- "Our family had a blast during our stay. The game room downstairs was a big hit for our kids - they loved the dartboard, the foosball table, the table shuffleboard and especially the vintage arcade games. Owner was super responsive when we were trying to figure out how to use the TV. We would definitely recommend it to others!" - "Location was great for our tournament at NSP and the neighborhood was central to any amenities that we needed or excursions we took to MOA, Minnehaha Falls, or Lake Excelsior. The house was spacious and the girls loved the basement area. There were tons of towels which was great and the washer/dryer was key. Would we stay here again? Yes! However, there were a couple of things that could be improved: the cleanliness and providing a few more staples. The bathroom had mold in the shower (the red kind that can easily be removed with bleach spray) and the kitchen was a bit dirty (floors and oven), I also found things in drawers and even found a used tampon under the downstairs bathroom sink...gross! Also, for allowing up to 8 guests to stay, there was only one roll of paper towels provided and not enough toilet paper - we had to buy our own. I've not had to do that in other vrbo's. Lastly, the kitchen could definitely use a few extra staples...mixing/salad bowls (there was one cracked plastic one), a larger pot for pasta, just more basics, more utensils since it's supposed to house 8 (there were only 6 of us), and it might be time for new pans - they were pretty scratched up and destroyed. It was also a little unsettling that the back door was broken and didn't lock and was "locked" with a branch. Other than that the beds were comfy, a/c was great, large TV was awesome, and the place served our needs - we just had to get a little creative in the kitchen. "

Upon arrival, you will find the keys in a lockbox located near the main entrance. The key works for the top deadbolt. The lockbox code will be provided. There is a key for you to use as you come and go on the dresser in your bedroom.
Your space is the ENTIRE lower level 😊 You can lock the door from the inside. The home owners may or may not be in the upper level of the house.
Please remember to return the keys to the lockbox upon check-out and leave the spare key on the dresser in the bedroom.. Failure to return the keys may result in a replacement fee.
💡Lights:
The light switch for the main room is located at the bottom of the stairs. Please be sure to turn them all the way off when you leave and also the 2 lights above the fireplace.

It is a second floor apartment above the garage (so there are some steps). It is furnished with every thing you need for a relaxing stay. There is a queen bed in an open concept bedroom with availability to use a foldaway bed for another person, if requested.

Access is around the garage with door to the apartment on the deck. Key is in a lock box at entrance.
You will have access to a large deck with 4 person table and a gas firepit table with glass rocks to sit around and relax.

- "This property was absolutely ideal for our needs! We were in Blaine for a soccer tournament, and staying here provided us with plenty of space to unwind and recharge between games. The kids loved interacting with the farm animals and had a blast at what they called the "beach" or the "sports barn." Enjoy this private, spacious, 2 story home on a large lot surrounded by woodland and minutes from great restaurants, shopping, golf, wedding venues, and entertainment.

Prepare yourself a delicious meal in the fully stocked kitchen or on the large BBQ on the oversized deck. This home offers two separate living areas, one with a gas fireplace and the other with a 55" OLED TV.

This home is on a quiet road that is great for walks and watching for turkeys and deer.
The space
You will have plenty of seating when dining in. There is a table in the kitchen that can seat 8 with the leaf in, 3 barstools at the island, and seating for 6 in the formal dining room.

In the oversized master bathroom you can enjoy a glass of wine in the jacuzzi tub.

Guests have access to the main floor and second story of the house. The basement is not available and will be locked (no one will be staying in the basement, it is just storage.)

All bedrooms have blackout shades, as do the living rooms. There are extra bed linens available in the closets.

Sit on the front porch to enjoy the view of woods across the street or enjoy the Minnesota seasons from the deck in back.

There is room for 3 cars to park at the top of the driveway and many more can park behind them in the driveway. Guests will not have access to the garage. Street parking is also allowed.

