The house has a very open layout living room, kitchen and dinning flow into each other. There are 2 bedrooms, queen size bed in the lake-facing one and one queen and one twin bed in the other. From the bedroom and living room there are big sliding doors onto a large deck with amazing views of the lake with a large table, chairs, and lounge chairs, there is another 3 tiered deck enow with a fire-it, grill ad lounge chairs. Two docks for swimming into the lake and a gazebo to enjoy the beauty of the Landscape. There are solar panels on the roof.
The house has 2 bathroom, one full and one half, there is a hairdryer, a washer and dryer in the basement.
There is excellent WiFi and a smart tv.
The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, and granite counter tops.
Coffee drip, keurig, nespresso machine, milk foamer, toaster, water keddle are on the counter top.
There is an iron and board (basement)in one of the large closets and hangers and plenty of storage space for clothes.
Heating and cooling is regulated with a thermostat and there are separate heaters in each room, central air conditioning.
The land around the house is beautiful with may areas to sit, benches and hammock , about an acre right on the water. A tandem kayak, paddle board and kayak is available for water excursions and there is a row boat that accommodates 4. I have life jackets, 2 adult, 2 children. The beautiful cedar dock gets you into the water, best entrance is the dock behind the gazebo to the right of the property, or just hanging out at the water, there is a daybed right next to the dock, just below the houses at the water.
Parking is in front of the house and there is additional parking on a lot next to the house. The magic is in the light and the restful energy of the house. We do our best to use eco friendly soap and cleaning supplies, it is important to us that the house is clean energetically and dirt wise. We care about sustainability and respect of nature and do not want to harm especially children or pets, that is why we do not use any kind of poison inside or outside the house, for that reason please forgive the possibility of a bug or an ant. thank you.
The house is very well located between New Paltz and Kingston, there are many amazing restaurants and stores, Woodstock and Rhinbeck are only a few minutes more or you can enjoy sitting at the water and chill.
I decorated the house with my art. Fabric sculptures and paintings.
The house is perfect for 2 and may be 5. The living room is small. The kitchen table pulls out.
the water quality of the lakes and rivers upstate can vary this is mostly a problem in the drought season end of July, when there is limited water flow. I test the water regularly during this time and in general to make sure its safe,
I swim in it, we all do ! The water feels soft and fresh. All my tests came out good this year 2022, meaning no contamination, testedJuly 2023 no contamination, 6/6/24 , 7/18/24, 6/18/25, 7/19/25, test shows no contamination of ecoli

The house was very comfortable, and Gisela was super-responsive, even coming out at one point for a special request we made. Bella Vista is family owned vacation property that sleeps between 12- 16 people & you can not have any more then 18 people (including children) at any given time. Come enjoy it for the weekend or holidays and make memories to last a lifetime!

Forget about a hotel room in crowded noisy Manhattan & bring your friends or family just 90 minutes upstate and make memories for such a low rate (2 night minimum -4 nights at different times if year holiday pricing differs) which includes 5 sleeping spaces - 5th sleeping space opens into a finished basement Children can be accommodated in many different ways (including single beds, daybeds & aero beds.
There is a rainbow play system on our property in our front yard.
We are located on 10 acres of land with a large grass area for the kids to run & play.

Check in at 4pm and check out at 11am (email to pre-approve other time arrangements in advance if available).

PLEASE NOTE: There is NO SMOKING of any kind inside of the home (cleaning fees are doubled if you break this rule) & only small dogs under 20 pounds are permitted for a small fee.

The estate overlooks the Hudson Valley & Catskill Mountains & is located less than 30 minutes from downhill skiing and hiking in the Catskill Mountains and 15 minutes from the elevated Walkway Over The Hudson with its miles of paved bike trails connecting Poughkeepsie to New Paltz. Other nearby hiking, cross-country skiing and paddling opportunities are the Black Creek Forest Preserve, Shaupeneak Ridge, John Burrough's Slabsides, Mohonk Preserve, Minewaska State Park the Wallkill and Rondout Creeks, Horse back riding and of course, the Hudson River. There is really so much to do & see.

