And yes, this is truly the view from the giant French doors in the living room. There are two bedrooms on the lower level that stay nice and cool even when it is hot outside. A large, beautiful open living room/dining room on the second floor and an adorable loft for sitting and reading - or drying laundry (because yes there is a washing machine). Mme Egea provides special little touches to make you feel so welcome when you arrive (a bottle of wine, some local specialties). And the location can't be beat. It's close to the Gorges du Verdon without the mobbed crowds. You can rent electric boats, paddle boats or canoes and wander around the lake; there's hiking and sunbathing and swimming. We certainly plan to be back!"

- "We had a great stay at Lac Sainte-Croix. Patrick and Bernadette were lovely and everything was as pictured on the listing. There is a little terrace with a beautiful view of the lake and a kitchen with everything you need to cook if you want to stay in. There is also a restaurant downstairs (same building as the apartment if you don’t feel like driving) but we really preferred taking the car and either do our groceries at Riez or simply move around to discover the different villages and beaches. You are about a 20 minute drive from Moustiers-Sainte-Marie which was absolutely breathtaking and where you can enjoy really good food. There is also an access to the lake close by either by foot going down the hill or just 5 minutes by car. Overall we loved our stay here and would recommend this appartement to anyone who would like to visit the Gorges du Verdon for a few days."
