- "Carisbrooke Inn is a beautiful, quaint, historic house transformed into a lovely B&B. We stayed here two nights in late June 2017. What a wonderful area of Ventnor City... literally just a stone's throw from Atlantic City. We got stuck in traffic near Baltimore, so we arrived later than the usual check-in time. When we called to let them know they said "No problem!", and gave us instructions on how to obtain the key and gain entrance into the property. What a relief! Our room was very clean, although a little on the small side. My husband would like to have had a bigger bathroom and shower, but I was happy that we had a private bathroom. No matter...we spent most of our stay on the boardwalk and at the beach, which was about 1/2 block away! Great location with restaurants and shopping within a couple of blocks. We found the AAAA Bike Shop just 2 blocks away, and rented brand new bicycles overnight to ride around town. There's a back yard area at Carisbrooke where there is plenty of room to park the bikes and lock them up. Then there was the breakfast. Awesome! The Carisbrooke pancakes were light and fluffy... probably the best pancakes I've ever had! My husband went for the made-to-order omelet both days, which he loved. We also enjoyed the late afternoon snacks of cheese and crackers, wine, fresh fruit, and cookies. The refrigerator was stocked with ice cold bottles of water, as well. The staff was friendly and courteous, and the owner was friendly and helpful. Breakfast servers were wonderful. Overall, we loved The Carisbrooke Inn and would definitely stay there again. We absolutely recommend this place to anyone coming to the AC area. Thanks to all!"

Entering the home you will find an open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen. Everything is on one level once you are inside. The `master` larger bedroom with a king bed and a desk is in the back of the house. A small porch and fenced backyard can be accessed from the master bedroom. The second bedroom and full bathroom are off the kitchen/dining area. The second bedroom has a twin over queen bunk bed setup and a pack n play in the closet.

We are 3 blocks from the beach/boardwalk. One block is the Dorset Avenue Bridge. It is fun to walk over the bridge and watch the boats and water crafts pass by!

A coffee shop, ice cream shop, Italian restaurant, breakfast spot, pizza place, liquor store, and CVS are all walking distance within 1-3 blocks. We are a quick drive to casinos and all Atlantic City destinations including the Convention Center and outlets. A full-size grocery store (ACME) is less than a 5 minute drive from the house.

Our house is a `second floor` walk-up. You will need to walk up one flight of stairs to access the front or rear entrances.

Free street parking is available in front of the house.

The interior of the home is yours alone and is not shared with anyone else. The house is a duplex with a year-round tenant on the top floor. The front exterior stairs are shared with the top floor tenant.

There is a private deck and backyard access from the master bedroom. The rear stairs to the yard are private. The backyard is shared space but mostly used by Airbnb guests.

We are available via message on Airbnb if you have any questions during your stay. You may also contact us via cell phone. Our cell phone numbers are provided in the check-in message you will receive on your day of arrival.

We live just 1-mile away from the house and can be available in person if needed to address any issues.

Ventnor is a great little town and we love our location. Enjoy live music in the coffee shop behind our house, walk around the corner for ice cream or the best homemade pasta in town at Red Room. Bike, walk, or drive to many great restaurants in Ventnor, all of which are BYOB. Enjoy the Farmers Market on Fridays from 8:30am-12pm (open Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend). Head over to Atlantic City for dinner, a show, or the nightlife. There is something for everyone here!

We love to ride bikes or walk around town in the nicer weather. Uber, Lyft, and cab companies are readily available too if you just want to park and not move your car for a few days.

We have one pack n play and a high chair available if you are bringing little ones.

We are set up for all your beach needs. We provide 5 beach badges (beach badges are required in Ventnor for beach goers ages 12+), beach chairs, an umbrella, beach towels, coolers, beach toys, and a cart to pull all the goods to the beach!

This is not a party house. Please, no parties or events.

Our home is in a residential neighborhood with year-round residents. Please be respectful of the neighbors and follow Ventnor quiet hours of 10pm - 7am.
HOUSE RULES-

1) No House Parties. The neighbors are quick to call if anything begins to get out of hand, so please do not intend to have a party or it will be shut down immediately and your reservation will end without refund. If you are celebrating something you may decorate using ONLY painter`s tape or command strips to adhere decorations to the walls. NO GLITTER is allowed. If glitter is found in the house you will be charged an additional cleaning fee calculated by the hour.

2) Occupancy limits and restrictions: Be sure to book with the correct number of guests. Unless given prior approval from the host, you cannot have any more than 5 persons in or on the property at any one point in time. A violation of this could result in immediate removal of all guests without refund. Additionally, per Ventnor City law, the booking guest MUST BE AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD OR OLDER and staying in the house. You may not book this house on behalf of another person.

3) Self check-in: Please inform your host of your anticipated check in and check out time so we can efficiently coordinate our turnovers. This is a self check-in property. You certify that you are willing and able to follow instructions that you are being provided through the check in guide as well as messages you’ve received from your host on the platform and via your email account linked to the platform. You also agree that you will read your house rules/manual and check in instructions before contacting your host with questions.

4) Please be mindful of our neighbors during your stay. Our property`s quiet hours of 10pm to 7am are in place to ensure that everyone can enjoy a peaceful night`s sleep. We care a lot about maintaining good relationships with our community, so we appreciate you following our `house rules` during your stay. We are committed to Rent Responsibly standards. This means we follow best-in-class guidelines to ensure you have a peaceful, safe, and memorable stay with us. We use smart home technology to improve your experience. This property is monitored by exterior security cameras located in front of the garage at the ground level.

5) This house is privately owned; the owners and managers are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners and managers are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.

6) Keep the property and all furnishings in good order.

7) Only use appliances for their intended uses.