This 30’ diameter Yurt is a stunning space to rejuvenate and be in nature.
You will hear the sound of the waterfall across, and take long walks on the 120 acre property.
Vibrant nature with turkey and deer visitors, hummingbirds and hawks, foxes and eagles, you will be in good company!
The Yurt sleeps 4, one queen size bed and 2 twin size bed plus sofa pull outs, that are twins .
It is one open space with a large circular skylight in the center of the ceiling that floods the space with light and 4 glass windows, the bathroom is a room inside the yurt with a shower, sink and toilet.
The Yurt has its own well and it located on 120 acres that you are welcome to hike.
The circular shape is very comforting, it makes you feel hugged.
The ceiling in the center is 14’ high.
Grill ,small fridge under counter, large toaster oven and 3 cooking plates, plus more induction cooking plates are hanging on the wall. You can use them anywhere , coffee maker, tea water heater, spices, cookware, silverware, table ware… grill, all you could possibly need is available to you.
This Yurt is a tent-like circular structure built out of wood beams and wall lattice covered with fabric and isolation, the floor is engineered wood, and there are 5 wall panels that are built out of wood for windows and entrance door. Please don’t book this place if you are afraid of animals. you are in nature and there are many little insects, spiders, ants and mice, and rarely but possible a black snake ( not poisonous and shy)… it’s natural you’re in a tent.There are deer turkey, foxes and eagles ...
So if You have an issue with mice spiders ants and so on I will not give you a refund, but I’m happy to help just reach out to me. thank you for understanding.
Snow and yurt : the yurt heats up very nice
I have the driveway snowplowed, but that does not mean it's always safe.
Be prepared if there is a snowstorm or ice storm that you have to park your car at the main rd and walk down the driveway, its about a 5 min walk. if you decide to drive down anyway and get stuck, it will cost about $350 to get you out.
There is a medicine wheel out in front of the lawn and a fire pit.
you are close to New Paltz and Kingston 10 to 15 min, Woodstock 30min Rhinebeck 30 min. The best of both worlds
Please know that the water fall and all the water seen on the pictures have more or less water depending on season, if there is a drought there will be no water in the streams. Please collect your wood for the fire pit in the Forrest or bring it , Because of the intense woodburning amount I cannot longer provide the outside which I do provide it would bricks for the wood burning oven inside. Please only use the inside and not for the outside fire pit thank you

- "My husband and I celebrated our anniversary at this beautiful property with our dog! We had never stayed in a Yurt so we were cautiously optimistic! Directions to the property were perfect and the exterior was very inviting! There is a large grassy area with hammocks and lawn chairs that overlook a babbling brook and nearby waterfall. The deck was beautifully decorated with lights, Adirondack chairs, a grill, extra wood and tables. We gained entry through the lock box and entered an exquisitely designed space that had all the amenities necessary. The temperature was easy to control with heat or air conditioning and surprisingly no bugs or mosquitos! There are plenty of hiking trails nearby and tourist sites within 30 minutes if the peace and tranquility of the Yurt isn’t enough. I would highly recommend this stay to anyone looking to decompress and reconnect with nature!"

A healing space.

An artist dream loft is filled with light and shapes, color and patterns, -overlooking a beautiful pond with a waterfall.
The loft is a large open space with high ceilings, wood floors. A perfect space to explore, dance, yoga or just enjoy the open flow of light reflected from the pond below on my fabric sculptures. It is a very uplifting space and filled with good energy.
Facing east there is a large window wall for the morning sunrise and in the west, for the sunset, 3 sets of French doors and 2 windows. The 3 French doors open to a wraparound deck with lounge chair and teak dinning table, chairs and gas grill, overlooking a beautiful pond with a waterfall. There are benches and swings on the land to sit, and a fire pit to enjoy fires at night, seating close to the pond and a bridge over s small stream. The pond is swimmable and we just installed a new floating dock to swim to. We only use solar energy.
There are 2 tables to create, draw, sculpt or write. The house has Wi-Fi, air conditioning and heating.
You will find yoga mats and pillows for meditation and many blankets in one of the closets.
There is no TV, only nature channel.
The kitchen has a regular size refrigerator and stove.
There are 2 queen size beds, one directly in the open space with headboard and one accessible with a ladder as a loft bed above the bathroom. It’s a tight space. There is a futon sofa that can be used for sleeping, one person and i keep an inflatable bed in the closed. You have to be skilled on ladders to feel comfortable. The bathroom has a large shower.
Most of the cleaning supplies are environmentally friendly, the soaps organic and I left you some treats here and there.
There is coffee maker, toaster, espresso maker, mixer, all you could need for dishes or cookware, the cookware is stainless steel, I tried to think of everything to make your stay meaningful and comfortable and if I forgot something please let me know!
The mattresses and linens are super comfortable.
The electricity is all solar.
The artist dream loft is part of 3 buildings on 30 acres of land with 2 ponds, you can hike through the forest to a totally secluded second pond with a dock for swimming access. This pond has an island. The land is beautiful. I am a beekeeper and so there will be honeybees and part of my family 2 horses, Jest and jewel and a husky, called Zula
There is a small orchard in front of the studio with fruit trees.
You can park in front of the house. You are just between New Paltz and Kingston, a very central location not far from Woodstock or Rhinebeck.
Hiking, swimming, playing and resting, or just being,
creating a new project, or healing from a crazy life, it's a good space for all of it.

