As you enter the Property, the Main cottage is situated on the right side facing the cabins that is nestled between the cedar trees along the lake. As you drive along the lake on the drive path you will see cabin marked with a number. To enter into you Cabin or Cottage you will be given a code for the pin pad few days prior to your arrival.

3- The AC is window AC and We have space heaters should you require.

The cottages were rustic and adequate for our needs. The kitchen area had all the equipment one would need but water for washing had to be brought in by a water container. We brought our own drinking water. The washrooms were close to the cottage and were adequate and clean. There were 2 showers. The picnic table was by the cottage and close to the water was a great place to hang out and have our meals. The cottage was easy to get to, well sign posted and very lose to Wiarton for shopping."

About the space

This Cabin is located on a private lake front property perfect for short summer getaway. Sleep in late and wake up on the lake. Have your coffee then plan your day full of excursions in the wonderful Bruce Peninsula Region. Fishing, Lake Skating, Canoeing, Bird Watching, and Hunting. Sky lake is a clean, freshwater lake that has excellent fishing for Bass, Perch, Pickeral, Pike. We have a boat launch on the property free to use for our guest.

Sky lake is known to be a warm, quiet and peaceful body of water- perfect for fishing and in the early and late parts of the day and enjoy bird watching and canoeing during the rest of the day. Canoes available for rent please check with hose in advance.
As you enter the Property, the Main cottage is situated on the right side facing the cabins that is nestled between the cedar trees along the lake. As you drive along the lake on the drive path you will see cabin marked with a number. To enter into you Cabin or Cottage you will be given a code for the pin pad few days prior to your arrival.
Prepare Meals and build memories. You have your own private open concept kitchen, with the view of the lake. Prepare meal easily with a fully equipped kitchen that contains all the essentials, including microwave, and stove / oven. Living room is petite but quant. Dining table, smart TV with wifi. Please take time to read the Bedding and sleeping arrangement details that way you can better plan your sleeping and bringing your own bed sheets.

Our 8 waterfront cabins are situated comfortably along Sky Lake. Onsite we have fireplace, Private BBQ and deck for your enjoyment. This is a private property with Private Lake and access to water right at your doorsteps. Because of this Cabin being so close to water, ( 4 meters to the shore line) we are not permitted to have gray water service inside, as a result, we have central washrooms for your use, free hot shower and portable water supply if needed few short walk away. What to expect on your arrival:
1-We provide a water tub for the kitchen sink, and it’s a self-fill set up. The water is a Well water filtered and sanitized and is drinkable, however we always recommend to bring own drinking water.
2- Outside we have a BBQ private for your use only, filled propane and utensils. The deck and porch all have lake view and with the picnic table. Enjoy the mornings sipping coffee a listening to the sounds of morning birds, and mist on the lake before the wildlife wakes and the day begins full of excursions and the great Northers Ontario day trips.
3- The AC is window AC and We have space heaters should you require.
4- The fire pits are located in and around the property. Just pic one and enjoy the night with family and friends.
5-The Cabins have situated in and around Cedar Trees, with large access to boat launches and scenic walking trials.
6-Please bring with you fitted Bed sheets and Pillows and blankets for your sleeping arrangements.
7- Boat launch is free for guests. We also have Canoe rentals for a fee of $30 per day. Please make sure to ask in advance of your check in date for canoe available. The Rental starts at 6AM to 8PM.

My cottage is a simple, wholesome escape. Just a skip away from the busy roads and city life, nature is all around. You might spot a heron flying over the river, chipmunks stopping by to say hello, or even a turkey wandering through the yard. It’s a small, cozy, no-frills kind of place—perfect for slowing down and enjoying the little things.

Indoors, light up the woodstove and get cozy—there’s plenty of firewood for you to use. Play a game of chess at the game table or wind down with some Netflix. Outside, lounge with a good book on the deck, stretch out in the hammock, or fire up the Kamado grill for a BBQ. Sauble Beach is just an 8 minute drive, and Tobermory, Lion’s Head, and Collingwood are all about an hour away.

