Cliffside Getaway is a quiet & cozy single apartment attached to our 2 other apartments, located on a quiet street in Oneida Castle, NY. Our location is a 5 minute drive off of Exit 33 of the NYS Thruway, convenient for travelers.
Location is a 3-5 minute drive from The Turning Stone Resort and Casino and a 15 minute drive from Vernon Downs Track and Casino. Our location is close to a Walmart, Price Chopper, Glenwood Plaza which holds a movie theatre, restaurants, a liquor store and other general stores.
The space
This apartment is an excellent stay for up to 2 guest. Great for overnight travelers, long vacations traveling nurses, business trips, weddings, golf outings, family visits/traveling, Casino events and conferences, and all occasions. Children traveling with a parent under the age of 18 stay for FREE. We appreciate honesty when communicating. Thank you!

The house welcomes you with three bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms. There are natural hardwood floors and molding, throughout. The kitchen has a farmhouse feel with white cabinets butcherblock countertops with a porcelain farm sink. Located on a 1 acre lot surrounded by a large lawn and wooded area.

We would like to kindly ask for no pets and no smoking in the house.

- "Immediately on booking this house, I received a text message from the owner herself. She gave me directions and check in details. She was friendly and professional. As we were traveling from the UK we arrived at the house after mid-night. She had arranged to leave lights on for us. Even at night it was easy to find the house. Once at the house, we found it to be exactly as described: a lovely old turn of the century house. It had the quirks of an old farmhouse, like genuine copper fixtures and antique furniture. Probably the most striking thing is the feeling that we were guests in someone's home, and that host is very generous. We have rented many houses in the US and UK and this was the most generously equipped one. There was a plentiful supply of linens, detergents, toiletries, foil, napkins, spices, condiments and so much more. Also we enjoyed the BEST quality toilet paper (Angel Soft?) not a cheap thin stuff. This rental was so worth the price. It was perfectly located 3 minutes drive from Dennys, and a number of restaurants and a great cinema. We were there to deliver our son to.college and it was one town away.We were entertained by rabbits, peacocks and deer near the house. We had a lovely stay at this old house and we will be staying there again when we return to see our boy at his college."

- "This was a fantastic property and Joel has thought trough everything to make it a fantastic set up. We commented as we left that he must have watched videos or read the book on how to create a great VRBO. Good stuff:1. He's very quick on communication and answered a bunch of questions;2. Very easy to check in with a code on the front door. Lights were on and there was a garage door opener on the front table, which allowed me to pull the van into the garage and unload. Given it was the dead of winter, this was a tremendous help;3. The place has obviously been completely redone from top to bottom. EVERYTHING was impeccably done and decorated;4. Amazing extras included: speakers in the bathroom (although we didn't use), fluffy towels, comfortable beds, thermostats in every room, giant TVS, game consoles (didn't use), Keurig with a bunch of pods and flavours to add (again, didn't use so maybe flavoured creams), all new kitchen with everything you could need, attention to detail with everything, GREAT bath/showers;5. Hesitant to praise too much because we'll be back and don't want prices going up! We traveled from Midwest to Boston and this was our overnight. We'll be going back on this route often as our daughter is in college there the next fours years, so we'll be booking again for sure.6. I will also add that I don't think photos do justice to the place. One can't discern the quality and amazing extras and the fact it's so clean, comfortable and new."
