Three bedrooms that include the loft all with queen beds will sleep six. Additional sleeping areas will accommodate air beds (provided). The property is suitable for a family adventure, couples' retreat or a friends weekend. This smoke free cabin has 2 bedrooms, and 1 bath with living room and kitchen. One bedroom has a queen size bed, and the other has two twin beds. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need to easily prepare a meal. A full size propane grill sits just outside. All linens and towels are provided, as well as complimentary toiletries. We do not charge a cleaning fee.

The cabin is equipped with a keyless entry making your arrival and departure seamless. Fiber optic high speed internet allows you to stay connected and upload all of your vacation pictures. The 40 inch smart tv allows you to stream your favorite platforms. We offer Disney+ and FUBO.

Our personal home sits on the property. We will not intrude on your privacy, but will be available for any questions or concerns. We have many recommendations on places to eat, shop and explore.

After a long day of adventure, return to enjoy an evening listening to song birds, watching for wildlife, and taking in the beautiful Black Hills. As day turns to night, star gazing is made easy without the interference of artificial lights. If you are looking for more adventure, access to the Black Hills National Forest trails, and The Mickelson Trail are both located within a mile of the property.

Feel free to bring your side by sides or motorcycles. We have plenty of additional space for trailers. We also have a 50 amp full hook up RV site available. We do not rent the RV space on a regular basis. It is reserved for friends and family meeting up or traveling together.

Departing Argyle Acres in any direction leads to amazing Black Hills adventures. We are centrally located between Custer State Park, (the Nation's second largest state park,) Wind Cave National Park, and Jewel Cave National Monument. These locations are among the most popular attractions in the Black Hills. Hot Springs to the south offers the Mammoth Site, (an active archeological dig,) and Moccasin Springs, (a natural mineral spring and spa.) Traveling north you will find Crazy Horse Memorial and Mount Rushmore Memorial. If day trips are of interest to you, Badlands National Park to the East, and Devils Tower National Monument to the West are well worth the trip.

Close and easy access to Custer State Park -- scenic Needles Highway, Sylvan Lake and several other beautiful lakes, Mount Rushmore, Evans Plunge, Mammoth Site, Angostura Lake, Badlands National Park, Buffalo Gap National Grasslands. King bed in one bedroom, second bedroom has a queen bed. These two bedrooms are roomy enough for pac and play, or to make bed on floor for toddlers.

Third bedroom has a queen bed and bunkbeds with full mattresses. Bunkbed has sturdy steps, not a ladder. There’s also an extra rail that sits on original rail of bed that can be used for young children.

All three bedrooms have ceiling fans, room darkening curtains and split unit air conditioning unit (no noisy fans). Each bedroom has its own control for heat and cooling. The bedrooms are on the second floor and there is a door from second floor hallway to patio area to enjoy views. The bedrooms are assessable from outside to load/unload luggage or to help with handicapped guests get to bedrooms.

Bathroom has full walk-in shower.

Air conditioning, fiber internet wifi with additional booster units, satellite TV, Weber bbq grill. Cove heating in bedrooms and in-floor heating on first floor.

The property borders Black Hills National Forest, therefore building a FIRE is NOT ALLOWED. Out of respect to future renters PETS and SMOKING are NOT ALLOWED.

For the allergy and smell sensitive -- We are original owners of this home (finished in 2021) and there has never been pets, smoking, or use of scented candles in this home. Nor has there been water damage, therefore no musty, moldy smells. Bedding and Towels are washed with Tide Free.

Washer and dryer. Laundry room includes a large table for folding, drying racks, hanging clothes bar and clothes hangers.

Our guests have enjoyed their stay and were amazed at the beauty and quiet.

- "Unfortunately there was a bug infestation not their fault, but difficult to deal with, mice in room, and the air condition would not work, however they hooked us up with a temporary unit which cooled the room nicely, but the bugs in the room were bad on the last night. - "Probably one of the cleanest hotels rooms we have EVER stayed in. Excellent room with a huge smart TV, cushioned carpet, two different sinks, hot water, good wifi, and a microwave mini fridge. The only downside to this stay is the location. It is incredibly far away from Custer (and attractions) and a large portion of the drive to the hotel is gravel roads."
