1940’s cottage remodeled in 2017 on three acres right outside of the city of Martin. Less than two miles from UTM and the medical district. Quiet and safe area. The house is decorated comfortably with soft fabrics and exposed wood. The property is fully furnished for either an extended stay or simply overnight.

- "The house was very nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay. I gave 4 stars for accuracy of listing because the check in/out times were different than the instructions provided in emails by an hour. This wasn't an issue for us with our timing. There were some dishes, but there were only 3 spoons. As a group of 7 we needed more than 3 spoons at a time, so we bought plastic spoons at a nearby store. A great place to stay together with family when you can't all fit in one hotel room."

Welcome to Gloria’s on Exchange (GOE), a cozy home-away-from-home located in a quiet historic neighborhood, just walking distance from Downtown Union City, Tennessee. The bones of this two-bedroom cottage date to 1910, but this little house has received a loving renovation. Local art gives off a “rustic” feel, but all is completely tricked out with smart technology and very cozy furniture and bedding.

Included in the listed price are 2 bedrooms (1 queen and 1 w/2 twins) both with an en suite full bath and electric fireplace for warmth and ambiance. There is an additional 3rd bedroom with a queen sized bed automatically prepped for parties of 5-6 who pay the additional person(s) fee. This helps us keep the posted price at a minimum for parties of 4 or less.

The large living area is very comfortable with a couch and 2 new swivel rocker recliners. The living room has a smart tv and includes an electric fireplace as well.

Throughout, Gloria’s wall art, almost all original photography, reflects the owners’ love of travel and their devotion to America’s national parks.

A tasteful dining area, which features images of area attractions, opens onto a spacious deck that is equipped with a gas grill and outdoor table, seating, and umbrella (there are also two rocking chairs on the front porch). There are 7 moveable chairs which can be used for dining or other.

A well-appointed kitchen offers you the option of dining in with a full range of appliances and utensils as well as spices, oils, and ice. A coffeemaker and locally-roasted coffee are also supplied. Gloria’s on Exchange is ideally located with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and several area attractions.

1. HISTORIC ANN'S 1893
Serving primarily as a wedding/event venue, this property has two nice overnight suites - both with a full bath. There is an additional pool/pingpong gaming area and full Kitchen.

2. ROSIE'S RETREAT
A full house much like GOE. Sleeps 6-8 and has a large fun outdoor hang space with outdoor kitchen, grill, gas fire pit, and plenty of seating, picnic tables, and ambient outdoor lighting.

Perhaps best of all, the home is located in the heart of the City of Martin, literally a stone’s throw, only 1.2 miles, from the University of Tennessee at Martin and it’s numerous cultural activities, fine arts, and athletics. Walk across the street to the square and grab a coffee at Martin’s Coffee & Bakery, eat at La Cabana Mexican, or shop at Sugar & Spice Boutique. Stop and check out the brand new Martin Public Library on your walk back to the house. Head on over to A.B. Cheatham’s Downtown Tavern for a beer or a glass of wine or enjoy fine dining with excellent service at The Opera House Restaurant, also within walking distance at only .3 miles. Martin is also home to the Tennessee Soybean Festival which takes place annually around Labor Day.
