The only suggestion I would have is to have a broom/dustpan and some countertop spray available for daily tidy-ups. Suggestions: - I was not accustomed to cooking with an electric stove, so I set off the fire alarm one day when cooking because I had the heat too high - I am 5'7", so the ceiling height was not an issue for me, however, as a previous guest mentioned, if you are taller than the 6' range, you may be a little uncomfortable. - The neighborhood was very walkable if you just wanted to go for a stroll, however, I highly suggest renting a car if you need to run errands. For us, it was a cheaper option due to the ride-share and Instacart strikes. - The laundry machines are through the door by the bed. You just need to ask the Owner to unlock the door."

Each bedroom provides ample closet storage with LED lights, dimmers, and magnificent 8' sliding doors that goes out to a paved, extra-large patio (full disclosure: often visited by our pretty chickens).

Spacious, modern shower-only bathroom with a wonderful bidet, a beautiful copper vessel sink and waterfall faucet along with oil-rubbed bronze fixtures. There is a lovely foldable teak shower bench for physical assistance for our/your parents (or shaving your legs!).

There is oodles of natural sunlight in our new home and you can gaze out any of the large windows to admire the fruit trees and enjoy the company of our beautiful, free-range chickens. The enviable chef's dream kitchen boasts brand new appliances and phenomenal fixtures: 6-burner gas stove, Wifi-enabled 4-door refrigerator, dishwasher with timer, microwave, and a super efficient toaster oven. The exquisite farmhouse copper kitchen sink, bronze faucet with pull-out handle, garbage disposal are surrounded by the cool intergalactic black and white granite countertops with a azure backsplash for pop.

Finally, the expansive sliding patio doors lead you out to the large beautifully paved patio, perfect for BBQs and small gatherings. 3) Absolutely NO SMOKING or BURNING of any kind (tobacco, vaping, marijuana (even MMJ)), illicit substances, or candles anywhere inside the house or on the premises.

Great walking score, hospital-centric (for our fellow medicine folks), friendly, clean, safe neighborhood. Off-leash dog park at Stulsaft is just one mile away. Lots of dining, shopping, and sightseeing within walking distance! If you want to hop in your car, you'll be just two miles from the 101 and 280 highways to get to the coast/beach at Half Moon Bay, south to Palo Alto, Mountain View, San Jose, Monterey Bay. Or go north to San Francisco, Napa Valley.

We had to stay within 15 miles of Stanford Hospital for our cancer treatment and this was the place that we picked. The interior was fantastically clean and new. Having separate areas like the living room and kitchen and the bedroom really helped with my husband’s healing. Having a walk-in shower was just like home. We also had access to the housekeeper. The owners were very easy to get a hold of if there were any problems. Their response time was in a timely manner, usually within an hour.
