Starting at the front door, you must enter a very long code every time you want to enter. Then there is the non functioning remote for the garage door, so it forces street parking. Remember this property is touted by the owner as FIVE STAR. The door to the 3rd bedroom would not close due to the size of the bed. There is a very efficient air conditioner in the main living area, but none of the bedrooms had air conditioning or fans making for a few sweltering nights. This is a very large apartment and maybe once had the makings of a FIVE STAR apartment, but that was before the brawl that left dents in the fridge and had the wall patched but not painted, for the roughly $400 per night digs this does not meet any of the criteria for FOUR STAR, let alone the claim of FIVE STAR. The cheapest pots, utensils, cutlery, crockery, glass ware were proudly on display, and are available from the local REJECT SHOP, this is NOT FIVE STAR. There was no outdoor seating or table of any type, and no BBQ for the entire complex. Stanthorpe is or was under emergency drought water restrictions (80 litres, per person per day) yet this property had no signage whatsoever on any water outlet including the spa bath. There were numerous small maintenance issues and no finishing touches that one would expect at the FIVE STAR level.THIS IS NOT FIVE STAR."

The bathroom as a lovely claw foot bath and a large walk-in shower. There is a lovely sun room perfect to curl up and read a book , an enclosed front verandah is a lovely spot for a cuppa in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening . The old charm is there in an abundance with a record player , a well stocked cabinet with games and books. There is even a supply of old movies , perfect place to spend time with friends and family. The location is just 5 mins walk to the main street which is great for going out at night, no need to take the car, but only a short drive to all the wineries.

This house has 3 large bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a spacious lounge area with reverse cycle air conditioning and wood fire place.

Sheets, towels, pillowcases, tea towels, blankets and pillows are provided.

Cleaning costs are included on departure.

We also provide some basic consumable items such as tissues, dishwashing liquid, toilet paper and hand soap. These are not replenished during your stay.

During winter months, limited amounts of firewood and fire starting equipment are also provided.

Cot and high chair can be provided upon request.

Full Refund of Deposit will be given for 30 days or more notice of cancellation.
10% administration fee applies to cancelled bookings (which will be deducted from the deposit held)
No refund will be given if 30 days or less notice given unless Stanthorpe Villa is re-let.

Wisteria Place is located on the outskirts of Stanthorpe, nestled on 6 acres that offers both solitude and seclusion. Wake up to birds chirping outside your window and hearing the wind in the trees. Whether you want to relax and take it easy, or venture outdoors, there are plenty of things to do at Wisteria Place. There are lovely mountain views from the lounge window, perfect for curling up with a good book next to a roaring fire. The house is surrounded by beautiful rambling gardens, perfect for picnics, and also cypress pines and fruit trees, that were planted by the original inhabitants of the house, over sixty years ago. The fruit trees along with a beautiful large trellis of wisteria are a spectacular sight when they flower in spring. The house has more than 4 acres of natural bushland surrounding it to explore, including the famous granite rocks, that have made the Granite Belt such a popular tourist destination. Young children in particular will love climbing them!

Wisteria Place is over sixty years old and its quaint country charm, including VJ`s and polished floors makes for a cosy way to spend a weekend, or a longer stay. The house has a fireplace, perfect for those chilly winter nights, and also electric blankets and fan heaters. The bathroom has recently been renovated and a spa with shower over has been installed. [Note; A high side spa does not necessarily suite the aged or infirm -ask us about the bathroom if you have any doubt] All linen is provided for your convenience. Its spacious interior can comfortably accommodate up to a maximum of 8 people, with 2 Queen bedrooms, 1 double room, one room with 2 single beds, and also a pull out double sofa which is contained in the sun/tv room. The kitchen is fully self contained with breakfast baskets included and there are full laundry facilities available. There is also a double lock up garage for your peace of mind and security. The house has 2 TV's with one DVD player and stereo.

Wisteria Place is only a convenient 2 minute drive to the main shopping district of Stanthorpe and its popular eateries, and also within a comfortable walking distance. It is centrally located, to the wineries and other popular tourist destinations, such as National Parks, if you wish to explore what the Granite Belt has to offer.

