Studio/cottage with private entrance. 15 minutes away from Stanford University and near Silicon Valley. Only 25 miles from San Francisco too! This lovely, clean cottage is located one-half block away from Stafford Park in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood. The nearest CalTrain station (Redwood City stop) is less than one mile away or a short 10-15 min walk. This station provides easy access to San Francisco, San Francisco- SFO or San Jose- SJC airports. Nearby is a great downtown Redwood City area as well with restaurants, shops and a movie theater in addition to the multitude of city-sponsored summer movies, events and music performances near City Hall. There is street parking and it is not difficult to find a spot.
We provide coffee beans, grinder along with all the other coffee fixins. The cottage has great natural light with large windows and a queen bed made up with new linens, a down comforter along with extra pillows and blankets.
Kitchen amenities include stove, microwave, mini-fridge, freezer and garbage disposal as well as dishes, utensils and some basic cookware. Bath towels and some incidentals are included.
Additionally, this quiet, private space is equipped with a full bath, 50" LED TV, secure WiFi, and a large closet.

This freestanding studio is located next to the owners main house and has it's own private entrance. The bright unit is nestled in the Peninsula Hills and is at the end of a cul-de-sac on a quiet, tree-lined street. The studio has great natural light with large windows and a sliding glass door that opens onto a lovely deck. Views of the bay and mountains can be seen in the distance.
It features a queen bed made up with fresh linens, a down comforter and 4 pillows and blanket. The unit was recently renovated, including a new bathroom (vanity, tile floors, standing shower) and new carpet throughout. The unit is equipped with bath and pool towels, a hair dryer, iron and some incidentals. The windows are all equipped with blackout curtains.
The studio is near Silicon Valley, about 15 minutes away from Stanford University, and only 25 miles from San Francisco (which can be easily accessed by the Caltrain stop in Redwood City). Nearby is the great downtown Redwood City area with restaurants, shops and a movie theater. While there is public transportation available downtown, we recommend renting a car if you want to get around easily in the Bay Area and on the Peninsula.
We provide a mini-fridge, as well as coffee maker and all the other coffee fixings. There is a 30" LED TV with cable (Xfinity 160 channel package), secure WiFi, and a large closet.
There is plenty of free parking in our private driveway.

Cute detached two bedroom upstairs apartment set back from the street. Located above the storage garage, so no shared walls with neighbors. Lots of windows and A/C units in both bedrooms to keep it cool during the summer. The kitchen features a full-sized refrigerator, microwave and an electric range and oven. We allow dogs only. There will be a $75 per pet fee. Please check for breed and size restrictions before booking.

~BEDROOMS-- you'll find no less than two pillows per person--with a variety of thicknesses and styles. There will always be plenty of extra blankets. We offer fleece blankets, down duvets, down alternative duvets, coverlets, throw blankets. Again, if you're not finding something you were hoping for, just message us.

The Airbnb Policy requires that guests show a respect for the home and are expected to leave it in relatively the same condition they found the home.
~~~~~~~~~~~~ENERGY CRISIS~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
California is in an energy crisis. The expectation is that you will conform to the state suggestion for in home temperature maintenance. The thermostat is pre programmed. Winter: between 68-72 daytime, lower at night. Summer: 75-78 in the daytime, nighttime will never be a problem (our temperatures really dip at night, even in summer) If you consume excessive amounts of energy and the bill is more than $10 per day, the excess can be charged separately. In our experience, if people run heaters or A/C at extreme temperatures it could cost an additional $15-$25+ per day.
Please look at the pictures carefully to see the home set up. Each bedroom is detailed with the number and size of the beds. The captions add extra detail. We have extra beds, mattresses and air mattresses that can be brought into the common area of the home to accommodate larger groups. The living room and family room beds will not be made up, unless you make a specific, timely request. We have plenty of extra linens and blankets for you to do it yourself, but if you'd like our staff to set the beds up, you'll have to let us know.

We have pledged to pay our cleaners a Living Wage. We strive to provide you with a clean home; keeping your cleaning fee low, while respecting our local labor force. Our basic cleaning service includes cleaning and sanitizing the home and laundering the sheets and towels. It does not include a daily linen service or a deep cleaning, nor does it include washing mounds of dishes, scrubbing pots and pans, flattening piles of shipping boxes, cleaning a greasy stove with burnt on food, removing food or smoke odors, etc.
The cleaning fee should actually be called a turnover fee or something similar. If you want to exercise the right to leave a mess, just know that you will be charged to return the home to the state you received it.

We do not have the staff or time to assist in deliveries. You cannot use the home address to receive mail. Many of our homes have the mailbox removed. The State of California expects residents to act responsibly with electricity usage. Our energy costs are high and are tiered--meaning the more you use, the more we are charged per KWh. If we are alerted to excessive and careless energy use, you will be charged for the additional charges. Turn the heat or A/C off when you are not in the home. There is usually no reason to have the heat or A/C on at night.

Lovely private guest house in San Carlos, 2 large bedrooms 1 bath, is located in the beautiful San Carlos neighborhood at the foothill, with its own private entrance. You can easy access 101 and 280; it's a few minutes drive to downtown San Carlos and downtown Redwood City. House is recently renovated with high speed internet (wifi).

This is an ADU downstairs of the main house, half basement. Upstairs is also a short-term rental. There is potential noise from upstairs.
