Most irritating for us is that we payed extra for a sea-view, but that view was only visible from an odd corner of the room. Also irritating was that a sea-view from the sofa would be possible, but somebody built a wardrobe that stuck out into the room and hid the sea-view. Moving that wardrobe would be extremely easy and improve the room 100%! Could also remove a chair or two - the room was a good size but very crowded."

- "We had an awesome stay at Strandflickornas. For travelers visiting soon, the hotel is under renovation so the dining and convenience is a little tricky. Breakfast was down the road a 5 min walk and dinner was a 3 min walk down the hill in different properties. Dining menu is quite limited to 3 things. If you ask 2 days in advance there is an additional shellfish option however if you don’t ask, it basically a chicken sandwich or fish soup. The fish soup is amazing. The walk to the rooms by the water is quite difficulty with heavy luggage. We had to carry our kids up and down the rocks and stairs as well as 50lb suitcases which was not easy. If mobility impaired, I wouldn’t not recommend staying here. The room is amazing. There was even a projector above the bed to project Disney plus which the kids loved. The hot tub was great. Overall, great experience but the construction and dining situation is a little annoying currently (we were warned about this ahead of time) but with kids it was inconvenient. Highly recommend staying here. It’s a gem of a hotel. "

"The city by the sea" is the well-known name for Lysekil here in Bohuslän. With the proximity to smögen, Kungshamn, Torp Shopping Centre and all excursion destinations nearby, you will stay excellent here. The cottage, which is from the beginning of the 20th century, remembers the time from the past and is today cozyly decorated and is ideal for family for four. There is a bedroom with a single bed – 80cm. In the living room there is a daybed that during the day can be used as a sofa and in the evening can easily be bedded out to a double bed -160cm. There is also a single bed – 120cm. The cottage has a complete kitchen with dining area for all four as well as bathroom with sink, wc, shower and washing machine. At the entrance there is a cozy porch with a roof and 2 chairs with tables to take the morning coffee. In front of the cottage there is a covered terrace with outdoor furniture. Here you sit undisturbed and can supervise the children playing on the lawn. The cottage is located on the walk/bike distance to Gullmarsbaden which is one of Lysekil's popular bathing areas.
