Storage for clothes, suitcase, & other items in built-in closets in entry area and studio unit. Approx. 500 S.F. in a completely detached living unit with patio and yard space. There is also a high quality queen sized sleeper sofa-bed in addition to the memory foam bed.

We are 25 miles from San Jose and 25 miles from San Francisco. Right in the middle of the peninsula for convenient access to all the Bay Area has to offer.

The space
Studio/cottage with private entrance. 15 minutes away from Stanford University and near Silicon Valley. Only 25 miles from San Francisco too! This lovely, clean cottage is located one-half block away from Stafford Park in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood. The nearest CalTrain station (Redwood City stop) is less than one mile away or a short 10-15 min walk. This station provides easy access to San Francisco, San Francisco- SFO or San Jose- SJC airports. Nearby is a great downtown Redwood City area as well with restaurants, shops and a movie theater in addition to the multitude of city-sponsored summer movies, events and music performances near City Hall. There is street parking and it is not difficult to find a spot.

We provide coffee beans, grinder along with all the other coffee fixins. The cottage has great natural light with large windows and a queen bed made up with new linens, a down comforter along with extra pillows and blankets.

Kitchen amenities include stove, microwave, mini-fridge, freezer and garbage disposal as well as dishes, utensils and some basic cookware. Bath towels and some incidentals are included.

Additionally, this quiet, private space is equipped with a full bath, 50" LED TV, secure WiFi, and a large closet.

If you have (small) kids, we have a pack n play in the closet.

Please no smoking in the cottage or around the outside of the cottage.

The space
This freestanding studio is located next to the owners main house and has it's own private entrance. The bright unit is nestled in the Peninsula Hills and is at the end of a cul-de-sac on a quiet, tree-lined street. The studio has great natural light with large windows and a sliding glass door that opens onto a lovely deck. Views of the bay and mountains can be seen in the distance.

It features a queen bed made up with fresh linens, a down comforter and 4 pillows and blanket. The unit was recently renovated, including a new bathroom (vanity, tile floors, standing shower) and new carpet throughout. The unit is equipped with bath and pool towels, a hair dryer, iron and some incidentals. The windows are all equipped with blackout curtains.

The studio is near Silicon Valley, about 15 minutes away from Stanford University, and only 25 miles from San Francisco (which can be easily accessed by the Caltrain stop in Redwood City). Nearby is the great downtown Redwood City area with restaurants, shops and a movie theater. While there is public transportation available downtown, we recommend renting a car if you want to get around easily in the Bay Area and on the Peninsula.

We provide a mini-fridge, as well as coffee maker and all the other coffee fixings. There is a 30" LED TV with cable (Xfinity 160 channel package), secure WiFi, and a large closet.

There is plenty of free parking in our private driveway.

Please no smoking in the studio or on any of the grounds of the property.

**We do have our own dogs but they are not allowed in the yard by the studio off leash.**

Accessibility: This studio has a standard width staircase with about 15 steps required for entry. The entrance is across the grass, on occasion the solar lights are dim or dark.

Sometimes in the mornings, the garage door will be opened and closed. The studio is right above the garage.
