A wonderful holiday home with high standards and an amazing panoramic view over the ocean, located on the island Vindön. Start the day with an early morning swim from the private bridge, later you can sit down on the patio and admire the amazing view. This is a perfect holiday home for families or couples who got high standards, and would like to be able to relax and feel well during all the seasons of the year. The holiday home is build during the 40´s, and where later renovated in 2014 with many of the original details left intact. On the entry you can find a fully tiled bathroom with a beautiful ship door, the laundry room and a bedroom with a double bed. The living room is on the upper floor is equipped with a TV-corner and a inviting wood burning stove and has a exit to the lovely patio which goes around the house and where you will have an amazing view over the Hafstens fjord. There is also a modern kitchen on this level equipped with a gas cooker, followed with two bedrooms where one of them has two folding bunk beds.You can rent a rowing boat, a canoo or/and a motor to the boat. Due to the steep location, the house is not suitable for small children. There is only 40m to the private bridge which belongs to the property (which is sheared with the owner). If you want to go on some lovely bathing or fishing trips there is a boat docked at the bridge which you can rent from the owner. There is some outdoor furniture and a barbeque which you can use to enjoy the incredibly setting. There are several small beaches nearby; to Vindöns camping there is approximately 1 km, where you can bathe from the beach or the nearby cliffs, there is also the opportunity where you can rent a pedalo, there is also a playground and a convenience store where you can buy fresh bread for breakfast among other things. If you want to visit the Hafsten resort with spa, restaurant, sandy beach and waterslide, there is approximately a 7km car ride away or you can take the boat across the straits (about 1km). Welcome to Gäddebräcka just over 9 kilometers from Henån on beautiful Orust. Here you stay close to both golf course, swimming spots, the sea and nature. The cottage that lies with the forest as a neighbor is rich in both berries and mushrooms during the season. Here you can enjoy the tranquility and get energy. In the yard there are three separate cottages adjacent to each other. The larger cottage has a bedroom with a double bed (160cm). If you have a small one that sleeps in a travel bed, there is one to borrow and it can easily fit in this bedroom. A complete kitchen with fridge & freezer, microwave, stove with oven and coffee maker and a high chair for the baby. Adjacent to the kitchen there is a spacious living room with wood burning stove for cozy evenings and via patio door you come out onto the lovely patio that has its own opening out to the lawn. There is outdoor furniture and many of the day's meals are often taken here. In summer when it is hot, you can create cross draws for coolness if the sun is on. In this cottage there is no bathroom. The cottage inside the main building has a bedroom with two single beds, both of which are 90cm. A small living room with a sofa and table and armchair. If you like to train, there is also an exercise bike here that you are most welcome to borrow. The cottage has its own entrance for shower, toilet and sauna. It is completely separated from the cottage's sleeping and common room. You walk around the cottage and at the back there is a private entrance where you will find both the toilet, sauna and shower in a larger common area. The cottage has two patios with outdoor furniture, parasols and in two different directions. Close to the lawn for the little ones to play on or bring the blanket and lie down in the green grass. Above the main building is a shed where children love to sleep and hang out together. There are two bunk beds. One that is slightly narrower is suitable for the younger children as the mattresses are only 70cm wide. The second bunk bed is normal 90/90cm. The cottage has a small cozy veranda with outdoor furniture. The area nearby is a typical summer cottage area. The cottage is located high so there is no transparency from any direction. The house is a former general store that has been carefully renovated in stages and now has a modern standard, but much of the old charm remains. Here you live in very beautiful nature bordering forests and meadows. Perfect for the smaller family or group that wants to live in a scenic and seaside environment with proximity to many sights and attractions on the West Coast. A charming and well-equipped cabin of 30 m² with its own terrace, outdoor furniture and a charcoal grill is offered here - everything for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The cottage has a cozy family room with a small sofa and dining table. The kitchen is well planned and offers all the essentials despite the compact surface, including a real oven and hob. This charming cabin offers a peaceful oasis despite being close to the highway, as it is protected by a mountain knoll and a cozy little forest grove. Santa has a large lawn where the kids can play freely, and a cute gazebo that makes a perfect place to enjoy a cup of coffee, even when the rain is falling. In the leafy gazebo you can relax with coffee on sunny days. Inside the entrance you are greeted by a small kitchen with a serving hatch. The water has that characteristic rural smell and taste, completely safe to drink. If you still want a filtered alternative, a filter jug is available - just fill it up and put it in the fridge. The living room is furnished for comfort with both a dining area and a large sofa that accommodates the whole party. From here you reach the balcony, where outdoor furniture and a gas grill await lovely barbecue evenings. The site also has a large grass area on this side, perfect for outdoor games. Welcome to southwestern Orust for a relaxing holiday in scenic surroundings! The house is located on a slope surrounded by mushroom and berry forests. This house offers space for up to eight people, making it ideal for both larger families and groups of friends. The entrance is on the first floor of the house (basement). Here there is a sofa bed (140cm) and TV, perfect for guests who want some privacy. Further inside you will find several practical spaces and as a guest you have access to the laundry room with both a washing machine and a tumble dryer. Upstairs is the living area itself with three bedrooms. The largest bedroom has a double bed (160cm), and the other two rooms are furnished with two single beds (80cm+90cm) each, perfect for children or friends sharing a room. In the living room there is a TV with Chromecast. The wood-burning stove next to the sofa makes movie night extra cosy. The newly renovated kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare dinners. Weather permitting, it's lovely to eat outside on the balcony, where a large table awaits. The house has two toilets – one smaller and one with a shower. Pets are very welcome in the house, but we kindly ask you to keep them away from the furniture to preserve the comfort of all guests. Parking is available at the house. It is just over 5 km to cozy Nösund and the small community has two nice bathing spots, one of Bohuslän's finest tennis courts and excellent hiking trails into the knots. Here is also the well-known Nösunds Inn with a good restaurant and entertainment by famous artists. You also have a nice swimming area in Gårvik with both rocks, a trampoline, a swimming ladder and a small beach. Feel free to make an excursion to the nearby picturesque island of Lyr which is reached by free car ferry with crossing in just 3 minutes. The summer in Orust offers many treats in the form of festivals and events. The big city Gothenburg with the well-known amusement park Liseberg 80 km. This house is the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure, surrounded by the peaceful silence of the forest and close to salt baths. Welcome!

Here, you can enjoy the fresh air and the tranquil environment—perfect for recharging your energy and finding peace. The cottage is situated high on a hill, offering stunning views in multiple directions, which can be enjoyed both from inside the house and from the spacious garden. There is also a cozy barbecue area by the edge of the forest.

The house is spacious and well-equipped: two kitchens, two bathrooms with showers, and accommodation for up to 12 people, distributed across four bedrooms and two sleeping alcoves.

Things to see and do on Orust and the surrounding area:
Several lovely swimming spots are within a 10–20 minute drive. Just 400 meters from the house, you will find a delightful bakery with delicious pastries and several locally produced products. Right next to it is an old dairy, now transformed into Orust Recycling, a center promoting sustainable consumption and reuse.

Orust and its neighboring islands offer a variety of activities and excursions. Take a trip to the car-free islands of Gullholmen, Kärringön, Åstol, and Dyrön for a unique experience. Explore the picturesque coastal villages or visit Göksäter, home to the bargain store Arvid Eriksson, known as the "Little Ullared," just 15 minutes away by car.
