Because of this, I would recommend only staying here during cooler months (or at least not in 106 degree temps!) unless you plan to be out and about while the sun is up. The yurt doesn’t have a kitchen, only a small fridge, microwave, and keurig machine. The bathroom is separate but that really wasn’t a big deal. Also, we were under the assumption that we would be much closer to the water but it was quite a hike to get to the lake. The scenery is beautiful though and overall a great place!"

The neighborhood was safe and lot's to do nearby. My kids especially liked the ping pong/ pool table in the garage. There were so many places to relax in this house and we never felt on top of each other. It unfortunately rained all day one day but we didn't care because the upstairs family room was perfect for watching movies. The couches reclined all the way and were extremely comfy. When the rain let up we went in the spa which can get quite hot! We loved it. Didn't mind cooking at all in the beautiful kitchen either. I highly recommend this house and would stay again."

The space
Guests are renting a room about the size of a hotel suite with a private bathroom as well as a studio kitchen, we also have an outside barbecue right outside the door. The opposite side of the building is used for my artist studio as well as another AirBnB. It has its own private entrance and bathroom. The only wall you share is the bathroom. There is a closet that goes in between where we keep our supplies for each of our places. That is the door that you will notice is locked.

Our driveway is shared with the main house drive way so please go very slow as we stay in the front house as well as have guests sometimes. If your stay requires more than 28 days we ask that you book an addition to the airbnb reservation, as any longer would constituted a long term rental agreement. We want to make sure everyone's expectations are met accordingly. If your stay is longer than 7 days we require a cleaning once a week with a $15 fee. We will change the sheets and provide fresh towels.

We require all guests who are staying or visiting the property are registered as part of the reservation. This is a requirement of Airbnb's and ours as our insurance company requites it. We do charge $25 per guest for the entire reservation. We do not monitor who is coming and going so we don't do guests for individual nights.

(no cable provided) We provide a microwave, induction hot plate, utensils to cook a one pot meal, a Keurig coffee maker as well as a water cooler providing fresh cold and hot water while supplies last. Our place has a two compartment mini freezer and refrigerator. Every things is new and ready for you to use. Private entrance, convenient parking right outside the door. We have two units. Shared bathroom and a closet wall. Both shared walls have doors you can shut putting even more space between you. It is very quiet and private. There is a door that leads to our supply closet. The supply closet is not accessible to our guests. This is the best kept secret in North Texas! Shhh the secret will be out soon! : )
