- "Staying at Le Cottage was a most memorable experience for my husband and I. We loved everything about the hotel, especially the divine Hammam space. Thank you for your hospitality and welcoming feeling. Some day we hope to return. Au revoir!!" - "Excellent hotel, with a new feel to it. Slept well, very quiet and did not hear the neighbours. Terrace had an electric shutter on it so when you shut it, the room had no morning light coming in, which was perfect for when we wanted to sleep in. External swimming pool is heated and warm enough to spend time in it. Spa is perfect for a few hours and was open 9am to 9pm. All staff were very friendly and accomodating. When we went to book treatments on the last morning they offered to extend our stay, at no cost, so that we could go back to the room after the treatments. Treatments were very enjoyable. Parking was ideal with security cameras, but in the end we did not park on site but left our car parked in front of the Gendarmerie which was a very short walk away. Lots of nice restaurants close by. The beach and port were a 4 minute drive away. There is free parking at the port and the parking at the beach is free, except during June and July I believe. Nice long beaches. We found all the staff in Argeles to be genuinely friendly. Nice coastal walk to Collioure or you can take the train or bus and thereby avoid the hassle of trying to find somewhere to park in Collioure. "

- "Nice relaxed stay. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Would be better with a kettle for tea/coffee making in the rooms." - "Nice hotel with a lovely pool which when we were there was very quiet and a real sun trap. The area is only a 20 minute walk from the Port however it is not an easy walk and not one I would like to take with children, or pushing a pram or wheelchair. The walk is along the main road which has no street lights, much of it is on the road verge, not a pavement. The hotel is in a housing estate and there may be a quicker and safer route through the houses, however we tried to find one and failed. The hotel itself is lovely and the staff are friendly and very accommodating. The breakfast at €9 is very good value and plentiful. The rooms are cleaned daily and to a good standard. We visited a restaurant called L'escale at the Marina and it was wonderful, well worth a visit. We also walked along the coast to Collioure which took around an hour and 20 minutes, well worth the walk and Collioure is a must see!"

- "Really helpful staff, lovely relaxed atmosphere " - "Superb, especially for the price. The hotel is a short walk to the beach and surrounding restaurants. The room was a decent size, the shower powerful, the air conditioning was a bonus and the breakfast probably the best budget hotel breakfast I have had in a long time. Secure parking is available but access is tight so only really usable if you have a small car but if you don't, then there is on-street parking right outside the hotel. Highly recommended."

- "This was our 6th stay at Pinede Enchantee. The park is very quiet, with no vehicles permitted close to the chalets. The staff are always very helpful and the chalets are well equipped. It is located close to Argeles, St Andre for shopping and only a few minutes to all the coastal resorts such as Collioure, St Cyprien, Port Vendre, and Banyuls. Only 25 minutes away are the frontier shopping areas of Le Perthus and La Jonquera. The only complaint would be that there are windows of the chalets that would benefit from blinds to make them more private, mainly the kitchen and bathroom windows. Overall very good and well recommended."

- "SUR PLACE BIEN ACCEUILLI PETIT DEJ IMPECAPLE" - "The best way to summarise is very friendly and nice people but the hotel is very dated with plenty of flaws - but you get what you pay for. I just think 3 stars is way overrated though. Food included in the evening depends on the day - I suspect they are using the microwave a lot rather than scratch cooking as i was hearing it ringing constantly. This hotel has probably not seen a refurbishment since the 90s at best. Everything looks dated and obviously, it impacts its cleanliness. The shower is Barry big enough for 1 - if you are overweight or 2m high, good luck. Barely anything provided in the bathroom and towels are the size of a handkerchief. Insulation is extremely poor and the noise both from the street (there are rooms at the back must be more quiet) and from other guests was pretty loud and waking us up. We had a little balcony - now be mindful of that as people are eating underneath - but more interestingly birds were living on the roof over it - we left our beach towels outside to dry … and found them covered in bird poo - because they are obviously cleaning the balcony you only find out on the morning after so watch out. I think the best moment was when I asked for a boiled egg - very nicely they brought one although not on the breakfast menu … but it was rotten. Speaking about breakfast go for french style as the continental one comes with very poor cheap quality charcuterie. A thorough refurbishment is badly required."
