Consider our house your home away from home while you visit Sylvan Beach. This enchanting property boasts 3 bedrooms total and sleeps 8. Upstairs has 3 bedrooms and a full bath. Downstairs has a kitchen, full bath, laundry room, living room with a sleeper sofa, a small dining area and an island making breakfast a delight every morning. Open the front door to an inviting and relaxing front porch to enjoy your morning coffee or head out back to the private fenced in back deck.

The property is located on a quiet, dead end street and conveniently located across the street from the heart of Sylvan! This wonderful home is within a few minutes walk to many shops and restaurants and across the street from the beach, amusement park, playground and casino.

Free wifi is included in your stay.

Appliances include washer, dryer, stove, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, toaster, food processor, and outdoor grill. Also, the kitchen is fully equipped with plates, bowls, utensils, wine glasses, cups, pots, pans and much more. The refrigerator is equipped with an ice maker. We also have a grill outside.

-No smoking & no recreational or illegal drug use whatsoever on the property. Any evidence of smoke in the home after check out will be subject to a $300 fine and any guest found to be partaking in illegal drug use while still inhibiting the home, will be removed immediately. No refund will be issued and possible legal ramifications will ensue.

-Please clean up any garbage left around the property and place garbage bags into the trash bin outside. Please also place recyclables into the recyclable bin next to the trash bin. Please bring bins out to the road on Sunday night for trash to be picked up.

-Please no food or drink in the bedrooms. Guest will be liable to compensate the host for any stains.

-Parties are not allowed under any circumstances and no additional guests are allowed either.

-Please treat our home and amenities with the same respect you would your own. Leave the home in the same condition you found it and if you notice anything broken or out of place, let us know immediately.

-It is a self check in and out with a smart code that will be given the morning of your booking.

-Please respect the neighbors. It is very important that noise levels are kept reasonable in the outdoor areas after 9pm.

The Beach House: Cozy 3 bedroom canal front home in wonderful Sylvan Beach, NY!

The Beach House is a nice rental home and is available weekly, monthly or even just for a weekend beginning April 30, 2010. Cute bungalow floor plan contains a king sized bed on lower level, as well as 2 separate full sized beds on the upper level; easily accommodates 6 people with 1.5 baths and a washer and dryer on the main level. The home is fully furnished, and includes satellite TV, high speed wireless Internet access, DVDs, board games, a dart board and a Foosball table for entertainment. The upper level also has a small TV and DVD player. This home also features a screened canal-front porch, a nice deck on the canal side of the house (with a large sliding glass door to the deck from the kitchen area), a small patio with a nice fire pit, a picnic table with umbrella on the canal side of the house, and gas barbecue grill.

A dock on the canal located right in your back yard is also available for your use; perfect for your jet skis or boat.

The canal directly connects to the east shore of Oneida Lake, a 28 mile long, all-sports lake. Spend the day fishing, tubing, water skiing, jet skiing, or just sight seeing from the lake! The unique location of this home also makes it great for fishing right in your own back yard from the dock or from the bank of the canal; perfect for kids and adults alike. For those vacationers who are into more serious boating and / or fishing, you can travel the canal system to Lake Ontario, a well as to the Hudson River / NYC (approximately 225 miles). Several fishing charters are available on the lake as well; Oneida Lake boasts some of the best walleye fishing in the entire northeast! We also have 2 nice kayaks available for use while staying at the home.

Numerous bars, restaurants, souvenir shops, a deli mart and sandy Sylvan Beach are only a few blocks away... and very easy to walk to and from.

The beach front offers shallow, sandy-bottom swimming or sun bathing; bring a lawn chair or a blanket to the beach in the evening hours and treat yourself to some of the most beautiful sunsets on the planet across the nice lake front. A small lake front amusement park, miniature golf courses and an arcade are also only 6 blocks from your vacation home!

Located in the heart of the beautiful fun filled resort village of Sylvan Beach, this 4 bed 2 bath third floor suite overlooks the lake and village. The owners working with an architect, building engineer, general contractor and renown decorator restored this historical building, which was originally a Post Office in circa 1870. - "We come and stay at a Oneida Lake every summer and you just absolutely cannot beat this place! We have 9 of us and the 5 bedrooms are plenty of space for all of us to sleep. The view feels like ocean front, instead of just lake front with the huge glass windows and doors and the sandy beach out front. Sitting and having a morning cup of coffee with that view or watching the sunset and relaxing is worth the cost alone! The inside is nicely decorated and we brought groceries for the week and used the stocked kitchen constantly. - "We had a nice long weekend there! It’s a great location with the beach right across the street and you’re able to also walk to everything. I parked my car in the front of the house ( no driveway ) when we first got there and didn’t have to drive until we had to leave. The house was cute and felt a little like my grandfather’s cottage being able to walk to the beach. Having an outdoor shower would have been great though to be able to get all the sand off you before going in the house. Quiet neighborhood, people were pleasant , and beautiful sunsets. Small kitchen has a little table and couple of chairs , microwave, a coffee maker (not a single cup Keurig machine), full size fridge/freezer , washer and dryer , but didn’t have a dishwasher. I walked across the street to the convenience store and would get coffee every morning there that was pretty good, plus they have a lot of miscellaneous things you need if you forgot something . The sunroom off of the living room has picnic table with tablecloth on it and benches, and a couple more chairs, hanging lights around top of windows you can put on at night make it look cute and back door leads to the side(back ) yard where there is a fire pit and grill . I would definitely recommend to anyone with a small group of people looking for a get away near the beach, that is relatively quiet , but still able to walk to everything. Thank you !"

- "This home as was unique and as gorgeous as we had hope for! Right on the canal where we fished with a lot of luck. Lots of fish..Ducks ..turtles. seagulls..and even a muskrat. House was clean and smelled great. Beds are comfy and cozy..and we all slept great with the central AC. They have a range of board games such as SORRY...Monopoly..Scrabble etc. The view is amazing from both the deck and the balcony. The neighborhood is clean and in the heart of downtown near ice cream shops..restaurants..the amusement park and the beach!!!! We walked everywhere. The neighbors were great. We got to check out Mike's cool boat and they were always friendly! Chris..the host was extremely accommodating and made sure we were having the best experience. I will be staying here again..definitely my go to place!!❤️"

- "Our family stayed at the Cove for Memorial Day weekend. We were offered an upgrade from the 2 bedroom to 3 bedroom for no charge. The cottage was very new, well appointed with fresh/clean linens, comfortable mattresses and great water pressure in the showers. Our son really enjoyed the bunk beds which were full beds with privacy shades and personal side bed lights for reading his books. The cottage was clean and full of natural light throughout. Exploring the cove was one of our favorite aspects of the trip. They offer an on site candy store, which our son really enjoyed! A general store with everything you could need. An eatery with many options for breakfast and lunch. They also offered many rentals for your stay - including but not limited to, bikes, kayaks, paddle boards etc. During our stay, we made use of the complimentary platoon boat rental included in our stay. This was certainly one of the highlights of our time away! We took the boat out with the dogs and enjoyed beautiful weather all weekend long on Oneida lake. We took our son on his first tubing adventure! Lots of firsts during our stay."
