Very nice modern and authentic chalet in the historic district of La Tania, 100 meters from the resort center and the slopes.

You will enjoy the atmosphere of a small mountain village in the center of a modern and family resort nestled in the middle of the forest.
The chalet of 150 m2 of recent construction (2007), has 5 bedrooms and as many bathrooms, a cabin with 2 bunk beds, a large living / dining room furnished in new, a fully equipped kitchen for cooking for a large group. and a skiroom to be able to return comfortably from a beautiful day of skiing. When night falls, take advantage of the fireplace to relax with family or friends in the large lounge area.

- "We were a group of 11, 4 adults, 7 kids. The chalet was spacious enough for us. Spotlessly clean on arrival, owner was incredibly helpful, would recommend." - "What a great chalet. Very comfortable and homely. On 3 floors with living area on top floor. Well equipped kitchen with large fridge . Living area with plenty of table and sofa space . We were a family group with 4 adults and 5 children aged 7-16. The children shared twin rooms and loved the animal theme with colour changing lights. Some rooms have en suite, some don’t. There is also a shared bathroom , shower room and toilet - so plenty for all. Large boot room with boot warmers and plenty of room for skis, lots of hooks for coats. Washing machine and tumble drier to use. 1 parking space but we managed to park 2 cars, 1 behind the other. 5 minute downhill walk to slopes and centre of La Tania including shops, good small supermarket and ski school etc. Enjoyed a traditional dinner out at La Ferme de La Tania. Small queue for main telecabine out of La Tania each morning but never a problem. Easy access to all parts of Les 3 Vallees and good skiing back to resort at end of the day, choice of green, blue and red runs. Great skiing overall for a mixed ability group with plenty of family friendly blue and green runs as well as some more challenging pistes. We thoroughly enjoyed the chalet and the resort and will definitely be back"

A heated swimming pool in summer borders the SOUTH terrace with its stone barbecue. Ideal location for Bried la Bain Bubble up to Méribel and town with ski hire at the base . Our only niggle was the outside bottom steps which need a little attention as the winter weather has eroded the soil between wooden steps making it fairly tricky to get up and down to the lower level where car can be parked. Handy to have a decent size ski/boot room downstairs. The owners were very helpful & sent us lots of useful info before we arrived. Only 3 mins walk from the shops, bus stop & 2 lifts. - "We stayed as 3 families with 6 kids ages 6-10 and the chalet suites us very well. Nice open family space for enjoying time with friends and plenty of room in bedrooms for all of us. Well equipped and clean. Access to Meeibel via Olympe Gondola, which is a 5 minutes walk away. Only thing to consider is that it is down a fairly steep slope and when we were there, it was very icy and slippy. Just about ok in snow boots with no equipment but you wouldn't want to be doing it with ski equipment. Of course you can also drive around to get there but we found parking to be difficult (although it was when world championships were ok in Meribel and Courchevel). Overall a very pleasant stay and Pascal was very good with communication."

We expected much more and were left disappointed, as the property is far from what was described and not worth the price we paid.The Good:The hosts, Tom and Ellie, were welcoming and friendly.The location is excellent and walkable to the gondola.Plenty of beds, could suit larger groups who dont care about quality.The Bad:Larger Beds were two cheap mattresses pushed together, making them uncomfortable and impractical.No amenities like soap, shampoo, or body wash were provided.Only one towel per person for a 5-day stay.Sheets were very rough and uncomfortable, more like sandpaper.The house had several maintenance issues: broken tiles, loose sinks, a non-functioning jacuzzi, and outdated bathrooms.Doors were flimsy and some bedrooms didn’t lock properly.No washer or dryer, which was inconvenient for a longer stay.The kitchen was functional but dated.While the home was cleaned well, the overall state of disrepair overshadowed it.In summary, while the upstairs living area was decent and the home had potential, it felt neglected and cheaply maintained with cheap finishes. With proper updates and attention, this could be a great rental, but it currently falls short of expectations."

- "This is a fabulous chalet which accomodated our party of 10 comfortably. It is set back from all the other chalets so feels really secluded. Having ensuite bathrooms was really appreciated. However, the hot tub was the real winner. It is at the back of the property so really private. The unused drag lift route just above the chalet meant we could ski in and out so avoided any walking but is only suited to those confident on skis or board."

House in Villaflou, 50m2 on 2 floors, in a typical and authentic mountain hamlet. Calm and traffic free. Shops in 3km at ‘Courchevel Le Praz’. Entirely renovated, a cottage-style house, well-maintained, fully equipped and with Wifi access. Access to the ski domain of the Three Valleys from Le Praz ( buses are free ) via direct ski lift to Courchevel 1850. In winter periods your car should be equipped with snowchains, essential for reaching Courchevel or any other ski station.

Courchevel, 3km from Le Praz, a delightful house 50m2 in Villaflou (‘village of flowers’ in dialect) a tiny mountain village, very quiet and traffic free. Peace and quiet just 5 minutes from the most beautiful ski pistes and walks. Nearest shops are to be found in Courchevel, Le Praz, 5 minutes away by car. The first slopes, ski lifts or bus stop are to 3 km of Courchevel "Le Praz" . In the winter, snow on the roads requires snow chains, essential for reaching the village and obligatory at these times for your arrival in the resort, so please come prepared.
Though ideal for 4 people, in the 2 bedrooms on the second floor (plus a travel cot for a baby), the house can comfortably accommodate 6 people (2 people sleeping on a sofabed in the lounge downstairs. The vehicle access road stops at the carpark and a wide path leads directly in to the hamlet and to your house. Children can play in safety! In summer, you may enjoy the adjoining garden, with table, chairs, parasol, deck chairs and electric barbecue available on request.

