Visit Ki-Chi Saga Park just down the street! The centerpiece of this park is the Karl Oskar House, an original 19th century Swedish immigrant house recently restored by the Chisago County Historical society. There are 2 picnic shelters, a Children’s Play Structure, Volleyball (bring your ball), Horseshoes (Bring your horseshoes), nature hike and winter ski trail.

Wine Lover? Wine Haven is a 12-minute drive, as well as Dancing Dragonfly, and Chateau St. Croix 30-minute drive.

Wild Mountain is a 25-minute drive. In the summer, enjoy their water park, alpine slides and go-karts. And in winter you can ski, snowboard and snow tube.

Troll Hagen is a 25-minute drive, and has zip lines in the summer, and tubing, skiing and snowboarding in the winter.

In less than 10 Minutes you can visit the Pleasant Valley Orchard. Spend the summer strawberry picking and in the fall pick apples and pumpkins and go on a hayride. As it gets to the end of the year, go to their barn sale!

Like to Golf? Chisago Lakes Golf course is just a 5-minute drive from the cabin. It has 18 holes and a new pro shop, and was named one of the top 50 MN public golf courses.

South Center Lake is 835 acres in size. It is approximately 109 feet deep at its deepest point. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Black Bullhead, Black Crappie, Bluegill, Brown Bullhead, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Pumpkinseed, Walleye, Yellow Bullhead and Yellow Perch.
About North Center Lake:
North Center Lake is 725 acres in size. It is approximately 46 feet deep at its deepest point. Anglers can expect to catch a variety of fish including Black Bullhead, Black Crappie, Bluegill, Largemouth Bass, Northern Pike, Pumpkinseed, Walleye, White Sucker, Yellow Bullhead and Yellow Perch.

Kitchen has everything you'll need to cook or bake. A few actual steak knives would have been nice, but we made do. Large table was great for meals and games. Living room so cozy with extra pillows, blankets for movie watching. Lots of towels, travel size shampoo, conditioner, lotion were provided! So nice. Even beach towels were provided, we didn't realize that and brought our own. Only one of us swam, so no big deal. We spent time out at Winehaven winery and Common Loon Brewery. Ate out at the Stone Inn twice. Great Lobster Mac! Franconia Sculpture garden was fun and not far away. Chris was super easy to text and he responded promptly. We would definitely go back! Lower level is wheelchair accessible (kitchen, bedroom and bathroom) with a queen bed and the 2 upstairs bedrooms have king beds with each having a private balcony overlooking the lake (beautiful way to watch the sunrise). Full bath (tub) in the lower lever and a 3/4 bath upstairs with a spacious walk-in shower.

During the summer months enjoy a fire by the lake (firewood provided) or yard games (cornhole, croquet and horseshoes) Or spend some time on the lake with canoe, paddle boat or rent a pontoon right down the street. Guests are welcome to bring their own boat/watercrafts.

Kitchen is full of cooking utensils for any chefs out there, including a propane grill outside. Please don't hesitate to inquire about what we have available.

For those with infants/young children, we have a highchair and pack-n-play available for free as well - just let us know ahead of time.

A blowup mattress is available, by request.

2 external cameras are located on the exterior of the Northeast and Northwest corners that monitor the road, driveway and entrance to ensure local ordinances are being adhered to for number of vehicles and also to ensure the number of guests accurately match the booking. It was pure bliss and the ultimate way to recharge our batteries. We've stayed at many vacation rentals, but this one is hands down our all-time favorite. Terryll Bay is an old style home that was originally a grain building in the 1800’s. This unique home has shorter ceiling heights, narrow staircases and 3 levels with nooks and crannies for a comfy, cozy feel. Multiple window AC units provided (1 downstairs, 2 on main level, 2 upstairs). The home has been completely remodeled and updated with; large windows overlooking the bay, hardwood floors throughout, new kitchen and bathrooms, large patio with a 2 story gazebo, and a large deck, and 8 smart TV's throughout with Wifi accessibility throughout the home.

A short drive from the twin cities brings you to the wonderful city of Lindstrom. Feel right at home in this cozy 4 bed/2 bath home on North Center Lake.

Enjoy a hot cup of coffee in the morning while looking at the amazing lake views. Hop on one of the provided kayaks (we have 2) and take a relaxing trip around the lake or visit one of the five surrounding lakes through the different channels. Make a pit stop while on the lake at Grumpy's for some lunch or grab a slice of pizza from the pizza pub.

Spend all day outside in the spacious backyard playing yard games or sit by one of the two fire pits located on the property and have some s'mores!

Inside the property there are TVs located in each bedroom and plenty of boardgames to entertain during those rainy days. Check out the game room in the basement and play some foosball or air hockey.

In the fall there are ATV trails near the property that go on for miles or many beautiful hiking trails.

In the winter check out one of the many snowmobile trails located near the property or do some ice fishing.

