We had dinner in the restaurant that didn't disappoint, great food. My wife made us of the spa and enjoyed it a lot, I personally found it a bit too costly for the slot-time we were able to get. - "Staff were exceptional throughout but particularly at Reception. A credit to the hotel and to Sweden. It's a nice hotel in good location and the breakfast is a superb. The common areas are really nice and relaxing. The downside is that the pool is part of the Spa and can not be used by "ordinary" guests. If you don't want the full Spa treatment you can't take a dip. The Classic Double that I stayed in had a large window into a closed courtyard facing other rooms with similarly large windows. There was no privacy and all of these rooms seemed to keep the curtains closed all day. I didn't spent a lot of the day in the room but that's a poor design."

All in all highly recommended for some quiet and relaxing days."

Only a short walk away is the fine bathing beach, which offers both sandy beach and rock bathing. The spacious plot has several terraces and views of the sea. From the entrance on the short side of the cottage you enter the hall. There is a bathroom with shower, a smaller bedroom with a bunk bed and a bedroom with a double bed. Small marinas, nature reserves, bathing coves and cafes and restaurants. Varberg is a summer town with a throng of people, restaurants, cafés and dance halls, everything that belongs to a summer town. The massive Varberg Fortress guards the entrance to the harbor and can be seen from afar. Take a tour down into the bastions and casemates, accompanied from the 13th century to our own time. Just outside Varberg is Getterön, one of Sweden's most famous birding areas. There are also exhibitions, a shop and a café here. Bring your swimwear because there are nice beaches on Getterön. Another nice excursion destination is the Åkulla beech forests and for those of you who are technically interested, it is not far to the world heritage site Grimeton. Also visit the large shopping area GEKÅS in Ullared. For those interested in golf, there are several fine golf courses nearby, the closest is Klosterfjordens Gk. A pleasant holiday home with a large green and lovely plot in the northern part of Träslövsläge. The cottage's generous terrace offers several pleasant patios with outdoor furniture. Only a short walk takes you to Apelviken's long sandy beach. A short distance away is "Läjet's" picturesque harbor and beach. A short drive or bike ride takes you to Varberg's beautiful summer town. From the entrance by the spacious terrace you enter the hall. The large living room has a sofa bed for two people (140cm), a large dining table and TV. There is also a fireplace with a cassette that can provide a nice warmth on chilly evenings. The cottage has free wifi. One bedroom has a double bed (150cm) and a smaller one has a single bed. The bathroom has a shower. The small kitchen has all the necessary equipment and a washing machine. The cottage's terrace is very spacious and has many different outdoor furniture. Under the roof and awnings there is a dining table. The lovely grounds are nestled in lush greenery. There is the possibility to charge electric cars on site for a fee paid to the owner. In Träslövsläge with its idyllic harbor there is a restaurant, pizzeria, street kitchen, mini-golf and the very popular ice cream bar Tre Toppar where people like to queue up to buy the good ice cream. There is also a nice swimming beach here. Varberg is a real summer town with a throng of people, taverns, cafes and dance halls, everything that belongs to a summer town. The massive Varberg Fortress guards the entrance to the harbor and can be seen from afar. Go on a tour down into the bastions and casemates, follow along from the 13th century to our own time. If you go south, you will immediately reach the nice summer town of Falkenberg with its fine selection of cafes, shops and restaurants. Here is also the fantastic long sandy beach at Skrea. Another nice excursion destination is the Åkulla beech forests and for those of you who are technically interested, it is not far to the world heritage site Grimeton. For those interested in golf, there are several fine golf courses nearby, the closest is Varbergs Gk, the western course.

A genuine and pleasant holiday home just north of Varberg. The cottage is tasteful and well planned. The spacious plot is surrounded by a stone fenced yard and shady trees. The cottage is located high up in a smaller cottage area, a short drive takes you down to the beach in Kärradal. Here there is both a sandy beach and a rock pool with a jetty and ladder. At the beach there is a popular restaurant and an ice cream café. At the entrance of the house there is a covered terrace with a dining table and barbecue. The kitchen has all the equipment you could need. In the center of the house there is a living room with sofa, a TV and a dining area. A charming sleeping alcove divided by a partition wall and drapery, accommodates a double bed. A smaller bedroom has a bunk bed with 120cm in the lower bed. The bathroom has a shower. A wonderful coastal house with beautiful details and sea view in many directions, located in the lovely town of Åskloster, about 14 km north of Varberg. Plenty of space both inside and outside with several terraces from where you can enjoy the surroundings. At a height in the garden there is a small wooden deck, perfect to sit and enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee in quiet and peace while overlooking the sea. NOTE: Information about garbage disposal is available in the house. This holiday home is light and airy, with a beautifully decorated conservatory by the kitchen. The spacious dining area offers you to gather and have a good meal together and socialize regardless of the weather. There is a TV that is used as a screen if you for example wish to plug in your computer, but there are no channels. In the living room you have a cozy wood burning stove which gives a pleasant atmosphere during the more chilly and rainy days. The bedrooms are three in a row in a stair with duplex. In total there are four bedrooms, the first one is slightly larger and located on the lower level with own entrance. The kitchen has its own exit to a smaller patio, perfect for a nice summer breakfast. Please note that this is an older house and therefore the floor may be drafty. Welcome to our beautiful house right by the Kattegatt sea, close to the city of Varberg. Here you live in a house of 150m2 on two levels with wonderful sea views from almost all rooms, only 90 meters from the water. We have two large terasses, one on each floor, which are very well suited for comfortable relaxing in the lounge furniture , as well as dinners out in the sun. The house has an open floor plan with a large living room and kitchen in one. There are 4 bedrooms, one with 180cm double bed and bathroom connected, two with a queen size single bed, and one with a bunk bed 120 + 90cm.
Wifi and TV set are at your disposal. Of course, here is also a proper Weber grill for today's and evening's cooking.