With its inviting tranquil atmosphere, you will find it hard to leave at the end of your stay, but know that Wisteria Place will always be waiting for you to return.

Recently renovated, Old Caves House is full of character and set on our 5 acre property with a large front deck overlooking the front yard and paved entertaining area, with all new furnishings & polished floorboards throughout.

The main lounge has a 55inch High Definition Smart TV with surround sound system. Old Caves House features gorgeous open plan living, dining & a modern kitchen with 3 separate lounge areas ensuring there is a comfortable relaxing space for everyone to enjoy.

A cosy wood fire will keep the house lovely and warm during winter, we supply the wood & kindling, with a reverse cycle air conditioner for the summer months or just to take the chill off the cool mountain air.

All bed linen and towels are provided.Comfy beds with quality bed linen are set in 4 generous size bedrooms accommodating up to 9 guests in total.

While we're super proud of the recent renovations, a couple of rooms are still on our "wish list" for updates. The kitchen, while functional, is dated and well loved and eagerly awaiting a modern makeover. We've already made some improvements by replacing most of the appliances. Additionally, the ensuite bathroom, although charming 70’s, is due for a stylish upgrade.

Netley House is a 1930s Queenslander in central Stanthorpe.
The house has character and style: traditional VJ walls, original polished timber floor boards and multiple sunlit communal areas. It's comfortable and cosy with a wood fireplace and two air-con units.
A short stroll to the Quart Pot creek and less than five minutes' walk to the gallery, pool and the cafes, shops, pubs and restaurants of the main street.
Netley is a quiet location where you can relax and recharge.
The Space:
Netley has been lovingly renovated and decorated to provide our guests with beautiful spaces to relax and be together.
You can unwind, laugh, entertain and recharge at Netley, while enjoying both the peace and quiet of the country location and the convenience of a short stroll to town.
Both queen bedrooms are beautifully furnished with premium beds and linen. Both rooms are very spacious, offering the ability to retreat and relax. The master bedroom has air-conditioning.
The smaller third bedroom has a single bed a chest of drawers and easy access to the second toilet.
The sun room and office space is sun filled and airy with comfortable chairs to enjoy a cup of tea and the green view (with glimpses of the Quart Pot creek). If you need to stay connected, the office space is spacious and well-equipped (with fast wi-fi available). The sunroom and office space can be closed off from the other areas of the house to provide a quiet space.

The kitchen is fully equipped with ample and good-quality crockery, glassware, utensils, knives etc. There is a large dining table to accommodate six adults and space to enjoy a pre- or post-dinner drink or to admire the action in the kitchen! There is a large fridge for the home cooks, and a Vintec wine fridge to store your souvenirs from the local wineries. A BBQ is available for outdoor cooking.
The living room is a gorgeous retreat that can also be closed off from other spaces. The fire place is located in this room (and we provide sufficient timber to get you started in the cooler months from April to September). It has comfortable lounges for reclining with a book and a wall mounted Smart TV with Netflix provided.
The bathroom is functional, bright and spacious with a heater for the colder months.
Netley is on a large block - it is set back from the street with a big back yard (with youthful maple, crab apple and pear trees).
Location:
Netley is a short, level stroll to the superb walking and bike paths along the Quart Pot creek.
Families with children will enjoy the nearby playgrounds and opportunities for bikes / scooters along the creek. The public swimming pool and library are 5 minutes' walk from Netley.
Other groups will enjoy the short walk to the art gallery and the attractions of the main street (a strong coffee at Brinx and a pastry from Zest are highly recommended at the start of your day).

A few of our favourite things to do:

1. Walk to Zest Bakery for coffee and grab a loaf of their famous sourdough - or if eating out for breakfast, try Little Larder on Railway St or Brinx Cafe and Deli.
2. Wine tasting - try the sparkling rosé at Robert Channon Wines, the vermentino at Golden Grove, saperavi at Ballandean Estate, the shiraz at Jester Hill and a host of others. The boys from Bent Road Winery have a two-hour tour of the winery and tasting - don't forget to book in advance.
3. Hard-to-go-past winery lunches - The Barrel Room for a long Italian lunch or Balancing Heart Winery, open seven days for wood-fired pizza or ploughman's lunch.
4: When it comes to dinner it’s hard to beat Essen where the menu changes weekly - it's the only hatted restaurant in the area. Ballandean Estate is also open for dinner on the weekends. Hanasuku in Davadi St has authentic Japanese.
5: The Queensland College of Wine Tourism has an award-winning restaurant, Varias – it’s open Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and weekends for dinner. They will also pack you a picnic with 24-hours notice.

