Close by are the high passes and beautiful ski villages. The chalet is in spacious grounds , ample parking . On some mornings it snowed gently, on other days it was warm enough for non-skiers to hang out in the garden and enjoy the views. The location is situated in a lovely, quiet, green suburb of the Alpine town of Thones, small enough to be charming and with splendid views, but with all conveniences within a couple of minutes drive - unlike staying in many resorts. There is a fantastic collection of ski areas (alpine, nordic, touring) in the general area within 30-minutes drive away. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at this clean, conveniently-located and modern chalet; it was just what we needed and we would recommend it to future tenants."

It was one of the best holidays we have ever spent which was not only due to the fact that we had a great time as a family but also due to the wonderful atmosphere and location of the chalet – les Lupins. It is obvious that this chalet is loved and cherished by its’ owners, it has such a lovely, cosy feeling which makes you feel welcome from the moment you step in. The attention to detail is visible in every corner - from the knobs on the kitchen cabinet doors to the natural wooden fixtures in the bathroom and restroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with high quality cooking and even baking equipment & utensils and the fridge/freezer is big enough to be stocked up to feed a family for a week. Absolutely nothing was missing in terms of utensils which was great for our entirely self-catered holiday. There is even a Raclette maker which is a great meal on a cold winter’s evening. The shower with multiple body jets felt like pure luxury at the end of a cold winter’s day. The location of the chalet was perfect - nestled away in the quiet area of Les Tines, right next to the river and forest and near the golf course. What better way to wake up in the morning to the view of the mountains and having breakfast on the sunbathed veranda. Bus and trains stops are 2 minutes walk from the chalet and offer very good connections to all major ski lifts in the valley and Chamonix town. It was the perfect combination of staying in quiet, undisturbed and natural surroundings, yet being able to enjoy the vibe of Chamonix centre as well as having access to all other areas of the Chamonix valley. All in all a perfect holiday in a lovely chalet in a beautiful spot of the world. "

The apartment features a spacious living room with a fireplace, comfortable sofa, and armchairs. The kitchen is very well-equipped: dishwasher, convection oven, microwave, induction cooktop, refrigerator, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine...

The bedroom has a double bed (140cm), a bunk bed, and a corner desk with a fabulous mountain view. The apartment can accommodate a maximum of four people. If you don't all want to be in the bedroom, it's possible to use the convertible sofa in the living room (140x190).

It is a very quiet area. You can reach the center on foot (8min) and return by free shuttle (stop 500m away). The shops of Méribel 1600 are accessible by foot in 5min.

It is a short walk to the slopes but not difficult. The ski room is well stocked but no heated boot racks. Also we had no problems with the parking outside. Interior is amazing and everything very clean and comfortable. We spent most of our free time in the apartment. Love the fire place. Kitchen was well stocked unlike other reviews. Everything was ready upon arrival. It is quite a hill into town which is a reasonable walk home but again not a problem. Only sight negatives we had were only 1 toilet roll provided for the week and no dishwasher tablets. I guess this is common as the spar stocks small quantities. We would definitely stay again."
