Rooms, especially the bath/shower parts, were small, even in the suites, probably just the way this town is, like many beach tourist communities. Biggest downside was a popular bar across the street and a few doors down that played loud dance/disco/club music continuously on most days of our trip, until at least midnight. Not possible to enjoy the lovely balcony and get in some sun unless you like boom-boom-boom music. Even in the rooms with the patio doors closed it was loud enough to keep us awake. Not sure if that's seasonal or what, so maybe ask about your stay dates if that sounds like an issue."

Room was fine with a large window that could be opened for breeze and shutters that could be closed at night. Space was on small side but adequate. Staff was excellent and accommodating, helping me with heavy luggage and providing a plug adapter to charge my phone. GPS is helpful to find it as street signs are hard to find. It is very close to central market area, church, beach, groceries etc. Town is lovely with lots of shopping and good places to eat. Excellent walking and biking trails along the sea. There are places where you can rent bikes. Street noise is almost non-existent so hotel was very quiet. Mattress on bed was adequate but not super comfy. "

- "We like Saintes Marie de la Mer very much, specially off season. We stayed the first time in an appartement, not a hotel, and thinks it was a perfect idea" - "The apartment was as nice as described: Close to the beach, at the end of the pedestrian Zone, accordingly many Restaurants and Shops nearby. For us the perfect surroundings. The apartment was newly refurbished and nicely decorated. and equipped with everything we needed (dishwasher, washing machine, electrical Barbecue, Nespresso coffee maker, vacuum cleaner, 2 TV and air condition in the living room - just to mention a few) We stayed there with our two children of whom one slept on the extendable Couch which was really comfortable and there is enough room for a travel Baby bed. Saintes Maries de la Mer is a lovely place for a vacation (with small children) and the apartment of Julie is the perfect accommodation there. We are already planning on coming back next year. Thanks also to Julie, the owner, who is very friendly. (Only remark: a second air condition in the sleeping room would be great - but this would just be an extra "goody")"

- "Ver, giid, very central but still not noisy. Shame apu are not allwowed to barbeque and there ist no private parking for the car. You have to park outside, about 600 m away. The Location of the Appartement is very good if you want to be near everything. It can be noisy during the Night. No Problem though because the windows are very good."

- "Here are the problems we had 1. On the listing it said that the hotel staff spoke French and English, Valerie the owner, who we dealt with only spoke French, no English, which was very difficult for us as we have only a little French. 2. A few days before our stay and after the refundable period had ended, we received an email from Valerie that we would either need to bring or own bed linens or pay Euro 38 to the hotel for the use of their linens, this was the first we heard about this. We called the number given in the message numerous times over the following days but no answer. 3. WIfi signal that we were given by Valerie was so weak that it kept dropping out and was useless. 4. When we asked for toilet paper we were told that we would have to purchase toilet paper for the room ourselves, no mention of this on the hotels.com listing. 5. The day before checkout we received a message that we had to clean the room ourselves, no mention of this on the Hotels.com listing. 6. When we checked our at 11am, neither owner Valerie was not present. "
