Guest house is attached to our primary residence but has a separate exterior entrance. The interior is separated by double doors that lock from both sides similar to adjoining hotel rooms.

The backyard is shared by us, the owners. There’s a very real chance you’ll be greeted by our friendly Australian Shepherd, Gracie, during your stay! She’s available to play upon request.

You may see us in the yard during your stay. Feel free to say hi! Otherwise, we like to give our guests privacy.

Located west of Highway 1 (ocean side) our 500 sq ft attached guest house offers a separate entrance, skylights for natural light, fully stocked kitchen, and access to a shared backyard along with 2 beach cruiser bikes to enjoy the local coastal trail.

Bathroom has rainfall type shower. A table & chair set for two on the covered patio for your use. Full Kitchen with coffee maker & coffee provided, stove/oven, toaster, blender, microwave, refrigerator. An outdoor firepit for your use, BRING OWN FIREWOOD (easy start logs suggested).

From the front of the main house, drive to the stop sign and turn right on Ave Cabrillo. We are the second driveway on the right. Feel free to use the driveway to unload or load belongings, however, please park on the street. Look for the small "Reserved" sign and feel free to park there or anywhere forward of the sign. Walk up the driveway towards the garage and enter the gate which opens up to the back yard. Walk up a few steps and your studio will be to the left. There is a chance that you may be greeted by a welcome bark from our sweet 13 year old dog, Misha.

There is a Nectar queen-size memory foam bed in the bedroom and a small pull-out loveseat/sofa bed with a 5" memory foam full-size mattress and hypoallergenic pillow top mattress pad for added comfort. (please note, the bedroom and living room are an open floor plan, there’s a bathroom door but not a bedroom door. Please view in the photos provided). The appliances and furniture are new and complement the décor.

Parking is on the street in front of the house. Follow the flagstone steps to the guesthouse, through the private gate. There's a keypad lock on the front door for self check-in. The guesthouse is yours, as well as the front porch, private yard and garden.

We opened this space to share our love of our home town with travelers from all over the world. We encourage you to shop local, buy fresh fish off the boats and fruits and vegetables from the farmers' markets. Upon arrival, pull into any available parking space located in front of the Mill Rose Inn on Mill Street or Church Street. Between the hours of 4pm to 6pm, our staff will be available to help with your check-in. Enter the Inn through the unlocked entry door into the vestibule and proceed into the guest area for assistance. If you would like assistance outside of those hours please contact us.