I make my own remedies from plants in my garden, I have put some of them in the loft for you, my hope is that you take advantage of the healing potential that the space has to offer.
I live in one of the 3 buildings the first one, painted orange, the second building is a green barn that a friend of me lives in, the third one is the dream loft. The loft is about 1300 square feet in size.

Wonderful hiking, mountain biking, and multipurpose rail trails nearby. 15 minutes to Walkway over the Hudson, less than an hour to Hunter Mountain and Bellayre ski areas. One hour to Catamount and Wyndham ski areas. Nearby attractions include the Headless Horseman and Polar Express.

- "My family of 5 has stayed here twice now. The house is always very clean and the hosts are very responsive. The beds are very comfortable, and my son especially appreciated that the pull-out sofa had a special pillow-top to put on top of the mattress, making it very comfortable. On our most recent stay, the hosts took care of a small problem immediately and checked in with us for the remainder of our stay to make sure we were all set. - "We were a group of 16, four siblings with our mostly adult kids and a few significant others. We get together every summer for a reunion weekend and were thrilled to find a house big enough to hold all of us. The biggest plus to this house is that almost all bedrooms have a private bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for meals and having two dishwashers and two refrigerators was a great help. We enjoyed spending time on the big front porch and took advantage of the fire pit in the back yard on our last night. My only feedback would be about the twin beds. Everyone who had a queen or king bed had a very comfortable bed but the same could not be said about the twins. They seem to be intended more for small children and our 20 somethings would have preferred mattresses that were a little softer. That being said, everyone loved the house, the secluded location where we had plenty of room to enjoy ourselves and most of all that we were all together under the same roof. We are definitely planning a return trip to the Jewel House!"

That being said, we had 8 people there and still felt like the house had tons of space and no one was cramped. Incredible craftsmanship on all of the parts of the house that were remodeled and updated. Bathrooms (3 of them) were incredible. Plus, the location is superb. Up on top of a mountain and it feels secluded but 10-15 min to New Paltz or Kingston for all the cute shops and things to do. We're already planning our trip back!"

The space
The Church was built in 1876 and is featured in a chapter of the book Staatsburg: A Village Lost in Time by Anthony P. Musso. The main living space is the former sanctuary which is open and airy and receives wonderful amber light through the original glass-paned windows. Its acoustics are phenomenal. A cozy corner nook has a gas fireplace with a rocking chair. The main bedroom has a very comfortable queen bed with a door that opens to a small front porch. The den bedroom has a writing desk, a couch that pulls out to a bed, and bookshelves full of reading material from Japanese haiku and other poetry to visual art books. There is a flat-screen television and Apple TV with high-speed wifi throughout. An enclosed sun porch provides a quiet room for reading or resting in spring and summer.

The house has central heating and AC as well as a backup generator.

Getting here
Between two train stations: a 12-minute drive (Amtrak - Rhinecliff) or 20 minutes (Metro North - Poughkeepsie). The property is just under a 2-hour drive from NYC, 10 minutes to the town of Rhinebeck, 10 minutes to Hyde Park, and 20 minutes to Poughkeepsie.

Things to do
There are plenty of walks and hikes nearby, including Mills Mansion and a walk along the Hudson River.A short walk to Rhinebeck is a 10-minute drive, and the Omega Institute for Holistic Studies is a 15-minute drive. Bikes and paddle boards are available for use. Plenty of antique shops are nearby to peruse, and wonderful places to get a massage or have a spa day in Rhinebeck and Hyde Park. The Staatsburg Public Library and Post Office are just down the street. Other outdoor activities include nearby pickleball courts, a public golf course, and kayaking. In summer, there are free outdoor weekly events at Mills and Vanderbilt Mansions.

