Our spacious (66 sq m plus 8 sq m balcony) and recently refurbished duplex apartment is on the fourth floor of this typical apartment building in La Tania and sleeps 6.

There are 2 good size bedrooms with twin beds, two bathrooms and a sauna. There is a mezzanine which sleeps two.

The living area is bright, spacious and comfortable with large picture windows and a door leading out to the south facing balcony with views over the mountains and forest.

The building is located near the top of the resort and you can ski in and out easily. It couldn't be easier to pop home for lunch in the sun before going back to the slopes for an afternoon ski.

If you come by train from Paris to Moutiers its only a half hour taxi ride up the mountain. The resort facilities are a five minute walk away.

Bedroom 1 with twin beds is on the mezzanine floor with a window over-looking the mountains.

Bedroom 2 is as you come into the apartment on the left and has twin beds and a window overlooking the valley.

Mezzanine - this has been extended to accommodate two single beds.

The bathroom on the mezzanine floor has a shower cubicle, toilet, basin and a sauna.

The bathroom on the main floor next to bedroom two has a bath with hand shower, toilet and basin.

The kitchen is located discretely in the living/dining area and is small but adequately equipped with a sink, four ring electric hob, dishwasher, fridge and a combi microwave. Filter coffee machine and electric kettle supplied.

There is a washing machine situated in a recess in the entrance hall.

The living/dining room is large, bright and spacious. There is a pine table, bench seat and chairs and two sofas. Large picture windows with door leading out to south facing balcony.

400 meters from ski lifts and next to nursery slopes.
Booking 1600 hrs Saturday to 1000 hrs Saturday. The apartment is in the village of LaTania. The large 753 sq ft (70 sq. meter) apartment , on the third floor, has panoramic views over the village, pistes and valley from the spacious lounge/dining room. Ski in/out to the nursery slopes , cable car and Folyeres piste. There are no other local stay taxes to be paid.
Excellent, green , red and blue runs get you back into LaTania and there is a really good nursery run and good ski schools. Free WIFI and flat screen TV , blu ray DVD player in apartment. The La Tania resort is good value for money with many restaurants , some pubs and supermarket. The Pub Ski Lodge is only 100 metres away with excellent food and entertainment every night. Themed evenings at the pub and dancing are a great way to wind down after a good ski day. There are many different eating places but LaTania maintains a 'village' atmosphere. There are several ski shops for renting your ski equipment which can be ordered on line before you arrive. There is also a free ski bus to connect the main resorts in the area.
There is plenty of activity in LaTania in the summer with swimming pool , basket ball, volleyball, tennis court , table tennis and boules in the village. There are many other activities for example mountain bike riding, walking, climbing,white water rafting archery and horse riding locally.
There is an excellent tourist office in La Tania which will provide expert support during your stay. Getting to the resort is not difficult with Chamberey(1.5 hrs) and Geneva(2hrs) Airports giving quick access. La propriété est parfaitement équipée pour accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes grâce à un lit double dans une chambre séparée , un coin montagne très cosy avec lits superposés, et un canapé-lit dans le salon.
L'appartement fait 40 m2. En entrant, vous trouverez un couloir spacieux avec de la place pour accrocher vos bottes et vestes après une longue journée de ski. À côté du couloir se trouve la chambre principale, des toilettes séparées et une salle de douche moderne avec une grande cabine de douche.
Au bout du couloir, l'appartement s'ouvre sur une grande et spacieuse cuisine ouverte entièrement équipée pouvant accueillir 6 personnes , et un salon très chaleureux . le tout avec une vue exceptionnel sur le grand bec et son sommet enneigé que vous pourrez admirer au couché de soleil .
Le canapé du salon se déplie également en un confortable canapé-lit double.

Depuis le salon, une porte fenêtres ouvre sur une spacieuse terrasse très bien exposée qui surplombe la piste de La Tania.

- "The apartment is not huge, but it has everything you need to make it a comfortable stay/holiday. It's clean and has been recently refurbished. Myself and the family loved it, the kids loved the bunk beds. Communication with Eric, the owner, was good and he responded to messages and phone calls quickly leading up to the holiday and when we arrived. Location wise it's great, close to the shops, bars and restaurants, though there are a few steps up to the apartment from the village centre. The ski locker in the basement was more than big enough to house everything for a family of four skiers and boarders. The use of the underground parking is useful, so the car is secure and out of the weather. All in all, I would recommend the apartment to others."