The house is non-smoking and the animals are not accepted .

The house has been entirely renovated (completed July 2017) with underfloor electric heating on the ground floor, and electric convectors on the first floor.

Kitchen equipped with 4-hob vitroceramic hotplate, cooker hood, large combined Samsung micro wave/oven (45litres), dishwasher, new fridge freezer, coffee machines (classic and « Nespresso » for die hard coffee fans), toaster, kettle, food processor, 3kg washing machine, full range of crockery, cooking and cleaning utensils. Electric raclette and fondue equipment.
Dining room :  table for 6 people
Lounge : new corner sofa bed, easily converted into a comfortable bed for 2 people (140x200), HD flat screen TV and DVD player, books,Wifi internet . Something to know, highly monitored here: illegal downloads on the internet are heavily penalized in France (bit torrent, u torrent or other, these software are recognized even if they are not used).. Be careful not to have them on your phone, computer etc when connecting to the WiFi of the house

How to get there
For Villaflou : take the «Courchevel» direction to Courchevel, Le Praz then follow the directions on the ‘Address’ page.
To reach the village, you must take the direction of Courchevel and go through Courchevel/Le Praz. Please follow the instructions described in the "Address " tab. If you use your GPS, make sure you pass through Courchevel le Praz or the navigational indications make you pass the shortest by small forest roads not drivable!

800 from the Olympus gondola for the Meribel estate. Lockers may be subscribed.
The free shuttle to Courchevel passes through the village at 30 m, and takes you to Courchevel le Praz in 15/20 min.

By car:
- 15 minutes from the Alpinium underground car park, in Courchevel le Praz, bookable parking spaces and heated lockers.

- 20 min from the Aquamotion aquatic center, also accessible by ski.

Summer

Many hikes from the chalet, we are also very close to the Tueda National Reserve (Les Allues), and the Lac de la Rosière and close to Champagny gate of the Parc de la Vanoise.

During the treatment period in Brides les bains, April June and September October, special rates for long stays upon request.

The rental includes sheets and towels. The washing machine is available for your use. Bluetooth speaker and wifi with free access.

Likewise, the new cable cars of Brides-les-Bains, located 2 km away, also give access to the Trois Vallées MERIBEL side.

Le Bachal Mountain Chalet lies in a quiet French village, called La Perrière, below Courchevel Le Praz 1350m and La Tania, on the road between Brides-Les-Bains (2km) and Bozel (5km).

Whether you’re skiing or snowboarding, hiking or rock climbing, relaxing in the Brides-les-Bains spas or sunbathing by the lake in Bozel - this house is the perfect getaway spot with easy access by car or seasonal bus to all surrounding areas.

The space
Settle down and cosy up in this newly renovated 130m² Mountain Chalet on 4 levels, fully furnished and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing mountainous holiday.

The wooden clad chalet is situated amongst others in a small hamlet, in a mixed community with a few holiday homes and all year round residents, including ski instructors. It has a small outdoor deck, with BBQ for the summer and looks out to a communal area with a natural water source. There is a log burner to heat the whole house and a small sauna (2 person) for after a long day of skiing or hiking. It’s the perfect week-long getaway for you and your family or friends to switch off from the rest of the world.

The chalet is located in a quiet and authentic village called La Perrière, which is part of Courchevel commune, just below Courchevel, La Praz, 1350m.

With an open plan and fully equipped kitchen, living room and dining room you can enjoy relaxing evenings with your family or friends curled up in front of a fire playing board games, playing Mario Kart on the Wii, watching DVDs (disclaimer - only cheesy movies available) or eating fondue. You’ll feel as comfortable as you would in your own home.

This Mountain Chalet has four bedrooms with double beds. Please note that two of the bedrooms (one each on the third and fourth floors are ‘walk through’. The fourth floor attic bedrooms are cozy but of mostly restricted height, so ideal for teenagers or small adults!

There is a sauna in the downstairs bathroom - it is heavenly after a long day of skiing or hiking. We will guide you through how to work it - it’s super easy!

Other things to note
Even though there is ski storage available in the house, it is highly recommended (as we do when there) - is rent heated lockers at the Le Praz ski lift or Brides-les-Bains gondola, which are 8 Euros per day and will hold 4 sets of skis, boots and helmets. It’s much easier so you don’t need to transport equipment up and down the mountain every day.

We want everyone that comes to Le Bachal to have the best time they possibly can - Mi Casa es Su Casa and all that - but we would like you to respect that this was a big renovation and it’s also our family holiday home. So, please be respectful of the house. It is more suited for families instead of groups of young adults who will be doing a lot of partying. We are not going to stop you going to La Folie Douce though - the Meribel one is 👌.

If you have very young children, please be wary that this house is 4 levels high and the stairs are steep so young, small children running around could be dangerous. The wood burner has not got a guard around it and gets very hot. There is local hire for child stair gates, cots and highchairs if needed.

Beautiful chalet located in the most beautiful and largest ski area in the world: Les 3 Vallées.
The chalet is conveniently located in Courchevel La Tania.
The first slope is less than 100 m from the chalet and the return is skiing back to the front door!
It has all the accommodations necessary for the good comfort of après-ski.