Rest and renewal
The space is especially good for rest and healing. The main sanctuary space has a wonderful sound system. There are yoga cushions, blankets and mats, an acupressure foot massager, plenty of books to read on the sun porch, and, of course, the hot tub. Hummingbirds, songbirds, and bunnies are frequent visitors.

- "Absolutely loved the amenities provided at the Farmhouse. The interior of was exactly as advertised, and was perfect for my needs. Only area of improvement were the amount of wash cloths provided in the master bathroom (One). While there were plenty of towels upon looking for them, having access to more of the smaller, personal bath cloths would have been helpful. My one suggestion (not complaint) is the exterior of the home could be upgraded in some areas (stairs/open barn presentation). Aside from that I would give this location a 4.5."

Only around 1.5 hours from NYC, The Ulster Farmhouse is a bright 5-bedroom farmhouse with a wraparound deck sitting on 3 acres of gorgeous historic property. Our house is perfect for a weekend getaway or extended vacation with family or friends. Year-round, guests can soak in the outdoor hot tub, stargaze from the porch and roast marshmallows around our fire-pit. In the summer months, spend time camping, swimming, hiking, and grilling outside. During winter, enjoy nearby winter hiking, snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing.

Two floors, Five bedrooms—downstairs we have a full farmhouse style renovated kitchen, dining room and our luxurious gaming room with a piano. The master bedroom is downstairs, sporting a king bed, and a guest bedroom with a twin. Upstairs you will find the main living room with a huge open area, TV, Electric Fireplace, Bar, and Sonos speakers. All three bedrooms upstairs have queen size beds. Guests will find the home stocked with all the necessary amenities including towels, linens, kitchen basics and toiletries.

We’re also a quick 10 min to Historic Kingston and Rosendale, where there are tons of things to do including: seeing the Rondout Lighthouse, hiking the famous Rail Trail, heading off on a day trip to Rhinebeck or Hudson and visiting the many museums in the area.

Kingston was New York’s first capital in 1777 and became an important New York hub after the discovery of natural cement in the region. The Farmhouse is situated within a 10 minutes drive to many historical areas in town. We provide a guide with our favorite things to do in the area.

There is plenty of parking on our property, and it is best to have a car with you. A little trickier but you can take the bus or train up and use a local Taxi to get around. Uber/Lyft exist but are somewhat unreliable.

Note: All Holiday weekends require a 3-night minimum to book. Due to higher demand and costs, we are unable to accommodate the shorter stay on these dates.

ACCESS & KEYS
Use the code given to you at check-in to unlock the door walking up from the driveway. The door needs to be completely shut for the code to work. Press the lock button on the keypad to lock the door when leaving. A key for that door will be in the lockbox if you need to use it. Please try not to use the key, but if you need it, return the key to its original location.

MUSIC
If you’re on the WIFI, you can connect to our Sonos sounds system
which you can access through the Sonos app. Download it for free
in the App Store on your smartphone - iPhone or Android.

With Sonos, you can play music in the 2nd floor living room. You can also use the Sonos sound bar for the TV. Keep the noise levels down if you are playing music late at night.

PARKING
Only park in our driveway and not on the street or park across the street.

TRASH
Bring all trash to the bin at the end of the driveway upon check-out. Rinse all dirty recycling items and put them in the separate bin with the yellow top. We are unfortunately allotted a limited amount of trash per week, and will charge a $50 trash overage fee if additional trash is left outside of the dumpster.

BBQ GRILL
Confirm the propane valve is turned off after use. BBQ Utensils are
Located in the kitchen.

HEAT & AC
There is 1 Thermostat on each floor that should be set between 65-68 degrees on either heating or cooling depending on the time of year. We have programmed the Thermostats to always be in this range.

FIREPLACE
The fireplace is controlled via remote located on the wall next to the
Minibar, please make sure to always turn off the fire place when not in
use. The glass and metal around the fireplace gets extremely hot.
Be careful to never touch or lean anything against the fireplace.

PET POLICY
Pets must be pre-approved before. Any damage will be the renter’s full responsibility. Bringing a pet without prior approval will result in a loss of your security deposit.

SAFETY OUTSIDE
Always check for ticks at the end of each day after spending time in the woods - this is really important. Keep a lookout for poison ivy when hiking.

INFANTS
Be advised the house is not infant-proof. If you do bring an infant, please be very careful and always keep an eye on them.

