This little cottage is ideal for those who want a romantic retreat, creative get away, wellness stay or just some rest & relaxation.

Here's what I find to be the best features of the property. First, it's a humble cottage that you will find offers all of the conveniences of home. Fully stocked kitchen, washer & dryer, Weber grill on the back deck, you have a large screen TV for those evenings that you may want to recoup from water and sun. Kayaks, an additional deck over the water for dining and so much more that would have to be experienced personally to fully understand.

The location is on 29th Avenue which if you are familiar with Sylvan beach most of the Restaurant and Entertainment is centrally located around Main Street, 13th - 15th Ave. It's a short drive and or walk into town but the beautiful part is that you are nestled away from the busy section and can fully take in the amazing sunsets while relaxing at the quiet end of the Beach.

The cottage is truly single floor living with a very large yard space. The Sunroom features a pull out sofa for two, which offers a sliding glass door for fantastic view and a cool breeze off the lake for a perfect nights sleep, while listening to the waves roll in.

Off of the kitchen is one 1/2 bath and the Master bedroom which has a queen bed w/ ensuite bathroom. There is a small upstairs space which has a twin bed at the top of the stairs as well as a trundle bed to the far front of the house.

The ideal renter would be most interested in privacy, looking to fully enjoy outdoor living in what we consider to be a prime location within the beach.

- "We come and stay at a Oneida Lake every summer and you just absolutely cannot beat this place! We have 9 of us and the 5 bedrooms are plenty of space for all of us to sleep. The view feels like ocean front, instead of just lake front with the huge glass windows and doors and the sandy beach out front. Sitting and having a morning cup of coffee with that view or watching the sunset and relaxing is worth the cost alone! The inside is nicely decorated and we brought groceries for the week and used the stocked kitchen constantly. - "We had a nice long weekend there! It’s a great location with the beach right across the street and you’re able to also walk to everything. I parked my car in the front of the house ( no driveway ) when we first got there and didn’t have to drive until we had to leave. The house was cute and felt a little like my grandfather’s cottage being able to walk to the beach. Having an outdoor shower would have been great though to be able to get all the sand off you before going in the house. Quiet neighborhood, people were pleasant , and beautiful sunsets. Small kitchen has a little table and couple of chairs , microwave, a coffee maker (not a single cup Keurig machine), full size fridge/freezer , washer and dryer , but didn’t have a dishwasher. I walked across the street to the convenience store and would get coffee every morning there that was pretty good, plus they have a lot of miscellaneous things you need if you forgot something . The sunroom off of the living room has picnic table with tablecloth on it and benches, and a couple more chairs, hanging lights around top of windows you can put on at night make it look cute and back door leads to the side(back ) yard where there is a fire pit and grill . I would definitely recommend to anyone with a small group of people looking for a get away near the beach, that is relatively quiet , but still able to walk to everything. Thank you !"

The large yard has a fenced in area off the back of the house where you can BBQ with your family.

At the end of the block is public access to Oneida Lake, and is a great spot to watch the amazing sunsets without the crowds at Sunset Park.

The cottage is 1.1 miles from Sunset Park and Sylvan Beach’s delicious restaurants. Walking from the cottage is a breeze, with a sidewalk that starts across the street from the cottage, and continues all the way to the bridge between Sylvan Beach and Verona Beach.

Guests will have access to the full cottage, grounds and a part of the garage. The garage contains yard games for your enjoyment, and is available for you use to store your vacation gear.

We are located just outside the Village of Sylvan Beach. It is about a mile to Sunset Park from the cottage. Walking is possible thanks to the sidewalk located across the street from the cottage. There are also several beach access sites within a few blocks of the cottage.

3. Pets are permitted, but must be registered at the time of reservation. There is a $100 pet fee that will be added to your reservation at the time of booking. If pets are brought in without registering them there will be a $250 fine. Only registered pets are allowed on the premise and grounds of the cottage.

4. Guests’ usage of the bicycles at the cottage is at their own risk.
