They send you an email with codes to get into the building and into your room. The room was a bit small with a small round table for a desk (barely laptop size) and a chair. The beds were two twins pushed together. Breakfast was a bag stored in the fridge of a cheese sandwich, banana, yogurt, apple juice (or orange juice). However, there was some cereal there and you could make your own coffee/tea and porridge. Toilets and showers are central (separate lockable doors for each toilet and each shower). Robes and slippers are provided. Location has a view of the mine from the breakfast area and is walkable to the mine museum and underground tour pickup point. There is a nearby trail to hike around the mine."

The cottage is very compact and immaculately clean. Furniture is reasonably comfortable, kitchen is workable, and shower is excellent. As we were hoping, the cottage is in a very pleasant, quiet, secluded neighborhood. You'll find no tourists or stores within walking distance. The lake is only a few blocks away and it is beautiful. (The view from the cottage window in the website picture doesn't capture the beauty sufficiently.) Unless you come fully stocked, you'll need a car: the location is accessible to groceries, shopping, trains, without hassle, but you must drive to them. The owners are very considerate. They helped to make our visit just what we were hoping for. We hope to return again soon!"

Newly built (2019) beautiful cottage at Lake Runn, Falun, Dalarna. 100m2, of which 20m2 is a glazed room facing the lake with fantastic views. Underfloor heating in all rooms, even the glazed one. Three bedrooms with five beds and a nice terrace, also with lake view. Wonderfully relaxing surroundings and close to forest walks. 2km to pizzeria/shop and gas station. 20km to UNESCO falu mine, Lugnet's facilities (swimming pool, ski tracks, mountain bike, ski slopes). 25 min by car to Romme Alpin and 20 km to Borlänge shopping center with IKEA and Kupolen. Fantastic opportunities for ice skating at Främby Udde (25 min) or directly at the cottage, if the ice allows. Bakery and cafe 5 min from the cottage, where you can buy freshly baked bread, flatbread or ready-made sandwiches.

The house has underfloor heating in all rooms. Kitchen with microwave, fridge and freezer, coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher, toaster. The kitchen and living room is one big room. There is a TV, fireplace, dining group and sofa group. The bathroom has a toilet, washbasin, shower and washing machine. The three bedrooms have 2+2+1 beds. In the glazed room there is a dining group for cozy dinners.

The house has a fantastic view of Lake Runn. There is a lovely terrace overlooking the lake and there is a garden furniture. A lilac hedge is planted around the terrace and there is a lawn.

The house is located by Lake Runn, Falun, Dalarna. Bus connection is about 200m from the house. It is possible to fish, but a fishing license is needed.