Come stay in our recently renovated cozy cottage. There are now 2 bedrooms, a master and seperate room with one set of bunk beds. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. The cottage although it isn’t a full kitchen has everything you may need. No stove but single burner and most people want to bbq outside on beautiful summer days. The cottage does have a/c and heat to keep you comfortable

The cottage is fairly well equipped, be sure to bring bedding and towels. We provide mattress covers, pillows and a comforter for the main bed.

The cottage shares a property with another cottage, we have added a cedar hedge that will provide more privacy. Each cottage gets its own fire pit, chairs and picnic table.

The campground is a small campground of 60 sites, enjoy the campground amenities, heated pool, horseshoes, rent a kayak or canoe and go out on the Spry Lake.

We are located 10 minutes from Sauble Beach and 45 minutes from the National Park

This is an original Oliphant cottage built in 1911. Has been refurbished and made into a 4 season cottage. We are a 2 minute walk to the government docks and marina. There is a boat launch at the marina if you bring a boat or PWC. There is a 10$ fee for launching. We have shallow water with sand to walk out in or swim, kayak, SUP, or canoe out in front of the cottage. You can fish off the government dock. On windy days you can watch or windsurf / kite surf yourself right in front of the cottage. You are located about a 10 minute drive to Sauble Beach. We are an hour drive to the top of the Peninsula to Tobermory and 13 km across the Peninsula to Wiarton on the Georgian Bay. Very central to do whatever outdoor activities you would like or just relax and look over the lake at the cottage.The cottage can sleep up to 6 people as we have a queen bed in the front bedroom and 2 singles in the other bedroom. We also have 2 singles in the living room area that is a day bed/couch and a trundle you can pull out from underneath. There is a bbq for outdoor cooking including the propane and we also include fire wood for your outdoor fires. The kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking/baking needs and we have a drip coffee maker and a Keurig.We have a limited channel selection on Satellite that has news, weather and music. We do have a ROKU for your use and a disc player and some discs for your use also. You may also enjoy having a campfire at night and no need to grab wood - we have wood for you when you arrive. Pets are not allowed - so sorry but we have experienced damage from pets and had to try to fix the cottage quickly and replace furniture. And also be picking up excrement so that the next renters are not stepping in it.
This also allows renters with allergies to know they are safe. The Bruce Peninsula is a dark skies environment so star gazing is amazing here. If luck is on your side you may even see the northern lights. We live next door and have done some construction in our backyard so this year the backyard of the cottage is off limits for fear of injury to guests because of different building materials there. Our apologies for this inconvenience. The cottage and front yard is all yours.
Going out right from the Oliphant Docks is a Fish guiding tour with "Fish The Bruce" and boat tours around the Fishing Islands including sunset tours is "Boat The Bruce". You do not even have to drive to get to these tours. A short walk of maybe 2 minutes to the dock or the Captains of the Boat Cruises could pick you up with the golf cart shuttle at the cottage. These can be looked up online and booked there. We also have Stan Up Paddle boards that you can rent for $35 for the day from us. The are Red brand blow up paddle boards and if you want to take them elsewhere they come in a bag for your convenience of transportation.

The kitchen was well-equipped for preparing an evening meal we hosted for our family group of 12. Being able to easily walk to the marina was another plus. In person, the charm hits you so much more, especially if you are into the ‘off grid’ vibes. The no AC was fine since there were many windows and there was a candle to help with some of the humidity smells in cabin 2. There is everything you could possibly need here: waterfront, spacious rooms/ beds, cooking utensils, fire pit, and amazing welcome gift!!! Everything was beyond clean inside and the bugs were kept to a minimum inside all the buildings. For being so remote, I was amazed at the cleanliness. Will definitely be back!! Everything and the hosts were amazing! 😊"

- "Beautiful view, nice and helpful staff!" - "We had a group of 8 and stayed in a cabin that sleeps 8. It was small but the outdoor space made up for it. We camp often as a group and by far these were the nicest, cleanest common bathrooms we’ve experienced. Newly renovated and easily accessible. I wouldn’t recommend the lake to swim in because the kids had leeches on them when they got out. However we did rent a boat and did some fishing. The sunset is directly infront of the cabins and was absolutely stunning. The staff was amazing. We love Bruce. They were very helpful and attentive and have everything you need. They even helped me pump a flat tire. I would recommend this property."