Walk the woods at nearby Loch Ness Park and fish, play disc golf or enjoy the views from the hill. You’ll be amazed how close to downtown you are, yet your seclusion will make it all seem so far away. Golf courses and soccer fields a few minutes away.

Enter the front door and take in the spaciousness of the open floor plan combining the living, dining and kitchen. Take some deep breaths as you look up at the 20 ft high ceilings. Sit by the gas fireplace and look out the massive windows at nature that surrounds you all around. Hungry and creative? Our well-stocked gourmet kitchen has 2 ovens, additional warming oven, 6 burners, 3 sinks, reverse osmosis drinking water, center island with 5 bar stools. Watch the wildlife as you prepare your favorite dish.
Need more relaxing? Our new 8 person spa-hot tub has 112 stainless steel jets, combined with 2 6hp pumps that massage and comfort your body and soul, melting tension and stress.

If you want some entertainment, there is a new 75” TCL Roku TV with an incredible Dolby Atmos sound system that will make you think you’re in a luxury theater. Streaming or gaming is buffer free with 1200 Mbps Xfinity internet speeds.

Whether naptime or bedtime, escape to your bedroom. Each bedroom is uniquely designed and comes with its own private bath, (walk-in closet in MBR & Red Room) Roku TV and beautiful views.

If it’s the MASTER SUITE, you’ll have your personal retreat within a retreat. 20 ft. high ceiling, sitting area, 55” Roku TV, plus your own jacuzzi tub that looks out to the woods.

We have a SEASIDE ROOM. This bedroom has seashell wainscoting, nautical design and a trundle bed with a foldaway bed.

The RED ROOM has it's own walk-in closet, Apple TV , queen bed and private bath.

The GOLD ROOM extends onto the deck, has windows on 3 sides with amazing views, queen bed, 58' Roku TV and private bath.

The UPSTAIRS UNIT has it's unique privacy being separated from the downstairs. It includes a kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. The views are magnificent.

There are 4 foldaway beds for your use, bringing sleeping capacity to a total of 14 people. These beds may be placed at your discretion. Each foldaway bed, including linens have an additional charge of $10 per night per foldaway.

There is an enormous patio/deck for relaxation and eating. There is a BBQ grill and various table/chair combinations.

You’ll have access to everything EXCEPT: the attached garage and the detached 4 stall garage. Arrangements with additional costs can be made for the non-access areas. Please contact the hosts.
Other things to note
Having the entire lower and upper levels provide you with a LOT of room to move around in. The upstairs is it's own private apartment complete with full kitchen, laundry, bedroom and living room.

This beautifully renovated 5,000 sq. ft home is within a 4-minute walk of the PGA 3M Open Clubhouse. This is THE closest rental location available to the entrance to the 3M Open. If convenience is a priority to you and your guests, this is the location for you.

Overlooking the 10th Fairway, this is a perfect location to make home base for the tournament week – for a single player, a group or a family. With two master bedrooms – one on the top floor and one on the lower level of the house overlooking the gardens, complete privacy is possible for those who desire it. For those with a large group or family, the additional bedrooms can accommodate those needs as well.

Previously, our renters have told us that this has been an ideal property for their needs. With the 3 large Living Rooms, beautiful yard and gorgeous views from the yard looking onto the pond and the course behind -- it has been a perfect place for entertaining high-end clients and customers, as well as just relaxing at the end of a long day of golf. If a family is making this location home for the week, the home has toys, bikes, a train table, and games. If it is an adults-only crowd, all of those can be stored away out of sight, for a more sophisticated look.

From a logistics perspective, there is a laundry room on site, as well as a second refrigerator for ease in catering large gatherings. The grill and propane powered fire pit (fire table) are also available for use. Catering and delivery companies have found the home easy for serving and set up, with easy access in and out – if entertaining is a priority for your week. In case of an emergency or issue with the home, there are contacts available within a five-minute drive to assist.

One note, the deck was being redone, and has been delayed, so will not be available for use. The full walk out patio with new gas grill can be set up as an eating area or with couches and fire pit.
