short drive from Starved Rock State Park.

The house has a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, 2 burner hot plate, coffeepot, minimal cooking and eating utensils. A full bath with tub/shower and an additional powder room.

Three bedrooms with sleeping capacity of 6-8 people. Upstairs bedroom contains one double bed and two single beds, the lower bedroom contains one double bed and one single bed and the loft above the kitchen contains one single bed.

All of our rental properties are located at Pilgrim Park Camp and Conference Center. The camp is on 150 acres of mostly forested land with two creeks and a fair sized pond which both provide ample oppertunities for fishing. We are alsonjust a short drive from the Hennepin Canal State Parkway which has a family friendly bike path and even more areas for fishing.

Higgins lodge is located just 20 minutes south of interstate 80 in a secluded valley. The lodge offers a peaceful and relaxing get-away for single and multi-family outings and is just a short drive from Starved Rock State Park.

The lodge sleeps up to 11 people in 5 bedrooms with 2 twin-sized beds each and 1 bedroom with 1 twin-sized bed. There are four full bathrooms each with a step in shower, sink, mirror and toilet. The living room includes several couches, TV/DVD player, 3/4 size refrigerator, microwave, coffee pot, large toaster oven and a dining area with table and chairs to seat up to 11. Guests staying in Higgins have access to a charcoal grill
, a fire ring with benches and an outdoor sink. Each booking includes one small load of fire wood and fire starting supplies free of charge, additional loads can be purchased on site for a small fee.

Outside on the patio you will find a hot tub, grill area, seating area, fire table and a cornhole court. We are located in the center of Princeton on Main Street and you can easily walk to the north end or south end for shopping, dining, and bars.

- "We were in the area for a family birthday celebration. Four couples shared the house, which meant two couples shared the bedroom with two double beds. The bunk room and trundle bed would be best used by kiddos or people who are willing to share close quarters. Would be great for families with children. The property was immaculately clean and has top-end appliances. The outdoor space is just amazing! We used the hot tub, gas fire pit, outdoor half bath/shower and front porch. Some of our group played pinball (the ceiling in basement is pretty low). It would be a great place to host a party, but be aware you would need to get approval and event insurance to have non-guests on the property. It is easy to drive into Princeton or out to Lake Thunderbird (where our family gathering took place). Tiskilwa is a friendly little town."

It is 25 minutes from Princeton, 30 minutes from Dixon, and 35 minutes from LaSalle-Peru. There are several local bar-and-grills within a 15-minute drive from the farmhouse.

Located at Pilgrim Park, the retreat center has a full ten bedrooms each with two beds and a full sized bathroom. Attached to the bedroom wing is our large meeting space with an attached chapel. Both spaces can be setup with tables and chairs or with lobby style furniture, depending on the needs of the renter. The lower level of the center has a kitchenette with two refrigerators, sink, toaster oven, microwave and plenty of tables and chairs.

Pilgrim Park Camp and Conference Center sits on a 150 acre plot and is just 15 minutes off of interstate 80 in a secluded and wooded valley. We encourage all our customers to take time to walk our paths and trail, enjoy fishing in our creek or pond, or just relax on one of our decks and enjoy the peace and quiet. The park is just 25 minutes from Starved Rock State Park and 5 minutes from the Hennepin Canal State Parkway, both of which provide great opportunities for easy outings.