- "Had an oustanding time here. The cabin was very cute and clean. Perfect for 2 people. It was very quiet, as well as many things to go do day trips in the surrounding areas. The cabin was maybe 20 ft from the water, so watching the sun set wad incredible. Which also made it very romantic to watch while you have a camp fire. Looking forward to going back again." - "I was nervous to leave a review as it will not be very flattering. 😬 we were excited to spend a weekend here, we are easy going and don’t mind roughing it. We brought our 14’ bass boat, this body of water may or may not support such a boat but it was very weedy. We wouldn’t even chance launching the boat at their launch. We went to oliphant instead (was very nice) when we returned we were all ready to just enjoy the tranquility of the area but little did we know there was going to be a very, very loud “party” at the main house (right behind our cabin) until well after 11pm. We had to play our own music to help camouflage theirs. It was very “unique” music. Time for bed-oh good luck with that! The “security” light shining in our bedroom window all night (no blinds only rattan rolling blind that blocked out nothing.) and the mattress cover was so noisy (not removable) every time you move it was so loud now I know how toddlers feel. Also be aware there is no running water. This is mentioned in the ad that there can’t be grey water but I thought there’d be some sort of faucet with a system for it but that’s on me. It’s a very tight space and the cabins are very close to each other. The owner seemed nice enough but it didn’t make the stay any better. Also because we had our boat we parked in the little parking area and someone parked in our spot and no one asked or mentioned it to us so we had to squeeze by this strangers car to get through to go use the bathrooms. The bathrooms are ok, but the shower curtains were see through but they did fix that as soon as someone mentioned it (not us, we didn’t shower there) I didn’t want to leave this review but VRBO asked me three times and I notice no one had reviewed it so here it is. Not worth the money we spent on it."

On Georgian Bay, this well-maintained, 2-bedroom, 1-bathroom cottage is updated with a 500-square foot addition and floor-to-ceiling panoramic views of Hope Bay. The kitchen is well-stocked with herbs, spices, the basics like flour, sugar, tea, coffee, and the fridge has a full set of condiments and essentials like butter and maple syrup. The kitchen and bathroom are newly renovated, and a small beach in front of the cottage is partially shaded. At the water is a dock, firepit, chaises lounges, and comfortable chairs. Spring-summer-fall hiking on the Bruce Trail is just a few minutes walk away, and biking is excellent on Bruce Road 9 and surrounding rural roads. The cottage is well-insulted, with two heat sources a temperature controlled gas stove and a wood stove that keep the cottage warm and comfortable in the coldest weather.

The private water access is lovely and it’s within easy walking distance of a semi-private sandy beach and a larger public sandy beach is just a few minutes further (walking). Cedar Grove Camping was established as a hunting/fishing and family fun space, sometime during the 1950’s. Many of our loyal repeat guests still recall their childhood memories of good times at our establishment and now continue this tradition with their children and grandchildren.

The tent sites are on protective land by the UNESCO world heritage, and we made sure to keep the landscape in a more natural setting rather than gravel, concert world. Respect nature and it will respect you! is our motto. We have central washrooms with free hot showers that is conveniently located within a few short steps of the campsite. Potable water for cleaning and cooking is also located a short distance from the cabins.

This is a private property with Private Lake and access to water at your own risk. We have central washroom for you use, free hot shower and portable water supply if needed few short walk away. Please remember to bring you own camping gear and cooking tools.

We are popular for summer, fishing and Ice fishing, canoeing, bird watching, and hunting. Sky lake is a clean, fresh water lake that has excellent fishing for Bass, Perch, Pickerel, and Pike. We have a boat launch on the property for free use for our guests.