HOT TUB
We are meticulous about making sure the hot tub is kept cleaned and maintained. Please help us keep the hot tub in good shape by following instructions.

-Do not sit on the hot tub lid.
-Please shower before entering the hot tub.
-No drinks in the hot tub.
-When you are not using the hot tub, always close the lid and buckle the straps.
-When you are done using the hot tub, put in 1 capful of the “Oxidizing Shock" after use. It is located in the storage box on the front porch.
-When you are done using the hot tub, turn the temperature down to 90 degrees.

TOWELS
At the end of your stay, start a wash with all the towels you used.
Use a little bit of detergent in the wash room on the “normal” setting. The washer / dryer is located in the hall on the second floor near the far bedroom to your right.

BEDS
Strip only the beds you use and leave the sheets next to the beds on the floor. Please do not strip the duvet covers.

DISHES
Place dirty dishes in the dishwasher and run a wash before you leave. Anything left over can be washed and left on the drying rack.

KEYS
If you used the keys, put them safely back in the lockbox with the
numbers scrambled. We charge $50 for re-keying all locks if keys
are not returned the same day as check out.

TRASH
Please bring trash from the kitchen to the bins on check-out. Don’t forget to take any trash that doesn’t fit in the bins with you.

LAST ITEMS
Please make sure the lights are off, windows are closed, and the door is locked upon check-out.

The space
Studio Suite The Hayes family built their home on Mirror Lake in upstate New York in 1959. We, your hosts Wesley and Mary Ann added an addition in 1998 for a family business. We have retired from our family business and have decided to share this beautiful property with others. A beautiful entire suite designed to help you renew and bring you peace, calm, joy and love. Yard is shared with your hosts.

2 and a half wooded acres and lovingly restored country house await you in the charming town of Esopus. Relax by the babbling stream, read a book on the large deck while deer graze in the orchard, or sit by the fireplace after a day of hiking and exploring. There is plenty of room for your family to roam with an upstairs bunkroom that sleeps 6 and a main floor bedroom with a queen bed. Both bathrooms and the kitchen have been renovated and updated with modern appliances while maintaining a charming old fashioned feel. The large dining room seats 8 and there is plenty of outdoor seating on the orchard facing deck and by the stream. The property is located in the Hudson valley with hiking, biking, river water sports minutes away. Quaint waterfront dining and shopping are within 10 minutes in the nearby town of Kingston, the charming town of Rosendale is 15 minutes away with more dining and shops, and New Paltz is 20 minutes away with all that it offers.

Contemporary 3 bedroom house (built 2023) surrounded by the Scenic Hudson Nature Preserve and Louisa Pond within a 5 min walk. Our home is an ideal place for your family to enjoy the natural beauty of Upstate NY while relaxing in the comforts of a light filled, lux designer house.

The space
The house was completed in 2023 designed by a local architect fitted with high end appliances and finishes.

The living space has a cathedral ceiling and open floorplan. The kitchen has a big island with counter seating for 2 and an induction cooktop. The dining table seats 8 comfortably. The house has a wrap around deck and covered porch with an outdoor sofa.

The Primary Suite includes a very separate and quiet bedroom, next to a luxurious bathroom with soaking tub and heated floors. The second bedroom has a full size crib and floor futon which is great for an older child. The 3rd bedroom has a single (twin) bed and electric keyboard. The loft is accessible by ladder and is a great place for kids to play or guests to spend the night (queen memory foam mattress).

The lower level has a den room with large sectional sofa that coverts into a queen pull-out bed. And a large TV. The lower level has a private office with large desk and B&W printer. Lower level has its own full bathroom.

The gym and sauna are located in the basement and include everything you need for a good sweat, Peloton bike, weights, mats and bench. Sauna heats up in 90mins. Cold plunge tub is next to sauna.

The house is located on just over 3 acres of naturally landscaped land. The grounds are hilly with areas of open fields, mowed lawn, paths and plenty of shade. The kids will love the hand built tree house and sand box. During the summer we set up our stock tank pool. A great place for kids to play and adults to cool off.

The back yard is set up for outdoor meals using the Napoleon gas grill or ooni pizza oven. Outdoor seating for 8.

House is great for kids it comes with lots of toys, books, high chair etc.

The house borders the Scenic Hudson Preserve with 10 miles of hiking trails and a spring fed pond just out the back door. House comes with a paddle board and canoe for the pond or to take on an adventure.
