Free shuttle bus take you to Stanford and Stanford mall.

This is a one room studio, with a separate locking entrance, in the yard of a Palo Alto home. It has a compact kitchen consisting of two burners, a sink and a dorm sized refrigerator with freezer. There is a private bathroom, and a closet area. The furnishings include a seating area, with 2 chairs, a full sized bed, a built in table height eating area with two chairs, and a desk with a stool. The decor is mid century eclectic. The entrance and the windows face the yard and the driveway.
The space
You can feel secures staying here, as the studio is professionally cleaned at least three days before your arrival, and there are no other people in the space, between the cleaning and your check in. The entrance is separate from my entrance, and thus it is easy to stay here without ever getting within 6 feet of your host.
I have tried to make the space feel very Californian, as a lifelong N.California girl, I love my state. The photo on the wall is of Avila Beach, and I hope you get to visit a beach town, our amazing redwoods parks, and gorgeous San Francisco while you are here.

An easy stay, super close to downtown Palo Alto. We're 3 - 4 blocks from University Ave (the main street in downtown Palo Alto, with lots of shops and restaurants), and very close to Stanford. One bedroom (450 sq ft) with queen bed in the bedroom, a full-sized fold-out sofa bed in the living room, kitchen, and bathroom with shower/bath.
Here with young kids? You're all set. We have an awesome playhouse outside and some bigger ride-on toys. We can even cover you with some toys and books if you don't want to bring your own. A great playground is just across the street. Need a pack-and-play or other things? We've got that... and almost anything else you'd need for young kids (we've got two ourselves).
Here for business? We have good wifi. Check in whenever -- We have a keypad on the door, so you won't even need to see us. Need a computer monitor to code or prepare those slides? We can probably help you out there.

Quaint cottage on a private estate located directly across the street from the Stanford campus. This newly remodeled cottage is the ideal place to stay while in Palo Alto.
