The front desk staff understood that the error was a miscommunication thru Expedia's search, so they were fine with it. My cat is chill, doesn't scratch, so they allowed it. Even let me extend the checkout time, as I was busy until 2:00 PM. So my cat was safe in the room until I concluded school that day."

Housekeeping was to change bedding on 3rd day! Never happened! Actually they didn’t show up at ALL! Had to go to front desk to get towels the night shift girl came up and got our garbage, I even had to go down to the front desk for toilet paper 2 days in a row, none was left in room. A bit embarrassing I would say !!!! At check out the morning of Feb 19 I voiced my concerns at the front desk and the woman didn’t even acknowledge me, no I’m sorry for the inconvenience she handed me my bill and walked away!! The girl that helped me the night housekeeping didn’t show up was very apologetic and helpful, hats off to her!!!"

Our newest on-site amenity: Amish built, Nordic Style, Wood-Burning Sauna! Guests of the Kinni Cottage now have access to the tradition of the Nordic Cycle. The practice of participating in the heat of a sauna followed by a cold plunge in the nearby Kinni River.

As an operating farm with caretakers on-site, you have the opportunity to collect fresh eggs, pick seasonal produce and herbs, and choose from a variety of farm products from Green Pastures Family Farm and neighboring farms. (Farm product availability varies with season) Paddle the upper Kinnickinnic River right into River Falls from the farm. Or just find a place to unwind and watch the days go by. - "We had a blast at this property as a family vacation of 15. Host was great. This property has a lot of great features you don't see in other properties, unique. Beds and baths were very comfortable, was well equipped and great open area for the whole family to be together. The lake provided us kayaking, paddle boarding, swimming, and fishing, all hours of fun and equipment on site. Loved the the rooftop patio, the deck, theater room and sauna. The guest house has 2 of the rooms. 2 of the rooms in the house don't have walls to the ceiling which you can see in pictures so those 2 not as private as other rooms. The 2 suites were great and then a bedroom near the walk out basement and theater room. We all loved it and would all love to come again, for the size of our family (not all could make it) I think it would be a tight squeeze. We didn't want to leave! Unless you are a snob about a few little things I promise you will love this place."

The single kayaks maneuver better in the shallow, rock-filled water. The 8-mile trip from River Falls to Kinnickinnic State Park takes most people about 3 hours, though many like to get out and picnic or swim from sandbars.
