Welcome to Klockarfjäll in Vemdalsskalet. On the entrance level you enter the large kitchen and the living room with ample space for cooking and hanging around the fireplace. Large dining table with seating for two families and a spacious sofa corner with armchair and coffee table. There is also a spacious bathroom with shower. Laundry room with boot storage is provided with separate entrance next to the entrance. If weather permits you go out onto the large balcony / patio with afternoon and evening sun and look out to the mountain world.

Downstairs there are three bedrooms with 8 beds and under the staircase there is an extra bed in the bedside chair. In the master bedroom there is an office tent bed 180x200 cm. Winter: From the house you take the skis on the shoulder and snap the skis after about 150 meters walk. After skiing, skis go all the way back with a couple of stops. If you want to dine outside on an evening at Restaurang Passet or Anorak, you are welcome to walk to and from the house about 400 meters. At Skalspasset there is also a ski shop with rental and sale of lift passes. The center of Vemdalsskal with a grocery store and other shopping is 2.5 km and takes 5 minutes by car. In winter, you can take the ski bus from Skalspasset to nearby Björnrike or Storhogna / Klövsjö. It takes 15-20 minutes with your own car.

For the cross-country skiers there are several very good options. A good starting point is the tram center in Vemdalsskalet. From here you can ride the beautiful crossroads to Björnrike and take a lap in their top tracks. You can also go elsewhere to Storhogna. In total there are 70 km of groomed trails in the area. There are also two trails of 2.5 and 5 km in close proximity to the house.

For the walkers there are countless trails and walks to discover. A good start is at the Jaktstugan above the center of the center. Here you can also ferret with both long-sleeved or slalom skiing to enjoy homemade waffles and other good.

If you buy a ski pass, it applies to the area's three facilities: Vemdalsskalet, Björnriket and Klövsjö/Storhogna, which together have 58 pistes and 35 lifts.

For those interested in snowshoeing, there are trails to connect to, as well as for cross-country skiing, where the Vemdalsskalet cross-country track center is only a fifteen-minute walk from the cabin. Both the cross-country trails and the snowmobile trails lead out onto Kalfjäll, where you have a fantastic view of the mountains. There are also several waffle huts and restaurants to warm up in and have as an excursion destination.

In summer, there are hiking trails of various degrees of difficulty, fine fishing waters, 2 golf courses and numerous bicycle tours and bicycles for rent. There is also a pump track and two float trails in the children's slope."

The cabin is secluded and quiet, but still only a couple of kilometers to the Björnrike ski area and close to the snowmobile trail. Fishing just a few hundred meters from the cabin.

Before entering the cabin, you can store your skis in the shed by the entrance. Once inside you have a hall with a cloakroom and entrance to the small bathroom with a sauna for 3 people. In the second bathroom you will find a washing machine and dryer. Functional older kitchen with most of what you need. Large living room with both fireplace and stove. Here you can enjoy both a cozy breakfast and dinner in front of a lovely fire with the whole family. The dining table can also be made larger with an additional table so that 10 people can sit. Here you also have access to the balcony with a view of a pond. There are four bedrooms in the cottage, one room with a double bed and one room with two single beds that can easily be moved together to make a double bed if desired. Two bedrooms with bunk beds and one of these also has a single bed.

The winter season lasts from as soon as there is snow but no later than 21/12 until a couple of weeks after Easter. Downhill skiing is available in Vemdalen's 3 different facilities with a common lift pass; Björnrike, Vemdalsskalet and Storhågna/Klövsjö. Between these ski areas runs the Snöpendeln. For those who want to go cross country skiiing, there are also prepared cross country and touring tracks here. There are also vessel tours, snowmobile safaris, dog sledding, horse and sleigh rides, ice climbing and pike fishing.

The summer and autumn season lasts from midsummer throughout September. The whole area has many nice trails for hiking, jogging and cycling. Great fishing opportunities with implanted noble fish. However, a fishing license is required. In Klövsjö there is both golf and soccer golf. Veman is only a short walk through the forest, where you can find opportunities for swimming, fishing and paddling.

Mountain riding is available in both summer and winter. Sonfjällets National Park is beautiful to experience in both summer and winter, and it's about 3 miles away.

Grocery store and restaurant are available in Björnrike during the winter season. During other seasons, you go to Vemdalen village. There are also shops, cinema, bowling and paddling hall.

The Härjedalingen bus from Stockholm stops approx. 1 km from the cottage at Björnrike.