we do like well behaved children coming to stay at Cherry Blossom Cottage but please note:
Before booking please consider these factors that could affect-children under 12 -
we have a fire place that is unprotected and small breakable objects that could be dangerous to them !
The doors are original to the house and locks and handles if played with can become stuck or lodged.
We do have back stairs leading to the back yard - we have a fly screen on the door way but no child guards.
We do expect furniture and lodgings to be well respected !

There are handmade ‘space saving’ stairs so the second level has a steep but approved stair case. There are locking gates on the top and bottom for safety. The rest of the flat is open plan with one bedroom with a door.

The bungalow has a comfortable open plan living room for you to enjoy, with a split system air con unit & a wood burner fireplace - we highly recommend using both of these during the winter and cooler months.

The kitchen is well stocked with utensils to cook with if you choose to eat in, but also we highly recommend exploring the wineries, restaurants and breweries that the granite belt has to offer.

Basic pantry items are provided such as tea, coffee, cooking oil, salt & pepper. We have a Nespresso machine, milk frother & pods for your daily coffee. Instant coffee is also available.

The bathroom has a walk in shower & a heated towel rack for cold nights. We have provided hand and body wash products for your stay.

Netley House is a 1930s Queenslander in central Stanthorpe.

The house has character and style: traditional VJ walls, original polished timber floor boards and multiple sunlit communal areas. It's comfortable and cosy with a wood fireplace and two air-con units.

A short stroll to the Quart Pot creek and less than five minutes' walk to the gallery, pool and the cafes, shops, pubs and restaurants of the main street.

Netley is a quiet location where you can relax and recharge.

The space
Netley has been lovingly renovated and decorated to provide our guests with beautiful spaces to relax and be together.

You can unwind, laugh, entertain and recharge at Netley, while enjoying both the peace and quiet of the country location and the convenience of a short stroll to town.

Both queen bedrooms are beautifully furnished with premium beds and linen. Both rooms are very spacious, offering the ability to retreat and relax. The master bedroom has air-conditioning.

The smaller third bedroom has a single bed with a chest of drawers and easy access to the second W.C.

The sunroom and office space are sun filled and airy with comfortable chairs to enjoy a cup of tea and the green view (with glimpses of the Quart Pot creek). If you need to stay connected, the office space is spacious and well-equipped (with fast wi-fi available). The sunroom and office space can be closed off from the other areas of the house to provide a quieter space.

The kitchen is fully equipped with ample and good-quality crockery, glassware, utensils, knives etc. There is a large dining table to accommodate six adults and space to enjoy a pre- or post-dinner drink or to admire the action in the kitchen! There is a large fridge for the home cooks and a BBQ is available for outdoor cooking.

The living room is a gorgeous retreat that can also be closed off from other spaces. The fireplace is located in this room (and we provide sufficient timber for evening fires in the cooler months (from April to September). It has comfortable lounges for reclining with a book and a wall mounted Smart TV with Netflix provided.

The bathroom is basic but functional, bright and spacious with a heater for the colder months. A second toilet is located at the rear of the house and requires users to wash hands in the nearby laundry. It is basic and needs updating!

Netley is on a large block - it is set back from the street with a big back yard (with youthful maple, crab apple and pear trees).

The fire pit and outdoor shelter is an additional area to congregate...watch the sun set and warm by the fire.

Netley is best suited to five guests and council permitted to accommodate this number.

It is a short, level stroll to the superb walking and bike paths along the Quart Pot creek.

Families with children will enjoy the nearby playgrounds and opportunities for bikes / scooters along the creek. The public swimming pool and library are 5 minutes' walk from Netley.

Other groups will enjoy the short walk to the art gallery and the attractions of the main street (a strong coffee at Brinx and a pastry from Zest are highly recommended at the start of your day).