8) No smoking or illegal drugs/illegal drug use allowed inside the home. This is a non-smoking building. Any type of smoke is prohibited. You are welcome to smoke outside. Please clean up and properly dispose of your own cigarette butts and ash. Do not throw butts on the deck, the ground, or in the street outside. Smoking inside will result in an additional cleaning fee, determined by the extent of the issue.

9) Storms: If there is a storm or hurricane, no refunds will be given unless:
• The state or local authorities order mandatory evacuations in a `Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning area` and/or
• A `mandatory evacuation order has been given for the Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning` area of residence of a vacationing guest.
• The day that the authorities order a mandatory evacuation order in a `Tropical Storm/Hurricane Warning,` area, we will refund:
o Any unused portion of rent from a guest currently registered;
o Any unused portion of rent from a guest that is scheduled to arrive, and wants to shorten the stay, to come in after the Hurricane Warning is lifted; and
o Any advance rents collected or deposited for a reservation that is scheduled to arrive during the `Hurricane Warning` period.

10) Pets: Dogs are allowed as long as they are completely housebroken meaning they will go to the bathroom OUTSIDE ONLY and will NOT chew or destroy furniture and belongings indoors or outdoors. We require you clean up after your dog if they use the yard as a bathroom and properly dispose of any dog poop in the exterior trash cans found under the front stairs. If your dog creates excessive mess inside or outside you will be liable for damages and charged accordingly. There is a $30 pet fee per stay.

11) You may be charged additional fees if house rules are broken. This includes potential fees for:
- Unauthorized Late Checkout. Checkout is at 11am unless otherwise authorized in writing by the host. Failure to check out by 11am will result in additional fees charged by the hour.
- Extra Cleaning. Our cleaning fee is based on a “Courteous guest” that leaves the place in similar condition to which it was found. Extra cleaning fees incurred by host from turnover crew due to excessive trash, pet messes, etc. will be the financial responsibility of the guest.
- Loss of Rental. Any violation of any house rule (checking out late, leaving a mess, etc) that results in additional losses to the host for having to discount or refund the next guest will be the full responsibility of the offending guest in addition to any applicable fees.

- "Loved this place. Owner was great, accommodating, place was very clean, nice space!! The only part you should know ahead is that if you stay there during a full moon or rain, the street floods. An email was sent on the VRBO App after we checked in and had no reason to look. Give cell # to owner, texting would have allowed us to prep. The street flooded, we noticed when we woke up the next morning and our car had water almost up to the door. If we knew ahead we could have moved our cars up the street. Though, either way we had to walk in water way above ankles and would not be able to let a dog out the front if need during that time. It cleared up early afternoon. "

Our ground floor 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom condo in Ventnor is perfect for your stay down the shore. We have two bedrooms; one with a california king bed and the other with a double + twin bunk bed. There is also a pull-out sofa bed. We have a separate storage area with washer/dryer, beach gear (6 chairs + 2 umbrellas), and tennis rackets. This is the 8th house from the beach! This recently renovated unit is across from the beach block - there are 7 houses on the beach block. There is a partial view of the ocean and boardwalk from the living area.
A couple of blocks away, you can enjoy movies on the beach, free concert bands and food trucks - and the weekly Farmers Market at the local church parking lot. This is a 1500 square foot unit which sleeps up to 8 people and has two bedrooms and two full bathrooms, a dining room, living room, full kitchen (microwave, dishwasher, all amenities), laundry room with washer/dryer, air-conditioning units, off-street parking, TVs, DVD player, Wifi, and 4 courtesy beach tags to use. There is a shared deck (both units have access to the deck which has a patio set/BBQ grill to enjoy the nice summer breeze and an outdoor shower)

Beautiful Beach House Family Home in Ventnor!

Triplex in Ventnor owned by my grandparents Salvatore and Giuseppina from 1985-1999. When i saw this property go on sale last year, i purchased and completely renovated my childhood home into a beautiful Beach house themed summer vacation home. My Favorite memories were waking up to laughing seagulls, family speaking Italian and not understand a word and watching the fireworks from the Pier on the boardwalk. This home has much sentimental value to me and i will pass it on to my children one day : ) One family stays on the 2-3 Floor and the vacation rental is Ground floor with no stairs!

Fully Furnished home THREE blocks from the beach and boardwalk! Free WIFI. 65"1080p flat screen TV in living room. 6 Beach tags, 4 Beach Chairs, Beach Cart and umbrella! Easy Keypad entrance to home!

Beds are a Queen Size bed and two twin size beds. A Queen sofa bed pull out. We provide Linens and pillows. Please provide your own towels, toiletries, soaps and other accessories. We also have a Washer and Dryer for you!

Location is just Amazing. We are on the Ventnor/Margate Border. You can walk to the beach or the bay. Atlantic City and the casinos are just 3-4 miles away. I always walk their but you can drive if you like.

So much to do and so little time. Huge shopping districts nearby in Atlantic City, Helicopter rides, Casinos, Restaurants, Rides and Games on the Boardwalk. Funnel Cake(My passion), Mini Golf, Wawa, Watching the ocean off the Pier. And the most iconic sight of all. A 65 Foot Steel Elephant on the Beach in Margate named Lucy.

Ventnor is the small beautiful beach town that you have seen in all your favorite movies.(Jaws) This town has plenty to do and a multitude of small family owned businesses and Restaurants to eat at. I prefer Sapore.

Wonderful location close to other beaches like Wildwood, Cape may(Great for whale watching!) and Even Story Book land.

Life is very short, enjoy your time. Don't fight or argue. Laugh, spend lots of time with the family, walk on the beach along the water, wake up the seagulls and live every day and summer because we don't know what tomorrow brings us.
