Most irritating for us is that we payed extra for a sea-view, but that view was only visible from an odd corner of the room. - "We had an awesome stay at Strandflickornas. For travelers visiting soon, the hotel is under renovation so the dining and convenience is a little tricky. Breakfast was down the road a 5 min walk and dinner was a 3 min walk down the hill in different properties. Dining menu is quite limited to 3 things. If you ask 2 days in advance there is an additional shellfish option however if you don’t ask, it basically a chicken sandwich or fish soup. The fish soup is amazing. The walk to the rooms by the water is quite difficulty with heavy luggage. We had to carry our kids up and down the rocks and stairs as well as 50lb suitcases which was not easy. If mobility impaired, I wouldn’t not recommend staying here. The room is amazing. There was even a projector above the bed to project Disney plus which the kids loved. The hot tub was great. Overall, great experience but the construction and dining situation is a little annoying currently (we were warned about this ahead of time) but with kids it was inconvenient. Highly recommend staying here. It’s a gem of a hotel. "

"The city by the sea" is the well-known name for Lysekil here in Bohuslän. Here you live pleasantly and cozyly close to Lysekil and the surrounding area's many beaches, golf course and other visiting excursion destinations. With a bus stop with the nearest neighbour, it is easy to get to and from this property if you do not want to use the car. In the surrounding area there are several nice walking paths where you can hike and maybe meet one of the forest animals or pick your own mushrooms. The villa consists of three floors, via the entrance stairs you enter a nice hall, further on this ground floor you will find kitchen with stove, microwave, fridge and freezer, dishwasher. From the kitchen you enter a large dining room that turns into a living area with a cozy wood-burning stove, large comfortable sofa and TV. On this floor there is also the villa's bathroom with shower. This idyllic holiday home has a stunning view of the fjord Brofjorden. The tastefully decorated cottage is set about 11 kilometres north of Lysekil, on the beautiful west coast of Sweden. It is set in a quiet, secluded area and surrounded by woodlands. In the main cottage, you will find a kitchen with the basic amenities, and a small kitchen table that seats five. The bedroom features a double bed. Please note that there's no door between the bedroom and the living room, but there's a curtain you can draw if you want privacy. The living room has a cosy wood-burning stove, a sofa bed for two, and a TV with 41 channels. If you want to, you can borrow a DVD-player and films from the landlord. This delightful holiday home with a well-equipped guest cottage and boathouse on a lakeside plot with its own pier is located on a beautiful bay of Gullmaren, approximately 10 kilometres from Lysekil.



Included is a generous terrace and a large enclosed veranda with dining space for up to 12 people and a view over the sea. On the other side of the house is a lawn for play and ball games. The house of approximately 80 m2 was built in the seventies and has a large living room with a wood-burning fireplace, kitchen area, and three bedrooms. Toilet room with washing machine and a separate shower room. 3 bedrooms (1. with double bed, 2. with family bunk bed (bottom 140cm wide), 3. with family bunk bed (bottom 140cm wide).



Outside the pier, there is a sandy bottom. The water is shallow but varies throughout the day with ebb and flow. For swimming in deeper water, there is a bathing raft with an electric motor that can be moored to a buoy further out in the bay.

With a wonderful view of the North Sea and its horizon is this nice holiday home, which consists of two houses, where you have a total of six bedrooms. One of Norra Bohuslän's few sandy beaches is located just under 100 meters from the house, where both small and large swimming enthusiasts thrive. A short walk over the cliffs for those who like it or you take the road down to the beach. Crab fishing from the pier or rod fishing from the pier, all within walking distance. In high season there is a restaurant down by the guest harbor which is about 15 minutes walk from the house, where there is also a mini golf course and in high season there are many evenings with live music. The two houses are connected by a large terrace and there is plenty of space to enjoy sunny days and barbecue dinners. For slightly windy days, there is a glazed part on the terrace with dining table and chairs. Outdoors there is plenty of space for play and games on the lawn below the terrace. There are many places to visit in the immediate area. Inside Lysekil, Havets Hus is well worth a visit, both entertaining and learning about life in the North Sea. Central and very nice accommodation close to swimming and beach promenade. Welcome to this pleasant and centrally located villa in a quiet and family-friendly environment. Here you are met by nice generous spaces both indoors and on the villa's terrace and glazed outdoor areas. The villa is within perfect walking distance to the city's range of restaurants, market stalls, shopping, boating, music and much more. You are just as close to Pinneviken's fine bathing area and Stångehuvud's nature reserve, known for its special light, which has made the area well-visited by photographers, among others. It is also just as close to the Norra hamn area's popular beach promenade with restaurants and nice vantage points over the sea and sunset. Via a staircase you reach the entrance floor of the villa. On the inside, you are greeted by a welcoming hall that transitions into a kitchen with a dining area as well as a stove, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and dishwasher. On the first floor there is also a living room with a nice large sofa and TV, a bedroom with a double bed and a toilet. From the hall a staircase leads up to the second floor, first you are met by a hall with an exit to a small balcony, then there are 4 bedrooms of which 2 rooms have double beds and the other two single beds, a large nice bathroom with shower, underfloor heating and washing machine. From the kitchen area you come out to the "heart of the villa", a large nice and cozy glazed conservatory with a lounge group, dining group and a grill, via the conservatory's sliding doors you come out on to a patio area with summer furniture. Generous surfaces perfect for pleasant moments in the company of good friends with barbecues, good meals and something good to drink or a moment of summer rest in the sun or shade together with a good book. The villa has a fiber connection. Good to know: Youth groups are not allowed The homeowner sometimes sleeps in the apartment in the basement. Lysekil, which is popularly known as "The City by the Sea", is located at the far end of the sea belt. Experience the fantastic feeling of freedom that the sea gives us on hikes on nature reserves and paths with fine smooth red granite rocks that are unique in Bohuslän. During the summer season, many concerts with famous artists, sing-alongs in the park, etc. are offered. Several nice shops with a selection for different tastes. It is also a pleasure to ride the small train around Lysekil, during the trip you also get a bit of history about Lysekil or why not walk through the older part of Lysekil from the 17th - 19th century. Cozy buildings along the narrow street towards Norra Hamnen, which in recent years has become a beach promenade. Here you can take a dip in the salty sea from the jetty and on a fine summer evening you can experience a fantastic sunset reflected in the sea. Feel free to rent a canoe and experience the beautiful archipelago along the smooth granite cliffs. Take a boat trip across to the other side of the Gullmarsfjord and wander the winding streets among Fiskebäckskil's sea shacks and captain's villas. For those interested in golf, the club can be swung on Holma's fine 18-hole course. Welcome to one of Bohuslän's gems on the west coast!
