In this wonderful house you can see the water from all directions, the house is high on its own headland, has a huge plot and is totally protected from view. In the house there is a double room with an extra bed, suitable for children who want to sleep with parents, and a room with two single beds. In the spacious living room there is a large dining table, but also an exit to the terrace which has a large lovely dining table for nice outdoor dinners. There is a fireplace and a stove for chilly or just cozy evenings. In the lake cottage which is two meters from the water, there are two beds and a cot, a small hob and a nice wooden sauna, the cottage is well suited for generational housing, or teenagers who want to live for themselves. On the large own jetty you can lie and sunbathe, or row out with the rowing boat that is included and pull up a fish or two for dinner. If you want to take the bus on an adventure, it goes down by the main road, go to Djurönäset and have a drink or a SPA day, or go to Stockholm for more experiences. From Stavsnäs or Sollenkroka you can get out into the archipelago by waxholm boat, these are wonderful sea trips. Morning and evening dips are taken from the own jetty, but there are more nice bathing places nearby. Here you get a wonderful archipelago holiday!

There is a patio at both the front and back, with plenty of space for many people to sunbathe or have dinner. The large patio has a barbecue, table, and chairs and is protected from view. The large house has two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds, a fully tiled bathroom with underfloor heating, and a large living room/kitchen with several different social areas. There is a large corner sofa by the TV, a small, cozy sitting area with two comfortable armchairs and footstools, and a large, lovely dining table. A little higher up on the property is the guest cottage, which has a double room and a room with a single bed. This cottage does not have a bathroom, but there is a simple toilet for nighttime use. The property is a lovely forest plot with hills, trees, and bushes. Further down the plot there is a small lawn and a trampoline. Just 200 m from the house there is a nice swimming lake, and if you want to swim in the sea, it is also just a short walk from the house. Djurhamn is located near Djuröbron and Stavsnäs. There is a lot to experience on Djurö, including a restaurant with musical entertainment during the summer, a bar, and a spa. From Stavsnäs, you can take archipelago boats further out into the archipelago to Sandhamn, which has shops, restaurants, and beautiful beaches. If you want to go to Stockholm and leave your car at the house, the bus stops just 100 meters from the house.

This is a fantastic place in the Stockholm archipelago. The cottage is located in a village of summerhouses only ca 100 m from a beautiful lake. The lake water is very clean and wonderful for swimming and there is a little beach suitable for small children. A small row- and sailing boat (8 feet) is available to use.

You have access to the full house with bathroom, bedroom, loft and a living room with an open kitchen solution and a fireplace. All equipment is free to use.

With a large sunny garden and lake area you will get the ultimate summer feeling. There is a newly built terrace, perfect for grilling and to relax during the long Swedish summer evenings. If you need anything or have any questions the hosts are nearby.

Stockholm is a wonderful place during the summer, and with an easy bus ride you will be in the city in only one hour, if an afternoon in town is wanted

- "We were a Swedish couple in our early 30s who stayed 9 nights in the cottage around midsommar. The cottage is beautiful, and so luxurious for the price. The kitchen is more well equipped than my kitchen at home! Cosy fireplace and TV sofas. Great outdoor porch, grill and outdoor table/chairs, we both danced and played board games on that porch :) The bedroom downstairs with double bed had great curtains to make the room dark, something which is really important for me. The loft is great if you have older children, at least 2 can sleep there. There are a ton of family board games, puzzles, and outdoor games like kubb that you can borrow, so we brought a lot of it unneccesarily :) The nearby beach and lake are wonderful and the water was 25 degrees already around June 20. There were not too many mosquitoes, not even in the evenings. Although we did swim elsewhere in Värmdo, none of those beaches were close to beating our home beach/lake. You can borrow a boat, walk around the lake, participate in the local midsommar celebration. The owners Jan and Monika are unbeliavbly friendly and good hosts. In other words, the vacation here can be absolute paradise even if you never leave 200m from the cottage. But if you want to make excursions, Djurö C, Djurönäset, Motorverkstaden, Vita Grindarna, Glassvillan etc are just short bike rides away. There's public transport all over the island. Stavnäs is relatively nearby as well so we did excursions to Runmarö to watch some stand-up, and to Sandhamn, which I can highly recommend! You can easily go on daily excursions if you want. In conclusion, there was absolutely nothing disappointing during our vacation here and I would give my warmest recommendations for this place! We would love to come back next year, and this time relax more and stay more in the fantastic cottage :)"

The property consists of two houses.

The main house is 75 sqm and is made for social living with a 15 sqm bedroom and bathroom, and a 60 sqm open area with a fire place, fully equipped kitchen, dining table for 10-14 seats. The open area also includes a sofa and chairs for relaxing. On the veranda / balcony under the transparent roof we have the Weber genesis II 610 for outdoor cooking, a table and chairs overlooking the property and the bay.

On the wooden deck there is an outdoor kitchen with a 78cm Muurikka frying table and a zink with drinking water.

The guest house is 40 sqm with three sleeping cabins and one bathroom, all with separate entrances from outside. The platform and stairs outside is a perfect
place for your morning coffee regardless if you enjoy being alone at 3 in the morning with the sun starting to warm up your left side or brunching at 11 with the whole entourage.

On sunny days the outdoor shower will provide solar powered hot water.

When you don't make your own morning bread with the kitchenaid, we have some bikes that can take you to the bakery "Stavsnäs hembageri" in about 10 minutes.

By the water we have a sail / rowing boat good for fishing / exploring or sailing (included).

When you want to swim in sweet water we have several lakes within a couple of minutes of walking distance.