The lake is a warm, quiet and peaceful body of water- perfect for fishing and in the early and late parts of the day and enjoy bird watching, swimming and canoeing during the rest of the day. So come on, lets pitch a tent, bring your canoe and lets have some fun!!

All our campsites are newly created, it has portion of flat soft/grass land, next to gravel space for parking. Each site has lake access and lakeview with amazing sunsets weather permitting. We will add more pictures in the spring as the snow melts.

Welcome to our newest park model. A park model is very similar to a tiny house and has everything you need to enjoy your vacation. It is located on the water so you can wake-up go sit on your deck and relax. It is located at a small family campground with a heated pool (in summer) * pool is usually open midJune to September, horseshoe pits, basketball net. The lake is perfect for canoeing or kayaking too.

The unit has almost everything you need, a stove, fridge, freezer, bbq (we supply the propane), keurig, toaster, kettle, dishes, pots, pans etc. we supply the linens for the beds. The only thing people need to bring are beach towels and bedding for the pull out couch if you need to use it.

These are the actual pictures from this unit. Yes you are on a lake and it is beautiful.

It is located at a family campground with 60 sites. During the week, the camp is usually pretty quiet. During weekends, it can get more social as many of the campers will get together and people.have campfires. WiFi is the most common issue - it is rural not high speed and limited to 2 devices. However your data plans will usually work here.

- "We had a nice stay for the most part. The neighbours can get quite loud. The barking dogs, all day music and parties late into the evening was less appreciated. So I would not recommend this place if you are looking for tranquility. The view and the house are nice."

Welcome to the Rustic Cottage at Oliphant Family Campground. Come camping without having to bring anything and enjoy the comforts of a cottage we are at a perfect location, 10 minutes to Sauble. Bring at a campground means you can enjoy the amenities as well.

The rustic cottage has recently be renovated. There are 2 bedrooms, one king, one queen. In the kitchen there is a fridge, with freezer, stove. The kitchen is fairly well stocked with most essentials. The bathroom had 3 pieces, toilet, sink and a shower.

Outside enjoy a fire in your fire-pit, have a picnic on picnic table, or sit outside on the deck. We also provide a bbq and supply the propane.

We are centrally located, 10 minute to Sauble Beach or Wiarton, 45 minute to the Bruce Peninsula National Park.

Bedding for the beds are provided but not for the pull out couch if you choose to use it. Bath towels are provided, but no beach towels.

The campground is a small family campground. We have a heated pool that is heated in the summer, horseshoe pit, basketball net. In the store are movies to borrow, books, board games, a fooze ball table and ping pong table.

We do have canoes to rent at $10 a session or bring your own. We are located on Spry Lake that is great for canoeing, kayaking and small boat fishing.

We do provide 2 access codes to wifi but we are rural, expect up to 3 mbs (not high speed)

- "First time in the area. We loved the cottage (very clean and well furnished) & the camping (small & quiet, great heated pool & nice location on the lake). Not far from amazing spots to discover (Sauble beach, Tobermory). We had a wonderful time and definitely recommend the cottage to everyone." - "This cabin was clean, cozy and comfortable. It has had a lot of recent upgrades: granite counters, luxury vinyl flooring, new cabinets and windows, a new shower. The hosts welcomed us with a nice bottle of wine and a very nice note with their cell numbers. Shower had good pressure, was hot, drained well and was tall enough. The kitchen was well equipped and had new appliances. The campground is very well maintained and I really liked the white cedar privacy hedges between campsites. It was pet friendly which is very important to me. The bath towels were fluffy and big. I recommend bringing your own wash cloths (none were provided), extra hand towels and extra kitchen towels. We always bring extra towels to use on the dog. We could not get the TV to work but that was ok as we actually talked to each other! There was poison ivy near the cabin so we put an outdoor footstool over it so no one got near it. The campground is a mile or so off the main road and 10 mins from Sauble Beach, 30 mins from Lion's Head and an hour from Tobermory. We did not go in Spry Lake but I think it would be really nice to paddle around in warmer weather. It was a very pleasant place to stay."
