The property's first deed was signed by Salvador Dalí's father, of the same name. Salvador Dalí himself and Gala stayed in this building when they were coming or going from France.

The apartment has a Salvador Dalí motif because of his relation to the building. It is a lovely apartment facing the main avenue.

The apartment consists of a bedroom with a queen size bed and a double wardrobe, a living room with a sofa bed and a dining table, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with a shower.

Interaction with Guests

We will turn in the keys at your arrival and collect them at your departure.
Our vacation home is located in the attic but we cannot assure we will be staying there during your holidays.

Portbou is a small 800-inhabitant village where time froze many years ago, letting you enjoy the authentic spirit of the Costa Brava.

The train is 5 minutes away from our doorstep. Take it to go to Figueres, Girona, Barcelona, Colliure, Banyuls... This apartment is located in an emblematic building in Portbou's main avenue, it was previously known as “Hostal el Comerç". The beauty of the original building combines perfectly with the modern style of the recent remodeling, achieving a perfect mix between present and past.

Stay in our apartment Walter Benjamin,, sit down and watch people stroll through the plantain tree full Rambla (Portbou's main avenue). Open the front door and join them, walk towards the beach and follow the path that will take you to our beautiful coves. Breath in and feel the inspiration of this beautiful site.

The property is themed after the great thinker and philosopher, who ended up in Portbou after the unfolding of various tragic events. In Portbou there's several places destined to Walter Benjamin, and we wanted to be part of it honouring his memory.

The only thing you need for your holiday in Portbou is your swimming gear and your clothes, we'll provide the rest. We are here to help you have your best holidays. We'll facilitate you information about our area, restaurants, beaches and anything you need to know. Moreover you'll also have everything you need to cook if you'd rather stay at home and eat the fresh food you just bought from our local market.

The building was completely remodelled in 2014 and now we are renting its 4 apartments for the first time in this magical place. Everything is brand new! It is a lovely apartment facing the main avenue.

The apartment consists of a bedroom with a queen size bed and a double wardrobe, a living room with a sofa bed, dining table and TV, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom with a shower.

Interaction with Guests

We will turn in the keys at your arrival and collect them at your departure.
Our vacation home is located in the attic but we cannot assure we will be staying there during your holidays.

The Neighborhood

Portbou is a small 800-inhabitant village where time froze many years ago, letting you enjoy the authentic spirit of the Costa Brava.

Getting Around

The train is 5 minutes away from our doorstep. Take it to go to Figueres, Girona, Barcelona, Colliure, Banyuls... Take advantage of the strategic situation of Portbou and use the public transportation to get to know both Catalonia as well as France. Both the atmosphere of this seaside town and its peace, are mixed with the excitement of cities nearby.

- "A very nice, clean and newly renovated appartement. It is situated a small but cute and secure village. Cafes, restaurants, beach, train station everything is around and you don’t need a car. The owners are welcoming and give all necessary information. We with kids (5 and 2) enjoyed our vacation at Portbou."
