The condo is climate controlled and SO comfortable. Our family of 4 each had their own space, but it will comfortably sleep up to 8 people. There are 2 full baths and one 1/2. The master suite has a whirlpool tub that we enjoyed. The screened in porch was perfect with a view of the lake and pool. The sunsets were breathtaking! One really neat thing that they have are journals dating back to 2002! Many families that have stayed there have written about their experiences. It is a must to read! The marina is walking distance for a great meal. My husband and son also caught a lot of fish while we were there. Finally, the check in and out process was a breeze! You will get instructions on what to do only a couple days prior to your trip. Do not panic! You will receive a text with a person you can contact whenever throughout your trip and they check in on you once to make sure all is well. I highly recommend!"

The Tara Cove building features 12 lakefront, 2 bedroom condos; each and every unit has a beautiful screened-in porch to enjoy the gorgeous lake views. The fully equipped kitchen is open to a comfortable living and dining area. The master bedroom with king bed overlooks the lake as well, and the bathroom features Jacuzzi tub and a walk-in shower. The guest bedroom with one queen size bed has its own bathroom.

- "If you’re looking to get away and disconnect this is a great spot. I live in a nearby town, but I had a friend come out for a girls week and wanted to get away from my house. This was the perfect location. I brought kayaks and we picked up a couple of floats. We spent a lot of time on the lake and enjoyed the nature trail too. The screened in back porch overlooking the lake was our go-to spot when we were inside the unit…even in August thanks to the ceiling fans. Very peaceful and rejuvenating. Some things to be aware of… The units seem to be a little older and we had an issue with our ac when we first got there. It was handled quickly and efficiently and management was super helpful and responsive. But just be aware that there may be issues due to the age of the condos. We also had to get replacement key cards a couple of times. Which was also handled quickly and efficiently, but kind of a hassle. The one thing that I did not like and would change is the fake flowers throughout the unit, as well as the decorative oil bottles. The flowers are dust catchers and gave a cluttered look to the place, and one of the oil bottles appeared to have been opened and was forming mold and the top. Ew! But an overall great experience. All the staff are kind and helpful, it’s a beautiful neighborhood, and the lake setting is rejuvenating and the perfect relaxing vacation spot. I plan on going back."

- "I had an incredible experience staying here for my birthday weekend! The host’s communication was top-notch from start to finish, making everything so smooth. Pictures really don’t do this place justice—it was even more beautiful and cozy in person. The area was quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway, and the hospitality was truly outstanding. The property was spotless, and the thoughtful touches like providing wine and ice made us feel very welcome. The host was also very understanding and accommodating about the few friends who joined to celebrate with me, and the added games were such a fun bonus! - "Everything was great" - "Styled a little like an unfinished Mexican restaurant, with things fairly piecemeal and slapped together. Definitely not attention to detail. A screen was broken on the screened in porch and when I took a shower, the entire shower door popped out when trying to close it and I had to scramble, soaking wet, to get it back in. My friends and I came out to meet each other here and see other friends in Georgia. We wanted to have people over one night for cake and dinner to celebrate birthdays, but we couldn't because this place requires you to give every person's name at the guardhouse and they have to park at the marina. I wouldn't have cared so much had this been in the listing so that I was aware, but nothing in the listing made the difficulty having guests apparent. We had to change plans last minute and not have people over because of this after planning for some time. The positive is that the location is gorgeous and the beds are comfy. Generally beds that are not your own suck, but I found these were great, so I did get good night's sleep at least. I suggest to the host to better explain the parking and guardhouse situation in the listing, so that people can better make an informed decision with staying with you. Had I known I could have made other plans after of time or just found another listing and I'd have had less negatives about my stay. Awareness is key!"

- "House and neighborhood was just as described. Enjoyed my stay with my mother a 96 yr old." - "The house was decent but definitely not brand new as listed. The home was built in 2018 which makes it almost 10 years old. We got in super late and was under the impression that we had the entire home to ourselves. I had the disadvantage of being scared to death unaware of where I was and who was in the home when we arrived. The garage door was locked and so was the master bedroom from the outside in. It was super creepy considering I was staying there alone with my kids. The home also had a funny odor to it and the beds were atrocious. There were pathetic foam mattresses straight out of a box possibly from Walmart that would deflate after sleeping on them. Water pressure was lousy, bathroom toilet ran,and tub was filthy. I scrubbed for quite sometime to get it cleaned. After 3 nights, I had enough and due to advice from my mom, I quickly moved my family to a nearby extended stay to make sure my family was safe. My mama intuition said something wasn’t right. Ironically, the owner or the “host” somehow knew that we had left at the exact time. I had a feeling there were cameras or they were present in the home somewhere. Super creepy! I contacted VRBO and the host who was only willing to give a partial refund. The host also attempted to charge me for a 4th night even though we didn’t stay there and chose to go to a hotel. Thankfully, VRBO contacted us a few days later to give their sincere apologies and helped us sort out the problem. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone."

The Villas at Fairfield is blissfully secluded from everyday stress and strife. It is an intimate Georgian resort with a friendly, bed-and-breakfast feel about, enhanced by wonderful Deep South hospitality. There are many activities available without ever stepping foot off the resort. During the summer months, enjoy a sunny catnap at the private beach or one of the resort's pools. Then try some fishing in the private lakes. If you love golf, you will enjoy the championship-quality golf course. Other amenities include a tennis court, picnic area and recreation center.

The two-bedroom villa accommodates up to six guests. The master bedroom has a king bed and a bath with a jetted tub. The guest room has a various bedding and a sleeper sofa in the living room. Additional amenities include a full kitchen and dining area, a fireplace, washer/dryer and a balcony.

This resort is a landmark in the small town of Villa Rica, and is within driving distance of the Oconee and Chattahoochee national Forests. Also close by is legendary Stone Mountain and the magnificent Calloway Gardens. Just 30 minutes away is the city of Atlanta, and all the enriching and exciting prospects that offers the adventurous vacationer.