Conveniently located not only the Twin cities but to many other fun areas only 15 minutes away from the house! The quaint town of Osceola, Fawn Doe Rosa, Wild Mountain, Fraconia Sculpture Park, Taylor's falls and much more!

●Quiet hours: Quiet hours on the property are from 10 p.m.–8 a.m particularly on the beach front and patios. Complaints from neighbors to hosts about guest noise levels during quiet hours will result in the guest forfeiture of their full security deposit.

●No Smoking: No smoking or vaping inside the house, including garage. Guests may smoke on the patio and on the grounds, but guest must clean up all cigarettes butts, cigar butts, etc. Any evidence of smoking inside the house will result in a guest forfeiture of their full security deposit. Guests will be charge $50 from their security deposit for any cigarette butts left on the patios, grounds, etc.

●Local Laws: You must follow local laws. No illegal activity on the property. Any reported illegal activity will result in a guest forfeiture of their full security deposit.

THE SPACE:
Walk-out lakefront access, four 2-person paddleboards (that can also be used similarly to kayaks), a 100" projector screen, knotty-pine walls, modern and fresh renovations, and comfortable furnishings, all complete the Pelican Bay Cabin.

Enjoy this entire cabin with modern amenities and charm, all while maintaining the comfort, flexibility, and privacy of a vacation home.

The cabin is just minutes from local wineries and vineyards, apple and pumpkin orchards, breweries, restaurants, outdoor adventures in St. Croix and Taylors Falls, the quaint downtown Lindstrom, skiing at Wild Mountain and Taylor's Falls, and so much more.

Given that the cabin is in a bay, we are fortunate to enjoy a plethora of wildlife year-round. If you are looking for a peaceful retreat that includes walk-out lakefront access to one of the most sought-after lakes in the region and abundant wildlife, this IS the place for you.

The reason wildlife seek out this bay is due to its LACK of sandy beaches. If you are looking for a sand-covered beach, this is NOT the place to stay.

RING DOORBELLS:
We utilize Ring video doorbells for our guests' safety. This also allows us to ensure the booking details are accurate -- if more people than are listed attempt to check in, or someone other than the person who made the reservation checks in, we'll be alerted.

PETS:
We can accommodate 1 dog per reservation upon approval only. Your dog must be on the reservation with the DAILY pet fee ($50 PER night) paid prior to arrival or you will be subject to an additional charge plus the nightly pet rate.

*No rabbits. No cats. No other animals allowed, even though we love them all.

The Lindstrom Cabin is a place to escape the noise and bustle of life. Keeping the noise down allows for you to hear all of the amazing wildlife and keeps the neighborhood the lovely, peaceful place it is. If you are here to throw a party or stay up until all hours of the night outside, I am afraid you have found the wrong place.

It is newly updated and has a great view of the bay from either siting on the sofa and drinking coffee or relaxing on the deck under a beautiful shade tree. It was clean and well equipped with what we needed for a long weekend. The hosts were great and I can’t wait to go back."

Welcome to this immaculate new 4,600+ sq. ft. executive built home on peaceful South Center Lake, only 45 minutes from the Twin Cities. This home features gorgeous vaulted ceilings with mountain inspired wood beams, an oversized kitchen island, 3-season porch with attached deck, walkout paver patio with lounge area, grill, Traeger smoker, foosball table, and pool table to offer many options for entertaining. Enjoy the lake all day with the sand beach, two included paddle boards, fire pit, and oversized dock for sunbathing, fishing, and boating. Bring your own boat, or rent from several options in the area. For added boating and fishing adventure, South Center Lake also connects to North Center Lake via a common channel that includes multiple restaurants on the lake with boat up dock access.

This stunning Lake Home is also located less than 15 miles from Taylors Falls, Trollhaugen Ski Area, and Wild Mountain if you are looking for added adventure during your stay. Also nearby are two local wineries, several amazing restaurants, local coffee shops and bakeries, and boutique shopping.

- "The house was wonderful, very clean, quality furnishings in all rooms! Easily accommodated multiple families with room for everyone. Easy check in- overall awesome stay!" - "This is a very beautiful home. With 5 bedrooms was great in providing a retreat for my family while attending a local wedding . Enjoyed the paddle boards, fire pit area, grilling, pool table and some ping pong. Has a nice dock with clean area of water around dock. You need your own life jackets . Newer built property with the bunk bedroom having the electrical breaker trip when trying to use the fan switch. Also tripped the breaker using the microwave once. Was used often, only tripped once. No hair dryers as reported but local store not far away. Easily talked with host who was surprised that there was not one at least in the master bath. Grocery store also very close. One recommendation would be to have a screen or partition to pull in front if the fireplace that is a full view into the master bedroom from the main living room . Did have some spices and oils supplied for cooking. Coffee was also stocked along with espresso machine."
