If it's full here, there's plenty of space at Mariebergsskogen a couple of minutes away. The owners live above the apartment. Smoking is prohibited in the apartment and they also request that guests do not smoke on the property. A short walk from this accommodation you will find the popular Marieberg Forest with animals, cafe/restaurant, museum and fantastic nature. Some of our biggest artists also come here during the summer, such as Håkan Hellström. Right next to Mariebergsskogen there is a sandy beach to swim at, also on the other side of the bay. 10 minutes' walk and you are in the middle of Karlstad with its rich culture and entertainment. Plenty of restaurants both next to the river/Vänern and in the center. Several shopping centers for those who feel like it, as well as bus/train to various destinations such as Stockholm, Gothenburg and Oslo. Or why not take the boat out to the islands in Vänern. Nice corner apartment in central Karlstad facing the courtyard. Only a short walk from the park, playground and family-friendly swimming with sandy beach in Kroppkärrssjön. When you enter the apartment, you have a nice kitchen on the left with a dining area for six people. A cozy bedroom with a comfortable double bed and a bedroom with two comfortable single beds. Large family room for cozy movie nights and the sofa can be made into a bed for 2 people. Glazed balcony with sliding window to let the sun in.

To see and do in Karlstad and the surrounding area

From the apartment, it is close to the beautiful Klarälven for exciting fishing trips and the start of the fantastic bike trail that runs along the river for about 80 km. Don't miss a visit to Sandgrund and artist Lars Lerin's unforgettable exhibition.

It only takes a few minutes to walk to the center. Shop, visit the Värmland museum or Brigard museum. Maybe have a coffee or lunch in town or why not have a good dinner at one of the many cozy restaurants.

Just outside Karlstad is Alsters Herrgård, which is Gustaf Fröding's memorial farm. Here you can look at the exhibition about Gustaf Fröding, have a coffee at the manor café and stroll around the beautiful park.

Live in a newly built house in the countryside close to the heart of the city! 15 minutes by car from the heart of Karlstad, you will find this beautiful villa with an expansive view of fields and paddocks with cows. You are welcomed to the site by a beautiful avenue that you drive through. When you get out of the car, you are greeted by a large lawn with a fantastic view. The villa was built in 2016 and exudes modernity. When you step up to the grand entrance and put the keys in the lock, you are met by a spacious hall. Directly on your right you have the house's bathroom with WC and shower. Straight ahead you will find the kitchen with modern white goods and everything you might need for a pleasant stay, such as a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, oven, microwave and food processor. From the kitchen you reach one of the bedrooms with an extra double bed. The large living room with luxurious seating is perfect for late nights in front of the TV, or why not put your legs up and read a book. Next to the living room is the house's second bedroom with a double bed. From here you can take advantage of your first cup of coffee and lie down and look out over the surroundings. From the living room you can reach the balcony, where you can sit under the cover of the roof on rainy days and just enjoy the silence and nature. The upper floor is currently not available as it is not yet furnished. The large lawn invites you to play ball or just roll out the blanket and enjoy the Swedish summer. In Karlstad, 15 minutes away by car, there is everything you could possibly want, such as restaurants, cinema, cafes and a large number of entertainment activities.
