Consider our house your home away from home while you visit Sylvan Beach. This enchanting property boasts 3 bedrooms total and sleeps 8. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms and a full bath. Downstairs has a kitchen, full bath, laundry room, living room with a sleeper sofa, a small dining area and an island making breakfast a delight every morning. Open the front door to an inviting and relaxing front porch to enjoy your morning coffee or head out back to the private fenced in back deck.

The property is located on a quiet, dead end street and conveniently located across the street from the heart of Sylvan! This wonderful home is within a few minutes walk to many shops and restaurants and across the street from the beach, amusement park, playground and casino.

Free wifi is included in your stay.

Appliances include washer, dryer, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, food processor, and outdoor grill. Also, the kitchen is fully equipped with plates, bowls, utensils, wine glasses, cups, pots, pans and much more. The refrigerator is equipped with an ice maker. We also have a grill outside.

Central Air cools the home on hot days.

-No pets allowed

-No smoking & no recreational or illegal drug use whatsoever on the property. Any evidence of smoke in the home after check out will be subject to a $300 fine and any guest found to be partaking in illegal drug use while still inhibiting the home, will be removed immediately. No refund will be issued and possible legal ramifications will ensue.

-Please clean up any garbage left around the property and place garbage bags into the trash bin outside. Please also place recyclables into the recyclable bin next to the trash bin. Please bring bins out to the road on Sunday night for trash to be picked up.

-Please no food or drink in the bedrooms. Guest will be liable to compensate the host for any stains.

-Parties are not allowed under any circumstances and no additional guests are allowed either.

-Please treat our home and amenities with the same respect you would your own. Leave the home in the same condition you found it and if you notice anything broken or out of place, let us know immediately.

-It is a self check in and out with a smart code that will be given the morning of your booking.

-Please respect the neighbors. It is very important that noise levels are kept reasonable in the outdoor areas after 9pm.

-All dishes are to be washed and put away before check out.

-If dishwasher is used, please run it and put all dishes away.

-Guests are required to lock all windows and doors before they depart.

-Guests will be required to strip all bedding (sheets, comforter, blankets, pillow cases and covers) and place them in the labeled bags found in each bedroom.

The Beach House: Cozy 3 bedroom canal front home in wonderful Sylvan Beach, NY!

The Beach House is a nice rental home and is available weekly, monthly or even just for a weekend beginning April 30, 2010. Cute bungalow floor plan contains a king sized bed on lower level, as well as 2 separate full sized beds on the upper level; easily accommodates 6 people with 1.5 baths and a washer and dryer on the main level. The home is fully furnished, and includes satellite TV, high speed wireless Internet access, DVDs, board games, a dart board and a Foosball table for entertainment. The upper level also has a small TV and DVD player. This home also features a screened canal-front porch, a nice deck on the canal side of the house (with a large sliding glass door to the deck from the kitchen area), a small patio with a nice fire pit, a picnic table with umbrella on the canal side of the house, and gas barbecue grill.

A dock on the canal located right in your back yard is also available for your use; perfect for your jet skis or boat.

The canal directly connects to the east shore of Oneida Lake, a 28 mile long, all-sports lake. Spend the day fishing, tubing, water skiing, jet skiing, or just sight seeing from the lake! The unique location of this home also makes it great for fishing right in your own back yard from the dock or from the bank of the canal; perfect for kids and adults alike. For those vacationers who are into more serious boating and / or fishing, you can travel the canal system to Lake Ontario, a well as to the Hudson River / NYC (approximately 225 miles). Several fishing charters are available on the lake as well; Oneida Lake boasts some of the best walleye fishing in the entire northeast! We also have 2 nice kayaks available for use while staying at the home.

Numerous bars, restaurants, souvenir shops, a deli mart and sandy Sylvan Beach are only a few blocks away... and very easy to walk to and from.

The beach front offers shallow, sandy-bottom swimming or sun bathing; bring a lawn chair or a blanket to the beach in the evening hours and treat yourself to some of the most beautiful sunsets on the planet across the nice lake front. A small lake front amusement park, miniature golf courses and an arcade are also only 6 blocks from your vacation home!

For those interested in other activities outside the village limits, the Turning Stone Casino and Resort is a short 15 minute drive away, and provides AAA 4-diamond rated dining, as well as a PGA golf course and world class gaming facilities. The region is also rich in other outdoor / sightseeing activities, include Vernon Downs harness racing, numerous state parks (Chittenango Falls, Verona Beach and Green Lakes parks are all within a 30 minute drive), the Boxing Hall of Fame museum in Canastota and a small Erie Canal museum in Chittenango. Located in the heart of the beautiful fun filled resort village of Sylvan Beach, this 4 bed 2 bath third floor suite overlooks the lake and village. The owners working with an architect, building engineer, general contractor and renown decorator restored this historical building, which was originally a Post Office in circa 1870. They renovated the old third floor boarding house in 2017 to create a luxury apartment in the sky. Sleeps 6+ adults/children. Walk to beach, restaurants, and the famous Amusement Park.

It’s a beach atmosphere here and the flooring, colors, furnishings and decoctions reflect the beachy theme as you can see from the pictures. The panoramic views from this tallest building in the resort are spectacular. The view includes Oneida Lake in the front, Erie Canal in the back and village restaurants and entertainment to either side. A renown local decorator, Rosanne Smith, worked with the owners to detail the apartment furnishing and finishing. - "We come and stay at a Oneida Lake every summer and you just absolutely cannot beat this place! We have 9 of us and the 5 bedrooms are plenty of space for all of us to sleep. The view feels like ocean front, instead of just lake front with the huge glass windows and doors and the sandy beach out front. Sitting and having a morning cup of coffee with that view or watching the sunset and relaxing is worth the cost alone! The inside is nicely decorated and we brought groceries for the week and used the stocked kitchen constantly. There are two kayaks and multiple tube floats that we used all week with life jackets provided. We have stayed here for two summers and plan to rebook for next summer as well!
