Room was on the third floor so had to go 2 flights of stairs but was my own fault for a late check in. The on site dining facility was an extra bonus. Checking into the inn was a tad confusing but the staff at the restaurant had me covered. I arrived just in time before the grill closed for the evening. My meal was fantastic, staff were all super nice and the locals are a true gem. My room was perfect for a quick nights sleep. Chenango Lake is a beautiful, spring-fed lake offering family fun, swimming, boating and fishing! It's located about 6 miles outside Norwich NY. We're centrally located, approx 2 hours from Albany, 3.5 from NYC and 3 from Rochester.

Our cottage is seasonal (May-October), heated, air conditioned and fully furnished located up a stairway from the lake. We offer discounts for weekly stays! Our waterfront is approximately 300 feet and is shared with the other cabin we rent. Our cottage has one bedroom with a queen size bed, one bathroom with 2 sinks, shower and toilet and an open kitchen and living area. There is a couch or camping cot in the living room for a guest. The Kitchen is well equipped with everything to cook and eat on site. There is a deck on the lake side of the cabin with a gas grill and eating area. Cable TV, wifi/internet, linens and towels are included, a water cooler with extra water jugs in the kitchen. Sleeps 2-3 people.

This cottage has been in the family since 1992. In 2015, Chris and his 4 brothers purchased it from their parents, made several upgrades and began renting it. I'm Chris's wife Missy and manage the property! We absolutely love Chenango Lake and the time we spend at this cabin. We have 2 adult sons and both grew up spending time at the cabin every summer. It's a little piece of heaven just a few miles from home. Many of our guests agree and look forward to coming back again!

Everything needed for a pleasant time on the lake was provided, and our hosts were immediately available by text if we had any questions (which we didn't)." - "Our host, Missy, was fantastic in every way. When I asked that we might be arriving early, Missy was accommodating beyond our request and when we asked if we could extend our stay an additional day, again Missy beat our expectations. We were very happy with our host. Getting into the cabin was easy . The GPS directions combined with Missy's instructions made entry a snap. The cabin was clean and well equipped for our 6 day stay. The kitchen had most everything we needed to prepare our own meals. Bed linens and towels were also provided. WiFi internet access was fast and worked everywhere near the cabin. We had no problem with cell service (T-Mobile and Consumer Cellular) The lake is beautiful and the host provided a place for a campfire, kayaks, a canoe, life jackets, fishing gear, picnic table and Adirondack chairs to allow guests to enjoy all the lake has to offer. While there are many homes around the lake, the lake was peaceful and quiet. On the weekend, there were a few more motor powered watercraft, but even then, it was pretty quiet and dawn and dusk were heavenly quiet and peaceful. Our cabin is seasonal (May-Oct), furnished and heated. We offer DISCOUNTS for weekly stays. Our waterfront is approximately 300 feet and is shared with our cabin next door. The cabin is rustic yet comfortable with one bedroom with 2 queen size beds (a curtain between for more privacy), a full master bath, a half bath off the dining room, a well equipped kitchen (no dishwasher), a large living room with 1 queen size sofa sleeper, 1 twin bed and 1 regular sofa. The cabin sleeps 7. The dining room seats 6-8 comfortably and has a 5 gallon water cooler with extra water jugs. There are ceiling fans throughout. Open the sliding doors in the dining room and walk out onto the large deck, overlooking the lake, with a table, umbrella and seating for 6, a picnic table with umbrella, a couple adirondack chairs and a gas grill. Spectrum cable TV, wired internet and wi-fi is included as well as linens and towels. There is a fire pit next to the lake as well as a great hammock for watching the sunset! A dock, 2 kayaks, a canoe, life jackets, fishing equipment, swim floats are all available and shared with our cabin next door.

The Enchanted Suite is quiet and secluded in our finished basement. It even has it's own private bathroom with a shower.

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS- To ensure the safety and health of all our guests we have implemented extra precautions during your stay. We are following CDC recommendations to ensure a deep clean and a safe stay.

-Using EPA registered disinfectants

-Lysol disinfecting spray, Hand sanitizer, extra cleaners are provided upon arrival for all guests to use within the apartment. (Please do not remove from apt)

- All door knobs, light switches, remotes & handles are sprayed with Alcohol (80%) & wiped down between each guest.

-All Remotes are cleaned between guests & are sealed in clear bags.

-All doors are sealed after deep clean-with CDC guideline Tamper proof stickers.

-ALL linens are washed between guests in accordance with CDC guidelines.

This apartment is a modern designer, two bedroom. Kitchen features all high end stainless steel appliances including refrigerator with ice/water dispenser, dishwasher, microwave oven, a self cleaning gas range, pull out sink faucet, kitchen pantry storage, under counter LED lighting, Counter top island with seating for four, Living room, dining room & kitchen in an open floor plan. Separate laundry room with storage. Bathroom features marble vanity top, chair height elongated toilet, built in cabinet storage and a 60” glass door shower with seating. Each bedroom has a queen size bed, couch in living room. TV and ample closet storage. Private enclosed glass sun porch. Dimmable can LED lighting and new tilt in windows with screens through out. Paved ample parking within feet of private entry door. WiFi.

**No access to back of house, back yard, garage or the parking in back of house- as this is a separate property not part of Airbnb.

Guests have access to the MAIN door entrance (only Airbnb entrance on property) which is in the front of house and paved parking spots directly next to front of house.**
