The master bedroom has a king size Sentra hybrid 1 mattress with all new, hotel quality, bedding and sheets. The remaining two bedrooms are also furnished with new, hotel quality, beds and bedding. The large living room with a vaulted ceiling has a new leather sectional couch for your comfort including a large Smart TV. The dining room, which seats eight, looks out onto the deck with a beautiful view of the wooded backyard. The kitchen has a real brick floor and is fully equipped with all your needs to cook or bake.

The construction and the decor of this house reflect both of our professional strengths, mine in decorating and Ron’s as a building contractor. For 26 years I’ve also worked part time as a massage therapist. Ron and I are involved in many ongoing volunteer projects. I work with mentally challenged adults and Ron, a Vietnam Veteran himself, volunteers on veterans projects. We both enjoy people and are looking forward to this new adventure.

This home has two separate entrances. While we live in the lower level, we value your privacy. You will not see us except by request or during lawn care or snow removal.

Semi-Private Entrance
Upon arrival, you will find the keys in a lockbox located near the main entrance. The key works for the top deadbolt. The lockbox code will be provided. There is a key for you to use as you come and go on the dresser in your bedroom.
Your space is the ENTIRE lower level 😊 You can lock the door from the inside. The home owners may or may not be in the upper level of the house.
Please remember to return the keys to the lockbox upon check-out and leave the spare key on the dresser in the bedroom.. Failure to return the keys may result in a replacement fee.
💡Lights:
The light switch for the main room is located at the bottom of the stairs. Please be sure to turn them all the way off when you leave and also the 2 lights above the fireplace.

Welcome to our expansive lakefront retreat! Its sandy, clear beachfront is the perfect destination for families, friends, and large groups. The home features 5 bedrooms, plenty of beds and sleeping areas, breathtaking views of the lake, a sauna, and a hot tub.

We have fishing gear, a pontoon for rent ($300/day), volleyball, cross-net, badminton, cornhole, beach swimming, and endless outdoor activities.

The fully equipped kitchen is ideal for gatherings for friends and family.

The Space:
The space is everything you dream of when it comes to a lake home. Crystal-clear waters, a pristine sandy beach, and tons of areas to lounge, relax, and play outside and indoors.

There are two king bedrooms, one queen bedroom, and two bunk rooms (the first has two full bunk beds and a twin bunk bed and the second has two full bunk beds). There are 12 beds plus a fold-down bed and two queen air mattresses at the home.

We also have a private chef who can offer in-home premium experiences — either indoors or outdoors. These services are a separate fee and can include tablescapes, cocktails, wine pairings, old fashioneds & cigars, as well as a variety of other experiential combinations. This is the perfect way to gather around the table with friends and family.

We were a bit out of breath every time we had to "climb" back to the house. Plus that net is a tripping hazard - Conclave of bees in the flowers down by the lake. We did not realize it and someone got stung on the foot as she tried to step over the flowers into the water. - The dining room chairs were not meant for anyone over a women's size 14, since the backs curl in on the sides to cut into your hips. Luckily we could drag in kitchen table chairs, but it's embarrassing and uncomfortable. - Despite a hefty cleaning rate, we were still expected to strip our linens, start laundry, wash/dry/AND put away dishes, and drag trash down a super long driveway. Hosts should have to pick one or the other. Despite cons, we would go back again. It was wonderful to have such a large space with such wonderful lake access."

- "We rented George's apartment for my parent's visit to Minnesota to see us and the grandkids. Check in and check out were very straightforward. It is an adorable and cozy apartment that was completely clean and looks just as pictured. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and basics like spices. It would comfortably sleep 4 adults, and would be great for a family with a pet (there was even a set of pet bowls in the kitchen). Parking was extremely easy right by the door to the building. It was super convenient to have the option to use either physical keys (for my less tech savvy parents) or the electronic key pad (for me, so I didn't need a set of keys when picking them up or stopping by). My parents only had one issue during their stay (a clogged shower drain) and it was resolved by George immediately and without issue as soon as we notified him. George is awesome at staying in communication throughout your stay. The only recommendation I would make is putting a nice fan in each of the bedrooms. With the wall unit AC in the living room, it stayed pretty toasty in the bedrooms. In fairness, it was unseasonably hot for Minnesota the week they were here, so another time it probably would not have been an issue at all. I would gladly have my parents stay here again on their next visit."
