- "Comfortable and clean" - "We liked the very comfortable beds, and the agent was very personable and prompt with communications. That is where it ends on the goodies. Starting at the front door, you must enter a very long code every time you want to enter. Then there is the non functioning remote for the garage door, so it forces street parking. Remember this property is touted by the owner as FIVE STAR. The door to the 3rd bedroom would not close due to the size of the bed. There is a very efficient air conditioner in the main living area, but none of the bedrooms had air conditioning or fans making for a few sweltering nights. This is a very large apartment and maybe once had the makings of a FIVE STAR apartment, but that was before the brawl that left dents in the fridge and had the wall patched but not painted, for the roughly $400 per night digs this does not meet any of the criteria for FOUR STAR, let alone the claim of FIVE STAR. The cheapest pots, utensils, cutlery, crockery, glass ware were proudly on display, and are available from the local REJECT SHOP, this is NOT FIVE STAR. There was no outdoor seating or table of any type, and no BBQ for the entire complex. Stanthorpe is or was under emergency drought water restrictions (80 litres, per person per day) yet this property had no signage whatsoever on any water outlet including the spa bath. There were numerous small maintenance issues and no finishing touches that one would expect at the FIVE STAR level.THIS IS NOT FIVE STAR."

We are situated near the creek which has plenty of walking tracks and parks for the kids.
Stanthorpe also has some amazing wineries and plenty of places to go mountain climbing such as bold rock and the pyramids which also have barbecues so you can have a picnic and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Davadi Cottage is a dream country escape, renovated in Swedish country style brimming with character but with modern conveniences the perfect blend for a charming weekend. Three Country size bedroom comfortable fits six people . The living room is cozy with a beautiful fire place and a Large open dining kitchen great for entertaining. The bathroom as a lovely claw foot bath and a large walk-in shower. There is a lovely sun room perfect to curl up and read a book , an enclosed front verandah is a lovely spot for a cuppa in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening . The old charm is there in an abundance with a record player , a well stocked cabinet with games and books. There is even a supply of old movies , perfect place to spend time with friends and family. The location is just 5 mins walk to the main street which is great for going out at night, no need to take the car, but only a short drive to all the wineries.

Pets can stay indoors or outdoors. They can also be safely tied up or closed into a smaller yard while owners are away. Sorry, no cats are allowed.
It is only a short drive from "Glen Robin" to National Parks at Bald Rock and Girraween.

Glen Robin Homestead has been in our family for fifty years. It has been recently renovated to be used as a holiday house. There is a large fenced yard for children and pets to play in.
Pets can stay indoors or outdoors. They can also be safely tied up or closed into a smaller yard while owners are away. Sorry, no cats are allowed.
It is only a short drive from "Glen Robin" to National Parks at Bald Rock and Girraween.

Whether you want to relax and take it easy, or venture outdoors, there are plenty of things to do at Wisteria Place. There are lovely mountain views from the lounge window, perfect for curling up with a good book next to a roaring fire. The house is surrounded by beautiful rambling gardens, perfect for picnics, and also cypress pines and fruit trees, that were planted by the original inhabitants of the house, over sixty years ago. The fruit trees along with a beautiful large trellis of wisteria are a spectacular sight when they flower in spring. The house has more than 4 acres of natural bushland surrounding it to explore, including the famous granite rocks, that have made the Granite Belt such a popular tourist destination. Young children in particular will love climbing them!
Wisteria Place is over sixty years old and its quaint country charm, including VJ`s and polished floors makes for a cosy way to spend a weekend, or a longer stay. The house has a fireplace, perfect for those chilly winter nights, and also electric blankets and fan heaters. The bathroom has recently been renovated and a spa with shower over has been installed. [Note; A high side spa does not necessarily suite the aged or infirm -ask us about the bathroom if you have any doubt] All linen is provided for your convenience. Come and experience this brand new modern two bedroom cottage overlooking Stanthorpe's Quart pot creek, filled with many modern luxuries. A pleasant ten minute walk to the main Street of town.
You can enjoy a relaxing time while soaking in your own heated spa on your veranda taking in the park land view, or cosy up in front of the fire place during winter, while enjoying a complimentary bottle of wine.
Being located on the creek, which is one of the coldest areas in Stanthorpe the winter temperatures are often around -5 degrees which usually means a nice white frost, and thats why people come to Stanthorpe in winter so they can experience a real winter by a toasty log burning fire.
HOW TO BOOK Please note the base rate is good for one or two people sharing the same room, if 2 people wish not to share one room and would like to open both bedrooms please send a request and a $100 fee request will be sent to you to accept. This covers the extra setting up and cleaning fees for the 2nd room. Both bedrooms are set up with a king bed in each room which can be split into 2 singles per room. For a 5th person a fold out bed will be supplied.

Silky Oak Cottage is perfect for a couples getaway. Located only 1km from the town centre of Stanthorpe its within easy walking distance to the local craft markets, cafes and restaurants and parklands. Silky Oak offers a fully renovated kitchen with full stove, oven, microwave and coffee machine. The bathroom has been fully renovated and the living area is cosy and warm thanks to the wood fire. The gorgeous spiral staircase leads to the queen bedroom which boasts romantic french doors opening onto a small private balcony.
The cottage is set in peaceful, quiet gardens where you can sit and enjoy your cuppa and relax.
We are pet friendly (upon application, small pets only and one pet per stay) however the property is not fully fenced. We do request that your furry friends be house trained, kept off the furnishings and that they not be left alone while you go out for the day as they tend to fret and get anxious. A $40 surcharge per booking will apply.
A three night minimum stay is required over the Easter and Christmas periods.

