Pleasant house in Nydalen, a peaceful area near Lake Vättern, the house is 500 m from the beach, which has its own jetty, barbecue area and shared sauna. Beautiful scenic surroundings with meadows and forests and nice walking paths. The house is located two miles south of Askersund and two miles north of Motala. A good starting point for other experiences and activities. Your four-legged friends are welcome at this accommodation. There are two balconies in different directions, one of which is covered, comfortable outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Plenty of space for socializing and playing both indoors and outdoors. Welcome to a rural charming red cottage with white knots where you can glimpse both moose and deer from the plot or the forest behind the house. - "I should have done my research since this place could not accommodate our SUP plans very well. To far away from water. The cottage is oddly located and have no lawn or access to activities. A little to low standard for us. We left after two days and the cottage was left empty. No refund since they had listed everything as expected according to description. I don’t agree. You can’t be successful every time. Land lord is nice but we just wanted something else."

The house, which was used in ealier times as an accomodation for chauffeurs, will be found at a farmstead from the year 1870 at a hill with lively agriculture around. The house has about 55 square meters and contains 2 rooms - one larger sleeping room with 4 beds and one minor living room as well as a kitchen.

The surrounding is "peaceful" and quiet, a sparsely populated area, and only about 300 meters (as the crow flies) to the second largest lake of Sweden, the Vättern.

In the water, belonging to the farmstead, you can try to fish crayfish (for a fee). The Vättern offers good opportunities both for fishing and for swimming at idyllic places to swim.

The villa is located in a quiet area in Motala within walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants. There is room for 6 people and is a perfect option for the larger family or for friends who want to spend vacation together. There are 3 bedrooms with double beds in two of them and a single bed in one. In the living room there is an extra bed with a thick mattress. In the living room, you can cozy up on the comfortable sofas in front of a good movie and a cozy fire. From the house you have walking distance to beautiful Lake Vättern and Varamonbadet with fine sandy beaches and crystal clear water. There are also restaurants, mini golf, pedal boats for rent etc. It is shallow and child-friendly. There are also wheelchair ramps down to the beach. You can also go to Pariserviken, which is a quiet and cozy place to swim. You can also rent a canoe, SUP, etc. there. There is also a jumping tower.



You can take a walk down to the center and the harbour. There are several cozy restaurants there.



Pay a visit to the Motala motor museum. Out in Råssnäs there is an outdoor gym and exercise track.

If you want to eat good waffles, you should visit the Mallboden in Motala. Nearby are the Borenshult locks where you can watch the boats being locked. Known from the Göta Kanal films.

Visit Vadstena with its cozy alleys, the castle, and the monastery church.

Large and cozy vacation home with wonderful Swedish romance.

In the idyllic village of Medevi Brunn, just over a kilometer from the shores of Lake Vättern, this very charming house from the 1940s welcomes you with a large, inviting garden. The house is the last house in a cul-de-sac with a view of open fields and forest in the background. Enjoy the pleasantly furnished rooms, lovely decoration and experience the natural warmth of the wood-burning stove. You can also look forward to a wood-fired sauna where you can sweat out all your everyday worries.

The veranda of the entrance area and the balcony face west and promise you convivial hours in the evening sun, while your children discover a playhouse on the property and romp around on the large lawn and on the small hill. However, the national road runs behind the house, making traffic audible.

The house has a rowing boat in a bay of Lake Vättern. The Östgötaleden hiking trail is only a few hundred meters from the house. The trail runs along the shores of Lake Vättern and partly through the spa town of Medevi Brunn, the oldest spa town in Scandinavia with almost a hundred buildings from previous centuries. Relax on Torpa beach, Medevi's own sandy beach, with a view of the open lake horizon. In the surrounding area there are bike-friendly gravel paths through the surrounding forests to small lakes as well as beautiful fields for picking mushrooms and berries. There are several nature reserves in the immediate vicinity. A day trip from Medevi is the Tiveden National Park with many marked hiking trails. Tiveden is known for its wild nature with large boulders and old, untouched forests. You can also explore other excursion destinations such as Vadstena, Motala, Askersund and Karlsborg.

Welcome to this lovely house in Motala with a heated pool and room for 12 people divided into four bedrooms and a living room. There are four toilets, two of which have a shower and one with a bathtub, plus a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer. The house also has a sauna.
The kitchen is spacious with a large fridge and freezer and ice machine, there is also a dishwasher, food processor, rice cooker, electric potato peeler, waffle iron and a large dining room table with TV. There are also TVs in the two upstairs bedrooms and two large screen projectors, one in the cinema area and one in the living room.
The pool has a depth of 130 cm and is indoors, it often maintains a temperature of 25-27 degrees. There is also a gym in the house with an exercise bike, cross trainer and weights and more.
If you want to take out the yoga mat or exercise outside, there is a large patio at the back which is protected from view. There are two pavilions to sit on a hot day. A gas grill is located at the back, gas is included. At the front of the house there is a lawn and a trampoline with a net.
The house is in a quiet residential area so after 10 pm it should be quiet.

The house is close to beautiful Varamon, which is the Nordic region's largest lake bath with kilometer-long sandy beaches and a couple of restaurants next to Lake Vättern. There are many nice bathing spots in Motala. At Råssnäs there is a jumping tower and also an outdoor gym. It is possible to rent canoes, paddles and the like. In the city you can visit the harbor and the Motala motor museum. Take a trip to Borenshult and watch the boats being locked. If you want to eat good waffles, you should visit the Mallboden in Motala. It is about 10 minutes to Vadstena, where you can visit the castle, the monastery church or walk in the cozy alleys. If you want to shop, you should go to Linköping where there are large shopping centers. The house is close to large grocery stores with good opening hours. There are also other shops nearby. There are several golf courses nearby. If you want to see a magical view, you should go to Omberg. There are also cycle paths. Take a day trip to Kolmården Zoo, which is an hour from the house.
