Welcome to a charming red cottage on the island of Öckerö, one of the West Coast's most beautiful islands in Gothenburg's lovely archipelago! Here you have a perfect starting point for visiting Hönö, Fotö, Vinga Lighthouse and several other incredible places. The cottage consists of a newly renovated part (2023) where the kitchen, family room, bathroom and sleeping alcove are located. Via the entrance there is direct access to the kitchen and living room where there is an armchair that can be converted into an additional bed (slightly smaller than standard dimensions) for one person. The sleeping alcove has a double bed (160cm) and there is a curtain if you want to screen it off. Toilet with shower and washing machine. Remember to use the hot water sparingly as the space in the water heater is limited. At the other end of the cabin there is an annex with a single bed (90cm). Entrance from outside. The cottage with annex is on the same plot as the owners' residence. Not far from the house are Öckerö's center, Hjälvik's and Hummerviken's bathing spots, both well-visited and popular. The house is located near the ferries so you can travel to different islands in our beautiful archipelago for free. Welcome to Hönö in Gothenburg's northern archipelago with proximity to both Öckerö, Hälsö and Fotö. Here you live high and nice in direct connection to a natural plot with a fence and gate around so the children can move freely around the houses without having to worry. The large house is on two levels, where on the lower level there is one of the house's bedrooms which has a bunk bed - 90 / 120cm. There is also an open kitchen with pantry / storage in direct connection. Large dining area where you can easily make room for all 8 if you turn out the table and take in the chairs from outside. On the first floor there is also one of the house's bathrooms which has a toilet, sink, shower and washing machine with dryer function. Both kitchen and bathroom have underfloor heating. The lovely terrace with outdoor furniture and barbecue is accessed via the patio door and here you can enjoy the evening meals. If you want to enjoy the birds chirping in the morning, there is a table with two chairs at the front. Upstairs is the house living room with sofa, TV and a hefty bookshelf filled with a variety of books if you like it. Outside there is a small balcony and inside the living room is the house's master bedroom which has a double bed and its own toilet with sink and toilet. This room also has its own small balcony perfect for penetration if it is hot. There is also a travel cot and a high chair for the youngest traveler. If you have young people who would like to have their own shelter, there is the guest house with 2 bunk beds 90/90 which also has a smaller TV with DVD. The perfect accommodation adapted for all ages. The accommodation is best suited for a maximum of 8 people, but since the small cottage is also included, you have to manage with the hot water and maybe not everyone should shower at the same time, everything will be just fine. There are only 2 parking spaces for the cabins, so the cabins are located in a residential area, so if you are more than that, you park other cars at the harbor. On the island there are several restaurants and shops down in Klåva harbor. If you have bikes, feel free to bring these as the island is very nice to cycle around and we suggest discovering the smaller northern islands as well. Paolo's bike also rents out bikes, so feel free to call and book if you do not have the opportunity to bring your own. Down in the harbor in Röd there is a bathing ladder so you can easily take both the morning and evening dip and nearby is a large ICA Supermarket. You can not live better! Warm welcome!

Before arrival you will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. When purchasing the damage waiver, it covers costs up to SEK 5,000 if you cause accidental damage during a booking.

Step outside and be enchanted by the view of the glistening water and the surrounding landscape. Take advantage of the proximity to the water for relaxing hours by the sea or a kayak tour along the coast.

Explore the island of Björkö by bike or on foot. Go on hikes through the typical archipelago landscape, swim at small natural beaches or stop off at one of the harbour restaurants. Visit Gothenburg for a day trip or discover the surrounding islands of the archipelago by boat.