Briar Rose Cottages consists of three quaint cottages on the edge of the Stanthorpe township in the Granite Belt Region. The front cottage, ‘The Mulberry’ is a two bedroom cottage and the back cottage, ‘The Silky Oak’, is a one bedroom cottage.
This listing is for the 'The Mulberry'. This cottage boasts a beautifully styled, open plan living area and large front verandah. There are two bedrooms- one with a queen bed and the other with two long singles. The cottage is fully self contained with a modern kitchen; full stove, oven, microwave and a range of cooking utensils and equipment. The cottage features a wood heater making the living room a cosy place to relax. All wood and kindling is supplied. Briar Rose Cottages have been renovated in April, 2016 and feature new furniture and fixtures.
If booking the Mulberry cottage for two guests this will give you access to the living area plus the Queen bedroom only. If you wish to book both bedrooms so that you have a bedroom each you will need to book for three guests and an additional $40 per night will apply.
Minimum three night stay applies over Easter and Christmas periods.
The cottage is set in quiet peaceful gardens where you can sit and relax with your cuppa or glass of wine! We also have a cottage that sleeps 2 people, called 'The Silky Oak', also listed on Stayz.
We are pet friendly (upon application, small pets only and one pet per stay) however the property is not fully fenced. We do request that your furry friends be house trained, kept off the furnishings and do not be left alone while you go out for the day as they tend to fret and get anxious. A $40 surcharge per booking will apply.

While we're super proud of the recent renovations, a couple of rooms are still on our "wish list" for updates. The kitchen, while functional, is dated and well loved and eagerly awaiting a modern makeover. We've already made some improvements by replacing most of the appliances. Additionally, the ensuite bathroom, although charming 70’s, is due for a stylish upgrade.

Cedar Cottage is a charming, newly renovated three bedroom house located on the outskirts of Stanthorpe, one kilometre to the Main Street shopping district, cafes and eateries. Cedar Cottage has been beautifully renovated and can comfortably sleep six guests. The cottage contains two queen beds and two single beds, has a fully equipped kitchen and two brand new spacious bathrooms. The log fire will keep you toasty warm in winter and the air conditioning will keep you comfortably cool in summer. The front porch is perfect to enjoy your morning cuppa and the back deck is just the place to crack open your bottle of local wine while watching the sunset in the evening. The back yard is shady and private and you can relax with a good book under the shade of the trees.
There is a centrally located fire pit for the enjoyment of all Briar Rose Cottage guests - just the spot to sit around with your family or friends, toasting marshmallows on a chilly Granite Belt evening.

The Cottage is only a 5 minute walk to the CBD and offers three large bedrooms with two bathrooms with toilets and an additional shower with vanity.
The Master Bedroom has a Queen-sized bed and features a small library with both children's and adult books, walk in robe with hanging space and private access to the main bathroom with spa bath and main toilet.
The second Bedroom has a Queen-sized bed and features an ensuite with shower, wardrobe and hanging space and personal access to the front verandah.
The third Bedroom has two Single beds and features a wardrobe with hanging space and personal access to the front verandah.

The property has a large backyard which the kids made use of. Location is great for accessing the sights and eats nearby. If you are looking for a comfortable and convenitaly situated stay in Stanthorpe, I highly recommend this property. "

With limited homes in Stanthorpe itself this is the perfect place to base yourself for your granite belt adventures. Mount Marley Lookout is only 950m. Walk to Japanese Restaurants,Italian Restaurants and all the variety of coffee shops and pubs the Ideal spot for a weekend getaway. It is perfect for both short and long stays. Cherry Blossom Cottage is on a 1/4 of an acre set in the town of Stanthorpe on the Granite Belt. We are over 1000 metres above sea level which creates four fantastic seasons. Our cottage has 4 spacous country style bedrooms with queen beds. You have a large kitchen to cook in and a beautiful lounge room with chases to relax by the fire. In the winter we serve complimentary port and after dinner mints. We have a beautiful spa for relaxing in after a day of wine tasting that can be heated in the winter.

We have pantry basics like flour , oil , tea , coffee , sugar , jam/honey. We even leave some bread in the freezer and some porridge and cereal for your departure morning in case you need to have something quick for breakfast!

In Autumn and winter we stock the fire place for your arrival! Cherry Blossom Cottage stays very warm as it is insulated for our cold winters! We offer warm fluffy sheets on the beds for those that feel the cold and each bed has an electric blanket !
We will contact you before arrival with an access code to enter the house !
We do have 3 reverse cycle air conditioners

we do like well behaved children coming to stay at Cherry Blossom Cottage but please note:
Before booking please consider these factors that could affect-children under 12 -
we have a fire place that is unprotected and small breakable objects that could be dangerous to them !
The doors are original to the house and locks and handles if played with can become stuck or lodged.
We do have back stairs leading to the back yard - we have a fly screen on the door way but no child guards.
We do expect furniture and lodgings to be well respected !
If you rent the cottage and bring children to stay please note - you are fully responsible for their care and well being !

The space-
The unit is part of a quiet, duplex-style block (Units 1, 2 & 3) and offers quick access to the highway—perfect for exploring Stanthorpe and the scenic Granite Belt region.
This two-bedroom unit features a queen bed in the main bedroom, while the second room includes a single bed and either a folding bed or cot (available upon request)—ideal for children or extra guests.
The open-plan layout seamlessly combines the living room, dining area, and kitchen.
Guest access-
Guests have full access to the entire unit, including both bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, dining area, living room, laundry, and the garage. Parking is available directly in front of the garage or on the street—whichever is most convenient for you.

• A folding bed or travel cot is available on request for the 4th Guest—let us know in advance so we can prepare it for you.
• This is a non-smoking property,
• Two exterior security cameras are installed — one monitoring the driveway and the other covering the back door area. Cameras are for security purposes only and do not face any indoor spaces.
