This is the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life, as well as a great spot for all things outdoors such as ice fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, sledding and more! We're just across the way from East Rush Lake and minutes from downtown Rush City. Come and watch the sunset from your private deck while you relax at this cozy little cabin! Please note, Pine Lake is a small, shallow lake for non motorized watercraft (which we provide). Fishing is not productive, but it’s great to take the boats out and have fun. There is great fishing across the street on East and West Rush Lake. Swimming is also not advised due to the abundance of lily pads and cattails. There are many options for swimming nearby if that is of interest.

THE SPACE:
Walk-out lakefront access, four 2-person paddleboards (that can also be used similarly to kayaks), a 100" projector screen, knotty-pine walls, modern and fresh renovations, and comfortable furnishings, all complete the Pelican Bay Cabin.

Enjoy this entire cabin with modern amenities and charm, all while maintaining the comfort, flexibility, and privacy of a vacation home.

The cabin is just minutes from local wineries and vineyards, apple and pumpkin orchards, breweries, restaurants, outdoor adventures in St. Croix and Taylors Falls, the quaint downtown Lindstrom, skiing at Wild Mountain and Taylor's Falls, and so much more.

Given that the cabin is in a bay, we are fortunate to enjoy a plethora of wildlife year-round. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat that includes walk-out lakefront access to one of the most sought-after lakes in the region and abundant wildlife, this IS the place for you.

The reason wildlife seek out this bay is due to its LACK of sandy beaches. If you are looking for a sand-covered beach, this is NOT the place to stay.

RING DOORBELLS:
We utilize Ring video doorbells for our guests' safety. This also allows us to ensure the booking details are accurate -- if more people than are listed attempt to check in, or someone other than the person who made the reservation checks in, we'll be alerted.

PETS:
We can accommodate 1 dog per reservation upon approval only. Your dog must be on the reservation with the DAILY pet fee ($50 PER night) paid prior to arrival or you will be subject to an additional charge plus the nightly pet rate.

The Lindstrom Cabin is a place to escape the noise and bustle of life. Keeping the noise down allows for you to hear all of the amazing wildlife and keeps the neighborhood the lovely, peaceful place it is. If you are here to throw a party or stay up until all hours of the night outside, I am afraid you have found the wrong place.

This is a Cabin with that up north feel; a place to relax with the whole family. Enjoy wildlife out the back door. Bring your ATV/UTV's or sleds to enjoy trails just a few miles away or to ride some trails on almost 8 acres. Bunk house available from April to October for an additional fee.
You may bring your pet with for an additional fee. If you do not check in your pet an additional fee may apply. Kennels are provided.
The cabin has one bedroom with a queen/twin bunk, the living room has a queen pull out sofa sleeper, and the bunkhouse has two sets of bunk beds. One is a queen/twin and one is a twin/twin.

Boat launch information for summer bookings:
Goose Lake is part of a chain of lakes. If you have questions about the boat launch or water levels, please reach out and we're happy to help provide additional information! The boat launch is on the smaller Upper Goose Lake, which is joined to Lower Goose Lake, where our cabin is located. You will need to cross under a small bridge that connects the two lakes. We recommend the private boat launch 'Goose Lake Narrows Resort' (1450 Goose Lake Narrows, Stanchfield, MN 55080), for $7.00 fee.

This one level living features a kitchen, dining area, living room, 3/4 bath, laundry, and two bedrooms.
The master bedroom features lots of natural light, a king-sized bed with a sliding glass door that walks out to the lake, nightstands with usb charging outlets and plug-ins, closet, and a large flatscreen smart TV (no cable is available, but log onto your accounts and stream content).
The second bedroom features a queen-sized bed and a closet.
The dining area has a table that can be expanded with a leaf if you need extra space.
The living area has a large comfy couch for lounging on after enjoying the lake or gathering with the family to watch a show on the large flatscreen smart TV.
The bathroom features a large walk-in shower with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash provided. The towels are extra-large and very soft and plush.
The laundry (washer & dryer) has detergent provided as well as dryer balls.
The kitchen is full of cooking utensils for any chefs staying here. Please do not hesitate to inquire about what we have available.
Outside there is a patio with a charcoal grill (charcoal provided) and grilling utensils.
A dock is available should you want to bring your own boat (the public boat launch is two blocks away). If you don’t have a boat, a pontoon can be available to rent from a business just down the road.
For those with infants/young children, we have a highchair and pack-n-play available for free as well-please just let us know when booking.
A blow-up mattress is available if you have 6 guests, please let us know if you need this when booking.

A camera is located viewing the garage and driveway area (east viewing) This area of the yard is rarely used by guests except when coming and going. The purpose of the camera is to monitor vehicle traffic due to local ordinances. The camera is NOT in an area that it will violate your privacy at all. If you have any concerns at all, please do not hesitate to ask.

Although we would love to be there to check you in, we are a self check-in hotel. This means we will not be present at check-in but f you need anything please send us a message via the messaging app on Airbnb VRBO, other platforms or give us a call at 320-318-0493.

Hotel Amenities:
We offer free parking in our back parking lot. Feel free to park out front and unload your luggage and return to the back parking lot when you are all set. From Oct.1-March 31st we have winter parking laws in place and guests are not allowed to park in the front of the building at any time or you will be ticketed or towed.

We also offer two EV charging stations that are designated just behind the kitchen.

On the second floor you will find a Coffee Bar where we offer a variety of different flavored coffee, tea and hot chocolate. There are several grab and go breakfast items if you are in a hurry and need to run. Please help yourself.

Don't forget to try the restaurant located on the first floor. Lil' Mable's Table. They offer a variety of homecooked meals with a southern twist. If you have any questions about the restaurant please call them direct at 320-318-0667.

Check in time is 4pm check out time is 11am
Quiet time is 10pm- 8am.
Pets allowed with permission and fees. All pet owners must agree to and abide by the hotel pet policy. We do not allow cats.
